Luke Skywalker coming back like that was EPIC asf and this was definitely one of the most emotional finale's ever. Kudos to everyone involved for creating this world and getting us invested in these characters.
It’s crazy how we only saw mando’s face like 2 times the whole show , yet the actor has been one of the bigger movie stars ever since the show came out . He went from this , to Wonder Woman 2, to a movie with nic cage , to a show adaptation of one of the biggest and best games (last of us )
Well, the actor wasn't on set but a couple of times really. He just did the voice over, which he could do anywhere in the world. Brendan Wayne is the man in the suit most of the time. Lateef Crowder is the one doing the fighting and stunt work in the suit.
When i was watching this finale with my kids, i looked at them and was like ‘im glad you arent jedis’. This show still punches, even now. Lets go season 3!
Struggle Soldier...your reactions were worth the wait. Righteous! M-Dogg...you have been an excellent steward to S. Soldier...great job, well done! ✨So damn glad to be a subscriber to the Nation.✨
One of the prevailing theories to why Grogu almost looked happy to see R2D2 is that R2 alongside Jocasta Nu aka 'the Librarian' helped Grogu and a few other younglings escape the Jedi Temple during order 66.
Yup watching u guys react to this ! It still hits HARD . I remember it was 3 am when this first aired I was. All tears not only it was the hard goodbye but it was the tears of Joy seeing Luke in his prime ! Soooo good
@Struggle Worth it.....worth all t he time it took to see you Mdog and Joe react to this :) and @Joe you are a stronger man then me Sir as I cried many many tears at the amazing ending.
Mando s2 finale is honestly still the best out of all the star wars finales imo. Well see what Andor does but honestly nothing beats luke just saving the day & taking grogu.
Thanks for your response, love it! There is so much to discover in your channel, but I always come back to these honest & beautiful moments! All the best from Germany!
It could have been if disney kept Kennedys leash short and said leave star wars the fuck alone it had a better story before she shoehorned in alot of bullshit like the mighty morphen color scooters.
There are 2 kinds of people in this world. Those that freak out when they see the one glove or the belt buckle or the green saber...or those that freak out when he pulls back the hood.
19:05 "Hey Luke, are we blasting off or what? I'm getting some real Death Star vibes in here." "Hi! I'm Grogu." "Artoo-Deetoo. Astromech, kid." "Are you a droid?" "Kid, I'm THE droid." "Wow." "Darn right, wow."
Y'all should check out Firefly and its feature film Serenity. Mandolorian seems to take heavily from it. From the Razorcrest being very much like Serenity, to having the very western vibes and using more than a few of the same lines. To even having a character sought after by the government like Grogu. Talk about great characters, no-one writes better characters than Joss Whedon.
I don't really care if RLM call it "fan service"... Those final scenes make me tear up so much it's as though Disney hit me in the balls with a sledgehammer
I can explain so Bo’s ego and pride wont have her take the Saber again because she took it willingly from Sabine and lost it. In this sense she doesnt wanna make the same mistake twice or third time.
Guys Mark Hamill aka Luke Skywalker was contacted by creators of Mandalorian, Jon and Dave to be in the series months prior to this episode. Like Empire Strikes Back, Mark held the "secret" of "young Luke" appearance. Special effects crew has software to superimposed or deepfake of young Mark Hamill's face on another actor's face with similar body to Hamill's. Mark overdubbed the vocals in the episode.
When the Empire destroyed Alderaan, they did not silence the dissent from that nonviolent world. They instead amplified it as the surviving people cried out for vengeance, justice, and freedom. There was no fence to sit on anymore, and the Empire had shown its true colors of tyranny and slaughter.
I liked The Last Jedi, it was a good story about how Luke has become jaded with the force and fears the dark side so much after how close he came to falling in RotJ he gives up on all of it. It was a story the *could* have been told not the story that *should* have been told. To go from Luke's ultimate hero moment, tossing his saber down in defiance of the Emperor to him as an older man tossing the saber aside as a 'joke' was too jaring, we wanted to see THIS Luke, 10 years deep. People wanted Luke Skywalker, Jedi Master.
Yo, struggle had the same reaction I did to Luke pulling up! And I knew The Book of Bobba Fett was gonna be dope off the strength of the post credit scene alone!
Millions of grown men wept happy tears at that episode's conclusion. We thought, "Well, it would be amazing if it's Luke Skywalker coming to save Grogu, but there's no way they could do that so it must be somebody else, like Ezra". Then they start dropping the clues... X-Wing...single lightsaber...glove on right hand... GREEN lightsaber! Then the reveal... WOW! One of the best moments in Star Wars in over 10 years, easily.
People were so hyped for Luke that the Mando/Grogu was kind of glossed over so I loved your tears. I didn’t lose it until Mando said “Don’t be afraid” You guys do know the actress who plays Fennic is 58 years old…right?
If you had told me what they planned with this series, on paper, I would have said it was ridiculous nonsense. But Grogu really worked, despite what anyone would have thought going in. That's what separates the great story tellers from the rest, knowing what will work.
if y'all are feeling this soundtrack you can get both seasons on vinyl. I'm waiting to hear some DJ do some fire ass shit with that cowboy opening track
Love watching you guys react! Make sure you watch Boba Fett Season 1 bc that is basically Mandalorian Season 3. If you don’t watch it before Mando season 3 you guys will be lost.
Completely agree that Ming-Na Wen is very attractive, but the mind melting revelation to me is that she is 59 years old. Ageing that well is just absurd.

Thanks Drax. For the hard work that you do.
man, struggle soldier's reaction at the end made me cry all over again. 😭
It's almost inevitable not to, especially watching someone's first reaction at the same time. Such a great moment
that single tear acting right there
Luke Skywalker coming back like that was EPIC asf and this was definitely one of the most emotional finale's ever. Kudos to everyone involved for creating this world and getting us invested in these characters.
@@SwiftJustice Some did, but the caveat is that I could count them on one hand.
@@SwiftJustice it's like seeing the sun rise from the west. It's possible, but the probability... The entire time I KNEW it was Luke, there was doubt.

LoU is a tv show if you didnt know
Pedro is awesome.
Well, the actor wasn't on set but a couple of times really. He just did the voice over, which he could do anywhere in the world. Brendan Wayne is the man in the suit most of the time. Lateef Crowder is the one doing the fighting and stunt work in the suit.
3 times, actually. Once in season 1, and twice in season 2.
He was great in Narcos, too
You both have a lot of empathy- that‘s why I love your reactions so much ❤
When i was watching this finale with my kids, i looked at them and was like ‘im glad you arent jedis’. This show still punches, even now. Lets go season 3!
Bro that was the manliest single tear I’ve ever seen in my life
Struggle Soldier...your reactions were worth the wait. Righteous!

✨So damn glad to be a subscriber to the Nation.✨
Their reactions are testimony to the astounding abilities of Dave Filoni and Jon Faverau’ s ability to tell a great story everyone can relate
I cried like a little bi*ch during this episode. And I'll do it again!🤣🤣🤣
Been watching you guys for a while. You're some some of the best! Just wanted to say thanks!
One of the prevailing theories to why Grogu almost looked happy to see R2D2 is that R2 alongside Jocasta Nu aka 'the Librarian' helped Grogu and a few other younglings escape the Jedi Temple during order 66.
Still... Nothing hits harder than The Mandalorian season 2 ending ! Keep up the great work fam 👍🏿
Just the amount of respect and love din has for grogu to take off his mask gets me every time
This was a amazing episode. You get a lil bit of everything here. Seeing Luke was amazing
Such a great finale of a great season. I hope they can make season 3 as good.
This finale was so emotional, and it absolutely needed the post-credit scene with Boba and Fennec... we were all crying with you.
Man the Luke reaction was amazing but the tear when mando removed his helmet was epic.
This episode had me screaming and by the end, I cried, And even watching it for the second time brings tears to my eyes.😭😭
A main character whos face was almost never shown, a puppet and a character from 40 yrs ago ...and you got me crying. Crazy crazy show
Great stuff!! Struggle Soldier getting all emotional was top notch.
I cried like a baby when I realized who the Jedi was. Oh man what a moment. Loved yalls reaction!!!
No matter how many times I see this, I still get chills everytime.
I loved how the season finale included Luke having his Vader scene from rogue one when he was destroying the rebels, father like son!!!
It's been great glad that Joe was able to enjoy and catch up with the Mandalorian for Season 3 been here since day 1!
Yup watching u guys react to this ! It still hits HARD . I remember it was 3 am when this first aired I was. All tears not only it was the hard goodbye but it was the tears of Joy seeing Luke in his prime ! Soooo good
Manly tears were shed.
11:19 "Termini...@s" I'm crying with laughter
Amazing and emotional finale omg fellas 😢
Can you imagine these two fellas in the SW universe? It would be fun! Like they could be Tag and Binks!
Even now, I still cry over this finale. So well done.
Glad to see this episode hit you guys the way it hit me too ... still hits me

It’s okay cause we all cried ❤️❤️❤️🐾
This Finale..... Everything the world was crying out for.
That ending was emotional 😌
It's okay -- even after all this time, I still cry at the end of this episode. Filoni & Favro did what they set out to do.
These guys are awesome! They actually give legit reviews and are fans!
11:10 that quick edit had me laughing for 5 minutes 🤣
Thanks for your response, love it!
There is so much to discover in your channel, but I always come back to these honest & beautiful moments!
All the best from Germany!
that finaly came end of 2020...covid was insane an it was so much emotional shit throught rough time !
Back when we all thought Book of Bobba was going to be the most kick ass thing ever. We were all so young & naïve lol.
It could have been if disney kept Kennedys leash short and said leave star wars the fuck alone it had a better story before she shoehorned in alot of bullshit like the mighty morphen color scooters.
Daddylorian was strong in this one.. Best space dad ever.
The Life Force of the Jedi...May the Force be with you...always.
Omg this episode here gave me the same emotions I had for Avengers Endgame. This episode will go down in Star Wars history.
John Favreau and Dave Filoni are my heros.
When I tell y'all I never clicked so fast!! I'm so excited for this!
There are 2 kinds of people in this world. Those that freak out when they see the one glove or the belt buckle or the green saber...or those that freak out when he pulls back the hood.
"106 versions of Roman Reighns walkin' in" is the single funniest line I have ever heard on a UA-cam video. Thank you for that.
19:05 "Hey Luke, are we blasting off or what? I'm getting some real Death Star vibes in here."
"Hi! I'm Grogu."
"Artoo-Deetoo. Astromech, kid."
"Are you a droid?"
"Kid, I'm THE droid."
"Wow."
"Darn right, wow."
Best reaction. So happy you're caught up! Ready for season 3. 👍
Can't wait!
I still get teary eyed with Luke's appearance. 🥲

It takes a lot for a movie or tv show to make me cry, good lord this one damn near did
How does anyone say "And knowing is half the battle" without immediately following it up with "G.I. Jooooooeeeeee!!!!!!"
This episode had Joe tore up. He was all of us back when this originally premiered.
The finale I was waiting on you guys to reach. I knew you guys were gonna enjoy it🔥🔥🔥🔥

The Luke Skywalker we wanted, not the trash from the movies that Disney put out

you lost me at the first 5 words

The Viper And The Rooster.
what, you never heard of it? classic Mandalorian poem.
When you’ve watched clone wars and rebels, seen those characters build and show up in this show/continue in this show it makes it even better
Amazing series hands down 10/10
Anyone else think these guys are awesome?
The hero of old coming to the rescue.... SO GOOD!
The green lightsaber kind of told you who it was right away...as well as the x-wing
Yo, struggle had the same reaction I did to Luke pulling up! And I knew The Book of Bobba Fett was gonna be dope off the strength of the post credit scene alone!
Just a great finale!, Never get tired of seeing it.
Grown-ass man crying over a dude giving away his pet frog...
That makes two of us.
This ending screwed me up for a good week or two. I still struggle to hold it together watching it a year later.
So glad you guys got here. Love these reactions. Can't wait for season 3!
What a moving finale! Can’t wait for your Reactions to Boba Fett!
They've already done it, he watched BOBF first.
@@debbee0867 then he should of known about Luke and they he had Grogu, cause that is shown in BOBF
@@Ashwgun Look back at through their videos, you will find their reactions to BOBF.

I haven’t seen so many grown men cry since Brian’s Song.
I've waited weeks for this reaction
The "Dont be afraid" always hits me hard
"106 different versions of Roman Reigns walking in" I had to laugh so hard. xD
People were so hyped for Luke that the Mando/Grogu was kind of glossed over so I loved your tears. I didn’t lose it until Mando said “Don’t be afraid”

Great reaction, fellas. Ending makes me emotional, too. Every time.
That ending Wrecked him! My dude that ending still makes me tear up
Not caught up yet! Gotta watch the eps of Boba Fett with Mando and Grogu in em: 5, 6, & 7. Very important developments.
The co-pilot at the beginning said he didn't have a death wish and proceeded to die lmao
That dub step song for the dark troopers goes to hard I love it
God I love this channel
Here we go!!! 😁😁😁
The viper vs Los pollos hermonos
Same reaction when I saw it. Great storytelling.

Hey super random question but I’m really hoping I get a response… where did you get that Mando shirt and what size? I need it
Great to see you guys react to this fantastic all-time episode
"I have a badass hallway scene. Like my father before me."
I'm sure someone already told you this but there are things in The Book of Boba Fett that you need to know/see before Season 3 of Mando.
