- Amid historic flooding in North Carolina from the remnants from Hurricane Helene, FEMA administrator Deanne Criswell tells "Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan" that "I don't know that anybody could be fully prepared for the amount of flooding and landslides that they are experiencing right now."

As someone who lives in the UK I could not imagine having these kinds of storms every year. We are just turning off our last coal power plant, I hope the world wakes up quick and starts putting saftey over greed.

@@jaygunny8402Which planet have you been living in? Super Hurricanes like Helene have NOT always been around. I live in the most Typhoon-hit country in the world and Cat 3 cyclones were Extremely RARE just 30 or 40 years ago, let alone Cat 4 or Cat 5. Before atmospheric carbon levels were this high, we would get Cat 2 storms at the most, anywhere in the world.
@@Ryan_Christopher this is why people like u need to top watching the news u only repeat what u hear. From 1851-2023 there have been 28 cat 4 hurricanes that made land in the US. From 2001-2023 there have been only 5 cat 4 hurricanes that hit the US. This averages to about 1 cat 4 per decade, do your own research and stop being a parrot
