- The plaintiff says the defendant is her sister, who worked as a stripper. The plaintiff claims her sister began leaving her rude and racist voicemails after her son died, and she’s suing her for emotional distress. The defendant says the plaintiff is a cocaine-addicted alcoholic who didn’t even raise her own son. She’s countersuing for emotional distress.

That’s the downfall of being an alpha. You get knocked down sometimes despite all your work to herd your family in the right direction. Free-speech does not actually protect you when spewing racial slurs. The first amendment gives us the right to critique our government without retaliation. What was said was hate speech and you actually can face consequences for that.

1) Calls to violence
2) Speech that exorts criminal activity (trying to find someone to commit a crime for you)

8) and obscenity (i suppose you could try and argue it under obscenity but i havent heard of rulings on that yet. To try something in court you have to prove there was a damaged party. And words no matter how ignorant are not violence and you couldnt prove a "damage" and thus would lack sufficient grounds to sue.)

i lost my father when i was 6 years old. i am now almost 19 and while i can talk about him without tearing up, it doesn’t mean i’m not still sad and in a way i am still somewhat grieving. so i understand why the plaintiff probably didn’t tear up but who knows she could have been starting to since her voice was getting a bit shaky. also you don’t say racist things on accident, it’s always on purpose. and the fact the defendant was trying to intimidate the plaintiff half way through when she was talking about her side just shows she’s guilty. guilt shows in a lot of different ways that not a lot of people know about or really think about. also the defendant says the plaintiff is the one addicted to drugs and alcohol but i can see it in her eyes. i can hear it in her voice. she’s not sober.
