- Hey whats up guys?! Back again, this time we are working on a 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan. This vehicle has a 2.0T engine. The customer complaint is a check engine light with no drive ability issues. Follow me and lets see what we find. I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!

My 2012 Jetta S with 2.0 engine has had P0444 for over 2 years now. Changed the valve with no testing and cleared the code. It came right back. Changed the gas cap and checked wiring at the valve and found nothing wrong. What might be the problem? No other codes.
Goodmorning my bro right now I am working on land rover freelander 2005 with no spark no injector pulse change crank sensor and Cam sensor still no spark or injector pulse showing the 5v reference form computer so just don't know so scanner danner give me you link just asking for help thanks bro

i have a 2002 vw beetle i cranked car air was cold then it went warm and sound like the air compressor is humming tried to recharge with freon did not work at all need help it is hot hot with no air checked fuses they was good

Hey love your videos man. But how can you find the basic settings test IDs ? Now you might say in service info... but where in the the service info? I use Alldata and identifix. Please I need to know.

I used to get the readiness monitor charts from vw service info. I’m not sure they are available anymore. But I learned some of the channels from that. There might be some info on Ross tech wiki website.

I got a p0332 knock s 2, how can i check my knock s with my launch x-435 diagun IV, i replaced the sensor n still getting the code very intermittent i loose power when i accel for a few secs then comes back. Thnks Lopez.

You might need odis (factory scantool). I do not know if the autel will be able to do that function
is there a chart for all the channels. how do you know channel 71 is evap. thanks

Nope. When I get a screen recorder on my verus I will switch back and forth between the tools depending on what functions I need.

Positive Lead Diagnostics have you tried a launch? Think they’re similar. I’m looking for something to go with my Verus edge which is still my main tool and I think is great other than usual snap on costs.

Can you tell me the location of the transmission control module on a 2008 Volkswagen GTI 2.0t? I literally cannot find it for this vehicle on any of the data available to me and I do not feel like buying an FSM just to figure out where they put the stupid thing. I am currently rebuilding the engine due to a timing chain tensioner that broke (seperate issue). You probably can guess what happened from there. But this is a car I had looked at for a family memeber before this that had lost communication to the TCM right before the motor blew. I was going to fix it before this but didn't have the chance. I took the car off his hands and am going to flip it since he got another car and it was for next to nothing. Not my normal business, I usually work as a mobile technician but I saw profit here. There was also a P420 which I will deal with later. That's easy enough to diagnose. I just need to find the TCM so I can do an actual diagnosis on the wiring when the engine is finished. I can tell it isn't in the engine bay considering I removed literally every piece of it and haven't found it. I found it easier to remove the engine and transmission as a whole. Do you know where I can find it?
Is it a dsg transmission? If it is, it is located in the transmission. Basically the mechatronics unit is the tcm. Do all your checks at the barrel connector on the transmission

Yes on this vehicle the purge valve was stuck open
how did you know test 71 ? service information ?
Yeah. The older vws had readiness charts that you could use to set the monitors after repairs for emissions.
