These reactions.. grown adults.. men and women alike, crying in utter joy, for a character is a beautiful thing. This duo is truly the best cinema has ever given us. better than Laurel and Hardy, Better than Abbot and Costello, better than Batman and Robin... the list goes on. No other Duo or character in general promotes such a passionate response. These people are truly ecstatic and happy to the utmost with the treatment Luke was given with this cameo.
Not gonna lie.. i cried tears of joy too. When i first seen that x-wing appear i was like... "no man, do not give me hope just to crush it. That is cruel dude. Especially after the last trilogy." Then I seen the guy in black walk down the hall... and i was like.. "no way... could it be? Will they really bring him back properly this time?" I was still in shock lol. Then i seen the black glove and green sabre. The emotions built up over decades, waiting for Luke's arrival came to a head. Then he said that Grogu was asking permission to leave... I lost it again... Then R2 strolls in like.. "hey guys... what's going on?... WHOAH!!! I thought Yoda was dead, and taller".... anyways it was a roller coaster of emotions. Madness right there. Again, at least she is into sharing her husbands passion and such.
*darktroopers are so OP
Luke: "and I took it personally"
Mando: almost dies to 1 dark trooper
Luke: *what’s a dark trooper*
Sure didn't make any difference to his lightsaber. Speaking of which, Mando would have done better than he did earlier if he'd had the sense to use the darksaber this time. I don't mean that he could have waded through them like Luke did (even Ahsoka couldn't have done that), but killing them specifically would have been no problem at all. He just couldn't take too many blasts and couldn't allow them to grab him, but with great effort and some diversionary attacks, ultimately he might have prevailed. Luke, though, was like his father as Darth Vader. Taking out those dark troopers were "all too easy" for him--just a light warmup rather than a real fight. It's no wonder that the others were afraid of him. Maybe they had heard about Sith Lords and weren't keen on facing one. :)
Well mando doesn't have a light saber or the force, so it makes sense. He basically fought the thing with a broom stick compared to a light saber😂
@@staticxgames2495 Mando had the darksaber later on, though. Yet when cornered by the dark troopers, he raised his little pistol at the weakening blast doors in self-defense. If I were in his place, I would have activated the darksaber and gotten ready to start slicing up dark troopers as soon as any of their body parts got through the doors. I would also have given the beskar staff/spear to someone else to do some additional damage at the same time. The good guys weren't 100% doomed without Luke, as many seem to think, because at least Mando had the darksaber--there was always some hope of escaping this death trap.
But of course Mando "forgot" about the darksaber because the director wanted the viewers to forget about it, making the situation seem absolutely hopeless (when it really wasn't--very, very bad but not hopeless).

@@TheLordofDarkness1995 Here’s the thing, you have to know what a “true Star Wars fan” is. I do believe that people shouldn’t just blindly accept everything in Star Wars. It wouldn’t make sense since there are things that will ruin what you do like and things that didn’t have to be ruined. The sequels are good example of that. It ruins the story of the first two trilogies yet it rehashes pretty much everything in the OT. However, there are Star Wars fans who complain about anything and I don’t see them as true fans either. Anyway ... I won't forgive Disney until they decanonise those pieces of trash they called "sequels" ... all of them ... that's not my Luke, this one is ...
Kennedy planned the character assassination of Luke from the get-go.
I am not even a hardcore long time fan and my reaction was more insane than most of them ....
I was losing it ......
I think that is so amazing! I showed this to my mom (who doesn't even watch the show) and she was bawling! This just goes to show how powerful the scene is, that even casual fans are crying from it!
@@katiecooper1387 Yeah I mean I saw all the movies but havent seen the animated shows and havent read the comics but I have become obsessed with Star Wars because of the sequel trillogy which also introduced me to the world ......
Same. After seeing the darksaber in The Mandalorian season 1 finale, I dived into Star Wars research by watching Clone Wars, Rebels, rewatched the OGs & Prequels so I was prepared for season 2.
You see, Disney, KK and the sequel trilogy. THIS is how you do Star Wars. 41 minutes had more heart, more action, more interesting characters than 6 hours of movies. And an animatronic adorable little green creature made me cry when he touched his father's face. I'm not afraid to admit it.
The one bloke 'the voice is really good' yeah that would be because it's actually Mark Hamill 🤣
These last few episodes were the greatest bit of star wars ever written. I cried bro, little a kid, thank you Dave Feloni and your amazing cast and crew for giving us back star wars.
Definitelly the best show of 2020 and one of the best shows of the 21st century.
All these reactions, this is what the sequels should have given us the whole time. Shame on you Rian Johnson. Shame on you JJ Abrams. THIS is what Luke Skywalker means to the Star Wars franchise, THIS right here. And you turned him into an angry, bitter, hurtful old man.
Thank you Jon Favreau, thank you Dave Filloni for making us all feel like kids watching Star Wars again. Thank YOU.
The mandalorian made me feel like a kid again
I swear I could literally hear a lot of heartbeats of excitements coming from all these people the moment the X-Wing arrives and the cams showing a Jedi slaying those Dark Troopers.
The second they show the lightsaber is green, every Star Wars fans straight up turn back into a kid.
You see that rian Johnson, that’s the luke everyone wanted.
The Mandalorian Chapter 16: 100%
Chance of Precipitation.
Rian Johnson: that subverted my expectations.
The British guy’s reaction when Luke took off his hood was my reaction to the face cgi. Best work they’ve done with that tech right there in that shot.
That was a perfect elite ending to this episode. STAR WARS WORLD!!! I LOVE YOU. MAY THE FORCE BE WITH US ALL!!...... ALWAYS!
Omg I cried so much too😭😭😭😭😭
5:19 - *that's literally me in the morning crying that someone drank all the orange juice.*
Hes crying was so cringey
The like we all wanted we get, the cool confident, powerful luke with powers on display.
Thank you Obi wan Filoni, you’re our only hope
I truly believe R2s appearance was intentionally timed perfectly. Jin removes his helmet, he cries, we all cry, we begin to sob. Beep beep whirra bee beep.
It was therapeutic to say the least.
The moment when I saw X wing and then Luke appeared and the epic background music stared i felt the Force and
Started crying and Still crying 😭😭😭
Can everyone now agree what a hot pile of garbage Kathleen Kennedy has done with her "vision" (and JJ and Rian, by the way)? Now we have a good comparison as to what Star Wars can really be like. Now THAT is a universal Myth.
Anyone who doesn't agree with you does not understand your brilliantly expressed insight.
Hey misogynistic loser, you know that Kathleen is also the producer of this show? Everything passes her desk before Jon and Dave film it.
@@susn1987 She doesn’t have shit to do with running this show. This is all Dave and Jon’s work fixing this fucked franchise after what she and the team that made the sequels did.
@@susn1987 this has nothing to do with being “misogynist” you imbecile. Facts are facts, Dave and Jon have single handedly restored Star-Wars back to the myth that it once was prior to Kathleen and JJ and Rian getting their fucking hands on it.
@@susn1987 She is producer in name but had no large influence. All of this is thanks to F & F.
How much does this show how much starwars means to us fans,We shed tears,we finally got a Luke we wanted to see and it wasnt over done or over used yet showed his powers. After all Disney put out.Fans got what we wanted in the Mandalorian. Thank you
I don’t cry over many shows or movies, but god damn it, the ending when Grogu is touching Din’s helmet, and he takes it off and starts crying...well that got to me, twice! I just had to watch it a second time and it resulted the same way! Such a great character development, going from a cold bounty hunter to a father figure, excellent work to Jon Favreau and the writers and producers!
"The guy that trained Anakin."
Uhh
Visible Confusion
Probably panicked in the excitement
10:24 mans really high fived himself
I am 60 years old and a huge fan on Star Wars since the beginning in the 70s. Thank you Mandalorian and all it's creators! This was a gift fans needed so much! I cried too on this episode. Love all these content creators and seen many of these reactions.
I've honestly been enjoying watching all the reactions almost as much as the episode itself.
