Love this conversation. Super interested in the course. Would love to hear you guys come up with a rebuttal to the Starting Strength argument that neuromuscular efficiency and the “t” aspect of P=F*d/t is not really THAT trainable (they say you can effect maybe a 15-20% improvement max) while F is massively trainable.

Great conversation gents. Spot on with methods that are currently missed in the sport of CrossFit, and the CrossFit community. Starting out in the CrossFit realm, and then transitioned to the traditional S&C side of things - I remember I tried to plant the seed of importance of the force velocity curve to the members and it was lost of deaf ears. Could have been my delivery, either way, thank you for the content, TTT!

You nerds are freaking amazing. I relate to this after noticing diminished gains in my power and speed has reduced through injury. Keep it up y'all

The question I have is how as a coach do you progress individuals to do these types of strength training when the class programming for that day is just back squats etc. Do you need to know everyone’s goals during the class and modify each person based on their individual goals. Now it becomes more of a personal training session instead of just a group coaching class.
Or…. Is the class programming taking these types of training into account and planning them accordingly throughout the cycles?

lol. That was a reference to when you started. Maybe not accurate anymore, but you was not so strong when you first started. If you don’t remember, I actually beat you on a hspu workout one time. It was a glorious loss for you.

I did a little "huh?" When they called you intermediate too. I remember getting absolutely smacked around by you on the pure fitness workouts from the WIC last year. 😂

Where do I find this magical book/website? Your concepts for applied tactical progression could be used in so many other areas of life imo.

You imagine the final event of the games being a game of darts. Or chess. The fitness of your brain. An IQ test....Crissfit chess, ... you have 5 mins to make a move and run 400 metres...

Every episode I become more surprised at the content released from TTT. The fact that this is free knowledge should be illegal.

CrossFit neglects hamstrings big time. It’s all quad dominant. It kills me that ghd leg curls are never programmed. The damn thing is designed for that, glute hamstrings yet they use it for overstretched hip flexor sit ups.
