We don't understand what it's like for you and your ex. You're right, we don't, but nobody understands anyone's relationship with their ex. 😂😂
Lucky you’re experienced when those recurved teeth sink in bro. Everybody’s first instinct is to yank your hand away. Can only imagine the damage that could do if it was a big snake
haha. I work with reptiles all the time. 35 years. I'm a lawyer.
Keep pumping out the vids bro!!!🔥🔥🔥
I love stories. I hope u do more. Animal keepers are like fisherman or hunters (funny enough). We get together and always have crazy stories to tell each other. I could imagine this is nothing compared to the crock stories. Can't wait to hear more
Thank you and I agree we all tell our best stories but if we don't hang out you never get to hear those it's a real shame let's change that
@@venomman20 💯♥️👍
what was the biggest croc that ever bit you? awesome story
Pride Cometh before the fall!
Get help if needed.
Great story. I've heard that Anacondas are generally unpredictable.....
😂😂😂😂 I feel the same way about most people
@@D.W.G. me too lol. But just like animals I don't hold it against them I'm just 'aware' and try to take precautions lol .
My worst bite was also a Yellow Anaconda. I've never had trouble with the Greens but the Yellows I dont trust at all.
I was almost killed by my 15 foot burm. I'd love to share that story with you!
That's crazy hit me up on instagram or fb messages sometime
Helping a friend clean a circus sized Niles cage went very south once. He was completely out of his luege and the critter was never accumulated to people ( it was given to him).
Man I came by your channel by chance and honestly the first thought I had was I won't like this channel. I know I'm a judgemental asshole lol but I was wrong I really enjoy your content and can tell you really enjoy what you do and love your animals
He’s a good channel for education.
If you want to see some crazy shit, though, look up Tyler Nolan. He’s got a video where he shows the one time he got bit by a cobra. He’s damn lucky to have survived.
Story time is an awesome idea. It's a great teaching tool without being preachy imo. I have tried it in my substance abuse support group.
Yes, not overdone drama.
So basically the ex is more dangerous than the anaconda I seen your face !!!
Yes lol
great story. i enjoyed it
I keep a 6ft male and he is crazy placid. Have not struck at me once in the 5 years.
Sorry u got bit bro but funny story
Great story
Everybody yanks their hand away the first time. Luckily I've only been nicked on the tip of my index finger, because somehow I saw it coming out of the corner of my eye. As usual my fault, I was hand feeding(dangling) rodents to the pythons and I looked away for a split second when someone walked into the room. Nobody was allowed to come in during feeding times, but............ From then on I locked the door. No matter how you slice it..... ultimately my fault.
I really like your channel. Shows me how far I could have gone, if fate hadn't steered me in another direction. Good Luck young man, anyone can tell you've paid your dues, and you're gonna be just fine.
Holy hell, great story!
Wow
Of course he had an ex, that he still worked with...... he said he was a welder, too. They have exes, EVERYWHERE!!! 😂🤷♂️
Ex girlfriend huh? The plot thickens. LOL.
Ahhhh , I shouldn't have laughed. Honestly if I had an Anaconda wrapped around arm , neck ? and even if it was swallowing my hand. If my ex was right outside the door and she was my only escape, snake food I'd be.
Fascinating! Did the snake coil so tightly that it could cut off the circulation to your hand?-probably why you bled so much. Ive heard of green anacodas, now yellow. How many diffetent types/colours are there? I think it's cute you got interested in reptiles when you were 4. Did you get that from someone in your family or was it just you?
Please don't tell me that the zoo had no protocols or procedures for getting bit by an animal. That's super unprofessional. I respect your toughness, but you definitely should have gone to the doctor. Overall, in my opinion, you have to get over the idea that there is something wrong with asking for help.
Aw, man...I wanted piccies! The snake! The bite! The blood! THE EX!!!
I like Storytime!!
I'm always chasing the illustrious Vaginus Africanus ♥️
I had a boa constrictor bite me. (Completely my fault.) I had it out on the floor in front of me. I touched it at about the midpoint between head and tail. The snake turned its head back quickly and bit the crap out of me, latching on to my arm with its teeth. I jerked my arm back so aggressively that the snake went flying across the room in the opposite direction and hit the wall. Both of us came out of the encounter substantially unscathed and I managed to put the boa back in its cage.
I think it would be a good idea to have a can of pepper spray or bear mace for some of the bigger situations at the ready. There’s not many animals that won’t let go if you hit them in the chops with an eye and nose scorching concoction. If it’s life or death situation it’s a no brainer, the snakes or crocs will recover👍🇺🇸
Some of the best ideas come from nature ... much like the lizards that lose their tail, snake owners could clip on two arms on a custom made shirt with buttons just under the armpits. If a snake goes postal they will bite the clipped on arm. And even if the snake doesn't bite having a extra set of hands is useful opening up a world of multi tasking.
You said this 9 ft anaconda bit your hand then began coiling your arm up to the shoulder. Then you said lucky it wasn't one of the large anacondas or you would have been dead. How would you imagine one of the large anacondas would have went about constricting you if it first grabbed your hand? I assume it would not have started coiling your arm but would have started going straight around your torso?
Oh No ! I understand completely ! I would have let him swallow my hand first.
Lol
🤣🤣🤣
Get eaten alive by worlds largest snake, or call my ex and for help?good thinking.
I know it sounds silly but if you bite the snake on his tail he will let go of his bite immediately. You don't have to bite hard just a good firm bite on his tail is all it takes. I have done this a few times, with one time having to bite a 15' African rock pythons tail to get her to release her bite on my forearm.
Perhaps he snake in the water was faking being injured so his yellow snake friend could ambush?
Glad your injury healed, interesting story
I’m not much concerned with the snakes mouth when he’s not concerned about my hand
Thought I already subbed.... Guess I hadn't so..... BAAMM💥...THERE U GO! 🤗
Thanks so much
@@venomman20 My pleasure xxx 🤗
My yellow anaconda bit me a few times. Burned like a bastard.
Very interesting story. I appreciate you taking time to share this story.
Either way I think you’re doing an awesome job
I wouldn't call my ex gf either.... way to tough it out.
but he actually did..
@@robrich1987 True. Let's just say I'd be hesitant to call her.
Great story! I'm a fairly new follower and am loving your videos. Thanks :-)
That sounds like it sucked ass lol glad ur finger started working again!!!
@venomman20 Years ago and I mean in the 50's there was a place in Florida that produced antivenom for venomous snake bites. Read about it in one of the popular publications of the day. The article spoke of an affiliation with that snake farm in Brazil that produced antivenom. Just wondered how prepared such places are to supply antivenom to hospitals. A coworker was walking one evening around his neighborhood and got struck by a rattler. There was only a vial or two of antivenom at the local hospital so he was airlifted to El Paso where they were short many vials. The hospital sent for more antivenom from out if state! I vowed never to put myself in a situation where I could get envenomated by a venomous snake. The incident I just mentioned happened in the desert; prime Western Diamondback habitat. I believe many people are under the false conviction that there is an abundance of antivenom to treat snake bites and that isn't the case at all. Word to the wise: Don't get bit by a venomous snake. Know where the closest medical facility that can treat snake bite is located.
Yeah not many stock the antivenin I need but the one I am Local 2 while handling all the snakes has all the antivenin I need
Anti venom expires too quickly to stock in abundance at hospitals is what we were told after a copperhead bite.
I personally liked this style video. Good story good presentation. Hope you get the likes..
No clips and after you said that i got 20 Secconds
Also I've heard that alcohol poured in there mouth will make. Them let go. I love snakes but have never owned one, so don't rip me part if that's cruel or frowned upon but any way does that work
My channel is all about learning. You are always open to ask questions I have heard alcohol works when I tried it, it wasn't worth the time wasted.
@@venomman20 or the alcohol you could have had a swig of to try and numb the pain an slow the adrenaline lol.
Yeah we got the best name ✊✊✊💪💪💯💯
That must have been painfullest bite. My three foot long yellow Anaconda male bites harder than my 6 foot long Reticulated Pythons.
That's the truth lol
Oh gosh I couldn't imagine getting got by an anaconda lol
Good idea Venomman
Cool story... thanks for sharing....
the soap free hand sanitizer gel makes them release instantly 98% of the time
Absolutely love this story time and all your videos... this is hilarious. Always great content
Bravo!!!😎🤗😁
Btw, how many reptiles do you work with? Thanks for the story!
I thought it was a great story and i learned its not just then venom beauties you need to be aware of. Thanks for sharing
👍👍👍
Ever been to the rattle snake round up? Out in PA ?
Put tooth paste or mouth wash on the snakes skin they let go
Great video! Can’t wait for more!
Cool story 😊
👏👏👏👏
My worst bite was Burmese python, it’s cage was high up and the snake was coiled around a branch in the opposite corner of its cage, when it bit me, and I was stretching up.
The snake was only about 8 foot long, but I was alone and basically had to tire the snake out. It took me about 30 to 40 minutes to get my hand free, I had no serious damage and didn’t see a doctor.
I too have been very lucky been keeping snakes since 1978 and never been bitten by a venomous snake.
Had some close calls, once sat on a pillow case with two cape cobras in it. I was working with a lot of them in 89, relocating them from army camps to a nature reserve. Lived in Africa till 2000 collected snakes from all over the world. I now live in Taiwan my enthusiasm to keep snakes has waned but I live in the countryside and find snakes all the time, I usually just move them off of the road.
But now and then I find a specimen some venomous some not that just shouts take me home with you.
"once sat on a pillow case with two cape cobras in it" - man, I do hope you thanked your guardian angel afterwards, he sure needed to recover for three days from the stress you caused him ;-)
Truth Seeker for sure. I got such a fright when I realized I had sat on the snakes, I honestly didn’t know if I had got bitten or not. I was in panic mode. Plus it was my ass cheek, with a couple of pimples. I looked in the mirror, and was almost positive I had got bitten.
I turned green I felt so sick. I was in the army and went into the kitchen and asked a cook to keep an eye on me.
I told him if I pass out or start acting crazy, to call an ambulance because I might have been bitten by a cape cobra.
While I was sitting waiting to see if I felt any venomous effects another cook who knew nothing of my predicament walked passed and asked me if I was oK because I looked sick. Almost shat myself when he asked that. Damn scary. I wasn’t bitten, but it was real close.
@@cballantyne1534 I love this story! Due to my vivid imagination I really could see the whole drama before my eyes ROFL. I am really glad that the cobras did not bite you, must have been absolutely terrifying. How did the snakes end up in the pillow case? Some idiot trying to relocate them from the army camp and letting them lying around without warning?
How did snakes end up in an army camp? Where was this-sounds like Africa?
I loved the story time!
THIS IS A MISLEADING VIDEO.
It was a good story keep up the good work from Glasgow Scotland
Thanks so much man I really appreciate it
Pretty cool story mate like to hear more
Thanks so much I will be uploading more on Wednesdays not sure if the next will be this Wednesday or next but they are coming
Thank you for sharing your story fella, great vid, is your intro/warning being said by albert killian??
No although I do hear the resemblance it's said by my mentor Gary the snakeman
😴 That snakebite story was very boring. 😴
Glad you enjoyed
Hey we're the same age!
Cool story
Getting nailed by a large constrictor is not fun. I have experienced this cleaning out an adult
Blood Python cage. Putting the head in water seemed to help, but it was a similiar experience as you described.
Please keep the stories as a feature,I truly enjoyed it
Thank you will do I'm working on one for tomorrow night now
Anaconda bite equals = "tiny little snake bite" 🤣🤣🤣 Oh ya know just an anaconda bite, you know those tiny little snakes 🤣
We ran the snake under cold water and it released immediately. Is it bad to do with cold water? It wasnt our snake or our house and we were there babysitting and my son had been allowed to hold the snake (big python) several times before. Anyhow long story short we didnt know what to do and couldnt get ahold of the owner and it was the only thing that I got to work.
The snake will be fine long term might be a shock at first. But better get it off then leave it on lol
@@venomman20 that was my thought. Thank you.
Anytime thanks for watching
Snakes are not my favorite animal. I was bitten by a copperhead on my left pinkie when I was 18, and the nail has never grown back properly. So I am in awe of a man that can work with creatures of great potential lethality.
Thank goodness the snake wasn't large enough that it could overpower you. That would be a terrible way to go. I'm glad you came out of that ordeal in relatively good shape.
Reticulated pythons can actually be quite bigger than anacondas
Yeah I have kept many of each my biggest being a 21ft tiger retic but the anaconda bite hurts like hell
venomman20 completely understand that lol thanks for noticing me!
I try to respond to everything but I fail quite often thanks for watching
Great story time 🐍 Anaconda bite, yikes.
I own a 3 foot long Yellow Anaconda , he bites me every day and the bites hurt.
Your adventures Should be quite interesting.
I missed a Yellow Anaconda bite by centimetres, but a Cuban Boa got me on the knee. That hurt
LOL funny that you say that a friend of mine got bit in the face by a Cuban boa the other night just glad it wasn't me. And yes I'm fully aware I'm a horrible friend LOL
@@venomman20 thanks for reply. I also did a bit of work with a super chilled out Black Mamba 6ft, i tailed him but i wasnt happy. Mind you the worst one to catch was the sidewinder, took me ages i was worn out!!
When i lacerated the tendon to my thumb it wouldn’t work whatsoever an had to have sury
I liked this one. Keep em coming! I think snakes that like water do *not* like people lol like my snake
Venomman20 I was bit by a juvenile Southern yellow black racer with a mimicking pygmy rattler pattern. I hear you. I told off that juvinile racer for being a jerk, but I knew that when he grew up he would have to kick poisonous snakes butts in Florida.
I was bit on the nose by a racer once lol
I would have loved to see a close up of the scars you got from the bite. Just to add a little bit more content to the story!👍
I have the pics but I don't want to post them and get my video flagged for age restriction if you are on Instagram I will post them there
Just let me know and I'll make sure I get that done
venomman20 just followed you.
Didn’t think something as little as a scar would be too much for youtube🤦♂️.
I hate these kindergarten, overly sensitive platforms 🙄. The scars would be great for educating kids on just what CAN happen when working with these wonderful animals.
I would have loved to see them as a kid myself...anyways, thanks for the reply.
@@zippy0099 with Coppa being in place now and enforced he is right. Most likely get taken down
Good story Brandon ready for the next one stay safe my friend
if you and your ex are are on shaky terms as you suggest, and you gave no indication that you were in any trouble, then it's on you that she didn't arrive quickly enough to be of help. if you were going to trust her to be discreet in helping you out anyway, then there was no reason you couldn't tell her the truth over the phone and ask her not to say anything or raise alarm. seems kinda simple.
No phones allowed everything is threw walkie talkies everyone is on the same channel
I love all of your vids. Thx!
Great story, unfortunately I have a few of those myself being around large reptiles most of my life. Question though, what are those enclosures behind you? They look like dog kennels converted into snake enclosures, am I correct in that assumption? If so, freaking ingenious sir.
Nope not at all those are Joe damkee arboreal cages
hey thats great content
I enjoyed this man thanks bud
Totally understand!!!!!😂
Awesome story
I love to eat too
Xz
You handled the situation well. staying calm and didnt panic in what could have been a really bad sutuation for you. ive had 2ball pythons and happy to say i was never bitten over the years i had them. i got lucky. lol. enjoyed your story. thanks for sharing. 😀
I had the same with my burm and the same happened with my finger lol
I thought you meant your bum got bit!
Which is more dangerous to work with anacondas, rock pythons or reticulated pythons?
That's a good question I might add that to my q and a if you don't mind
@@venomman20 That would be great
