I just looked at your video and enjoyed the tutorial. I have the same Epson 2850 printer. Given the type of printable vinyl HTV you used, which paper type did you choose on the printer and what did you choose on the Cricut?
Hi Pattie, I use the Photo Matte Paper option when printing on printable heat transfer paper. In Cricut Design Space, I use the Printable Iron-On, Dark option.

Hi Alyssa, You have to use printable heat transfer paper. If you have an inkjet printer, this is a good brand of printable heat transfer paper: amzn.to/3RS8tqs
Thank you Latrice!! I found a source online that says it's compatible with 100% cotton, polyester/cotton blends, and 100% polyester. Before doing the 100% polyester, I recommend testing a small piece on the inside of the shirt.
My cricut is not cutting it is brand new and they even gave me another one to see it was something wrong. I keep getting error message saying can't read what to cut. I have tried everything

Hi Nancy, If you're creating this for yourself you won't have to worry about trademark issues, but if you intend to sell shirts with cartoon characters or other copyrighted material, you will have to worry about trademark issues.
Thanks for responding. I spend a lot on graphic tees and hoodies so this is something that I've been thinking about investing in for a couple of years. Until now I hadn't seen a how to video for multicolored prints so I figured it wasn't doable at home. Thank you again for making this possible for me.
@@Bod2600 You're welcome. You may want to also look into sublimation. I haven't ventured into sublimation yet, but it is popular for creating graphic shirts.
I'll look into it. Ok so I'm leaning towards the: Epson Echotank 2850 Cricut EasyPress 3 12x10 StarCraft Printable Heat Transfer (50 pk) What else will I need to create my studio? What do you suggest for the paper studio mat and parchment paper? I don't recall you saying any makers.
@@Bod2600 I think that’s all you need to start out with. The parchment paper comes with the StarCraft Printable inkjet transfer sheets and I use PaperStudio mats because they are inexpensive. One thing to be aware of is that Cricut won’t let you print on the entire 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. Cricut only allows to print then cut 6.75 in x 9.25 in OR 9.25 in x 6.75 in. help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009429814-Design-Space-says-printable-image-is-too-large
Hello, I understand that showing the actual cutting of the image is an essential part of viewers understanding how to make a print then cut shirt. With each video that I make, I try to improve and therefore looking back on this video, there are definitely a few things that could have been improved. Thank you!! The shirt lasts a very long time. With white shirts, do not bleach them or the design will turn yellow.
I am really confused why you printed around 6:38 then printed again? I'm lost lol

Does your ink jet printer use a special ink or just regular ink jet cartridges?
