Finally. I was actually in the market for a new cutter just because of this issue with Cricut. Now i can honestly say i may stick with them a little longer.
Thank you for not only showing us the. New Print then Cut. Features,BUT showing us a project that demonstrates why and how we can utilize this awesome update!!
I am so excited for this I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but just watching you make me order some more paper and I think I’m just gonna go crazy with it now the designs can actually be bigger. I love it.
SOOOO exciting and about time. I felt like I bought into the wrong machine because of their limiting the feature. This is way cool. I was just researching other machines. LOL The shirt turned out awesome! Absolutely love it! I'm going to try some of that clear htv sub vinyl. 👍👍
Thank you so much - you did a great job explaining everything! This was exactly the info I was looking for. I have the same Epson printer, Cricut maker and just started sublimation printing so I really appreciate all your help!
🎉Yay! Thank you so much for shouting out the news...I had no idea. 💞 I also had no idea of your channel. I love to follow people that explain step by step with a personality. Thanks for all you do.
I don't have the Cricut, I'm a Brother Scan n Cut fan, but do find their software easy to use. My only 2 issues were the size of the design, the limitation and the fact that you can't access your designs out side of Cricut, even the ones that are yours and not Cricut. Its great that the first issue has been resolved. I'll have to try it this weekend. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your clear and concise tutorial, and I'm excited not only for the larger print then cut, but for the use of clear HTV on a cotton shirt. I have noted your channel and I'll be looking at another one you have from 5 months ago with DTF adhesive powder.
😲 F I N A L L Y!!!! THEY LISTENED TO US!!! IT WAS ABOUT TIME 👍👍 AWESOME tutorial step by step THANK YOU 😊 ALSO THANK You For the update on cricut I stopped using my cricut cause not giving us more space for our images/projects for print and cut.
So glad Cricut has done this! I was getting frustrated with wasting so much space on a piece of 8.5 x 11. Especially when I have been using a satin photo paper which is VERY expensive. Two questions - 1) can you switch back to the live version after you have chosen Beta to check it out and 2) what is the version number of the Beta version? I know that until Cricut actually does the automatic update to our software, there could be some glitches to be dealt with and I don't want to get locked into that if I can avoid it.
One thing you can say about Cricut, they do seem to listen to us. It may take awhile, but it eventually happens. It makes me almost cry to think about all of that black ink we've wasted over the years on their stupid registration boxes instead of registration marks.
Hello Patrice. I am doing my happy dance over and over again. This is absolutely a game changer. I have always struggled with having to use multiple software programs to print & cut. I am just over joyed that cricut got on board. I went to my settings and it won't allow me to click on Beta. For my paper sizes it only shows 2 sizes. 8.3 X 11.7 and 8.5 x 11. Additionally my color boxes aren't showing. I can click on the space and a color will show up. I am afraid to use the reload button thinking this will clear all of my saved designs. I am going to call cricut. Love your video as always. I learned about Circuit's new larger print and cut and how to use transparent HTV.. Thank you so much for sharing.
Oh my goodness, this is amazing. I have 2 Epson XP-960 printers that can print 11x17 sheets. I’ve been waiting and waiting haha. Thank you for telling us. Have a great day.
Thank you so much for this exciting news. I’ve been looking for video using clear htv sublimation for some time now. Thanks for the clear and detailed explanation. Great video.
Thank you! I'm about to buy a bunch of stuff that's cricut and a cricut explorer 3 from a friend and use it for my kids but mostly for my husband and my business I'm an esthetician and my husband is a mobile welder. I wanted to make a car magnet for my vehicle 🖤
Hello, Thanks for this incredible news from Cricut Design Space. Now I just need to get a printer that can use larger size paper. My current model only prints to 8.5 x 11. Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things with continued good health.
Hi Patrice .. thanks for this .. I've been thinking of doing sublimation printing, can you please explain the purpose of the clear vinyl. I thought the sublimation paper or vinyl would be the only thing needed to press on the shirts.
Hello, I was looking through the comments and wanted to reply to your question. Sublimation printing works 100% on polyester fabric or blended polyester. The reason she is using the clear vinyl is because sublimation doesn’t work with cotton but using the vinyl as a base and sublimating onto the vinyl works. Hope that answers your question.
I’m new to the hobby! I tried to follow along with you for when setting the beta option in Cricut but it would not hold. My material size only shows the two options, not the drop down options you have. Do you think this is something I should call the help desk for? Brand new machine, first project with the Explore 2
Hallelujah 🎊 🎉😮💃🏽👍🏽I’m ecstatic!!! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 So two questions… You were using copy paper for sublimation print? And what setting did you use for the clear htv? Thanks for the tutorial.🥰
Thank you!! I do have a question… why did we have to use clear HTV with the sublimation printer paper? Is the sublimation paper you used not able to transfer via heat press without clear HTV paper? I have a Cricut Maker 3 also and looking into a sublimation printer so very new to this world… I just thought the sublimation paper was able to be heat transferred???
I have a Cricket Maker had it two Christmas ago still in the box lmbo. So I’m looking how I start from the beginning. I Subscribe you so I can learn this. Thank You
@Craftable Things Sorry, I meant showing your computer to share those steps the same way you showed how to prep the print then cut. You made a duplicate but did not show the steps prior to cutting. Would be helpful for someone who is just starting out.
@@chalottacox5898 I made sure to cover that. Try the 8 minute mark, where I show it in Cricut Design space. I showed duplicating it in CDS . I explained why and I showed how to turn it into a cut file. I did not show sending it to the Cricut as I showed sending the print file to Cricut. In addition, I advised cut settings and how to place it on the mat. Honestly, this isn't a project for someone just starting out.
I have a question, why do you have to use the clear vinyl behind the sublimation design? After a sublimation image is printed, I thought you could directly press it onto the shirt. I'm not new to Cricut, but I am obviously new to sublimation. Thank you so much for this informative video!
I am new to the circuit world. Ok so if I am wanting to make a shirt with a persons picture for example how would I go about doing this.? Please help. And any other tips would be great.
Good evening. I have an image I purchased off of Etsy. When I upload into Cricut it does not give the option to just cut nor does the duplicated image change to a cut only. I have to do an offset. Would you happen to know why this happens
Finally. I was actually in the market for a new cutter just because of this issue with Cricut. Now i can honestly say i may stick with them a little longer.
Me, too! I was going to get the 24inch Silhouette, but I'm going to hold off now!
Omg I was as well! Finally! Glad we waited!
Thank you for not only showing us the. New Print then Cut. Features,BUT showing us a project that demonstrates why and how we can utilize this awesome update!!
Yes! I have been sublimating and not really using the Cricut- this is a game changer and a welcome option!!
same!
I have been using word and having most difficult time to make settings work. This update looks like it will work! Thanks !
Thank God!!! It's about time.. that was Cricut's biggest flaw.
Facts
Still flawed and they still don’t let you use the page to its full potential 😂 but bigger which is cool.
AMAZING JOB. I enjoyed the video 💜💜
@@thehouseoflosiExactly! Still flawed! A 10x10 image is still TOO BIG for a 11x17 paper! 😒
I am so glad that I found this video! Because I had no idea at all that Cricut had changed it. Thank you!!!
I am so excited. My mind is blown. This is the best thing to happen to all of us. I am glad.
You are amazing!!! I've watched thousands of videos since I got my cricut and you are an excellent teacher!!!

They need to change it for the cut files also, pay all that money on a maker for it to have limits on it

Thank you so much for going straight to the point and not like other videos confusing people. ❤
I am VERY excited and it's about time! Haven't had the opportunity to use it yet but still happy to be able to cut larger designs. Thanks for sharing.
I did a cut only file today and that was still limited for me so i guess maybe it’s only the print n cut that was modified
I’m elated. We’ve waited a long time for this Cricut upgrade. Definitely a game changer. Thanks for sharing and God bless…

I’ve been waiting for you. You are an amazing teacher. Now I feel like I have the confidence to do it with your complete instructions. Thank you
I am super excited. I only wish that this happened prior to me buying a Starcraft Solo.

Great video! Thank you for sharing.
I'm so glad. I was holding out from buying the Juliette. I knew cricut had no choice but to level up after these new players entered the market
Wow!!! Finally!! This was one thing I didn't like about Cricut!! Wish I knew that last night when I had to print and cut! 😮
It's full time now they approve print then cut from android devices. Extremely excited haven't used it yet

Thank you as always sis for continuing to educate us!
New to Cricut - you are an amazing teacher! Beautiful shirt!
Thank you so much for showing us. I am so excited to do this. Your shirt turned out beautiful.
❤. I’m increasing my knowledge about cricut. Your video is so helpful.

@@ransak3666 Thank you for responding. Yes it does answer my question.
Thank you so much for sharing this information….You address every question that I had 😊
Glad it was helpful!
I Just saw this!! Right FINALLLLLLLYYY!!
How are you doing the big images when Crichton Layers won't let you go over a certain size the paper size don't matter it won't let you go over
Which side to lay to cut your image on? Do the shinning side go face down or the matte side goes down on the mat?
Shinny side goes down when cutting htv, and shiny side up when using permanent vinyl. Hope this helps

Thanks for your tutorial. Can’t wait to get off work and try it!!!! Have a great weekend!!!!
Thanks you so much. I'm going home to try it out...what took them so long I Purchased a extra machines just to do large prints
Hi, Can this be done on a Cricut Air 2 as well or only your model.
Thank you, great video
Yes, it can & thank you!
I just tried it on my air 2. No I’m disappointed
I just tried on my explorer air 2. I only seen the same paper size
Sooooo excited this changes the game , an I was doing print then cut on Saturday an I noticed something different but I didn’t know that’s what it was
SUPER EXCITED!!! Gonna try with DTF/sublimation hack as well!!!
Well done on explaining things! I appreciate you; there is so much verbiage that can sound the same.
I'M SUPER EXCITED, I LOVE YOUR SHIRT, NOW I HAVE TO BUY BIGGER SIZE PAPER.
Very nice! How does this technique wash?
Do you use a specific ink and paper for the printer ?
I use an ink that I sell (Dyenamic Ink) - it’s in my Etsy. I used different paper brands. Mostly A-Sub and Honestly Spinking.
Would it help with cutting by placing a small offset on the image? This might help with the intricate parts. 😊
Hi there, first time visitor here. Thank you so much for sharing this
Thank you! Do you mirror the basic cut.
Hallelujah 🎊 🎉😮💃🏽👍🏽I’m ecstatic!!! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
So two questions… You were using copy paper for sublimation print? And what setting did you use for the clear htv?
Thanks for the tutorial.🥰
Thank you!! I do have a question… why did we have to use clear HTV with the sublimation printer paper? Is the sublimation paper you used not able to transfer via heat press without clear HTV paper?
I have a Cricut Maker 3 also and looking into a sublimation printer so very new to this world… I just thought the sublimation paper was able to be heat transferred???
Yes I was telling y'all that in the live last night
Awesomeness!!! It’s about time! I was wondering if you have used the clear htv before and if you’ve done a wash test
Thank you, Patrice!
Thank you so much for this tutorial!!!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🥰
Definitely dusted mine off yesterday! What was the brand of that shirt again, I like that!
ha!!! Bella Canvas
@@CraftableThings Thank you! We're going to have to wait another 100 years for those additional two inches on the width & height LOL!
May take Cricut forever to add those additional paper sizes but right now- I will happily take the additional options- yay!!
I am so excited about the new feature thanks for sharing
Awesome, I would never have bought the Procolored machine I got the Maker 3 and the StarCraft Solo….this is a real game changer
Did you have to let the sublimation ink dry or cure it?
Thank you lord it’s about time. Thank you
Thank you! I really needed this one!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you … awesome tutorial 👏🏻🤩👍🏻
Thanks Patrice..... enjoyed the video
I have a Cricket Maker had it two Christmas ago still in the box lmbo. So I’m looking how I start from the beginning. I Subscribe you so I can learn this. Thank You
Great video! Was hoping that you would show how you cut the HTV in Cricut and the settings.
Around the 19 minute mark, I covered that. Thanks for watching.
@Craftable Things Sorry, I meant showing your computer to share those steps the same way you showed how to prep the print then cut. You made a duplicate but did not show the steps prior to cutting. Would be helpful for someone who is just starting out.

Because this is going on a cotton shirt. Sublimation requires polyester based shirts.
So you don't have to calibrate it before you cut it ?
I don't calibrate it every time before I cut. That is good practice, though 💕
Oh ok thank you
I'm so excited 💜 😊 🤗
I’ve never tried heat transfer warehouse I will have to give them a try
Very beautiful transfer
I am so excited about the upgrade will be using it soon. Is there a link for the printer that you use? I love watching your videos!
What kind of printer are using? Any recommendations?
Yay!!! Can you tell me again what HTV you used! I’m excited about the updates!!! I’m ready to start sublimating audio!!!
Do you have to go back and change your settings when your done?
Hello I’m new to your channel can I do this without a sublation? That’s my next step to start subletting.
Welcome and yes, you can you transfer paper or any other type of product like that which doesn’t require sublimation.
Thank you.
Thank you for presenting this great news!!!!! Yay!!!!!
Thank you, this is very helpful!
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 can you use this large sizing width print to vinyl with the ink jet and cricut???
I am new to the circuit world. Ok so if I am wanting to make a shirt with a persons picture for example how would I go about doing this.? Please help. And any other tips would be great.
What printer is used in the larger format printers??
FINALLY! Thank you for the video!
Yeaaaaaaaaah. I was just getting ready to buy another machine.🙏
I have a Cricut explorer air 2 I tried to do this it’s not working for me . Do I need to purchase a explorer 3 for this?
Yay! Thank you so much for your video.
What eco tank printer do you use ?
She said Eco Tank 1500
can this be done on a black Shirt?
Only if you use a white htv that can be subbed?

This video helped me out sm :) Thank you!!
Glad it helped!
Gm can cricut 2 do the same or do I need to get a 3?
Why did you use the clear sublimation vinyl you could have just sublimated to the shirt?
I couldn’t have just sublimated the shirt. It is 100% cotton.
nicccce thanks for sharing Greatly appreciate you !!!!!!! always on time !!!!!!!!
Can I do this on a regular cricut maker? I don’t have a maker 3
Yes
Are you using the vinyl because the shirt is cotton?
Yes!
Does it feel as thick as HTV? I’ve been hesitant to try this bc of that
