Hi Kurt--I graduated from Birmingham High in 1972. GREAT job on the Pee-wee video!!
This is my favorite topic of this channel. Sure you have your downtown and Hollywood history...but this is the VALLEY...home of the Valley Girls, California speak and culture. I have a feeling there's more coming
Excellent video, appreciate your knowledge on these filming locations. I have had the opportunity to visit a few myself!
Thanks again for another awesome Valley video. I’m hoping I can get back there one day
Will be visiting my daughter soon, who lives near Hollywood Blvd. Can’t wait to see all the locations you covered in her area. Keep up the great work 👍🏻
ur always where I am at, or where i have lived, or where i usually go . so cool bro.
You have to actually ask if you should make a part 2? C’mon man, you know we can’t wait for parts 2-6.
Great job Kurt do part 2 and Office locations
That was cool! I'd _love_ to see a part 2, thank you! 🤙😎
Yes, please. Part 2. As a teenager, I worked at the Reseda walk-in theater. Late 70s. Seen lots of movies there, too. And the Reseda Country Club was such a nice venue for concerts during the early 80s.
Reseda Country Club 👍 saw The Ramones there in 1983
Great video. Loved it!
Brilliant video, mate. I would love to see a part 2 👊🏼
Very detailed thank you very much for making this hope you get 100k subs soon you deserve it!
The Pee Wee Video was awesome i grew up on Pee Wee and i follow everyone u had cameo in that video that was really cool and well done. Thanks for these videos I'm a 80's baby and seeing these videos blow my mind so thanks again continue making these great videos God bless and stay safe.🍻
That was really cool. I grew up in the SFV, 1954-1975. You drove near my old place in PC. Please do part two...
I love the video, and I wish you would make a part two
Go for two, Kurt!!!
Thank you...gotta luv them 80s baby!😎💯🤍👍!
I just subscribed as I just found your awesome videos! I'm 47 and lived in the valley my whole life. My dad had a '78 Ford station wagon and every weekend we'd go to Fedco in Van Nuys, where I'd get my Gumby gummy bears, which is now a Target. Kids in those days man, we devoured those movies and played them over and over! I never knew so many locations were right around the corner, but there's a feeling, a certain valley feeling that although they never say where it was filmed, you just knew. Lots of good memories and excellent, excellent channel! Keep 'em coming!
i like it make a part 2
I have never heard of or seen half the movies you were talking about, but its cool to see how many locations are within such a confined area, and for the movies I did know of great to see. You should make a part two to this one.
Thank you! Can’t believe how many different movies you mentioned. Part 2 for sure!
Part 2 for sure. Great content!
Part 2, please
Great Video tour Kurt!! Love it! I would like to see more video tours. I would like to see a part 2

I love your content and documenting movie history is never a fail. Keep on trucking Curt Crucial
I grew up in the 80s, so I can appreciate all your videos a lot! Must be a blast to be able to do these!
Great video. Thanks Kurt. Look forward to the next one.
Kurt Crucial your videos are a Time Machine. You calling out the streets brings me right back into my days in the valley. Thank you for these memories my friend.
Very cool to see. And yeah.. more videos like these would be awesome.
Great video as always. When you were driving on woodman in Arleta by the 99c store, I know you must have made a left on Nordhoff st. You were literally about a half mile from the Marty's house in back to the future. Hopefully you get to do another continuation video to this one. Love when you do valley videos, they remind me of a time when I was a kid and used to drive around the valley with my parents.
Great video. Like always. Part 2 would be great. And part 3 and 4 and so on... Regards ✌️
Driving around the valley without having to actually "drive" around the valley! Thanks for going out for us Kurt! Some great memories and locations as always! Appreciate this amazing Valley series! 👻🙏🏽 Side note: that Tarzana Square sign was VERY vintage 80s..trip into the past with Round Table Pizza and all
More! Love these. I’d love to come to LA and just drive around and see these places with my own eyes.
Bro I grew up through the 80s and 90s all through the valley. I left Woodland Hills right after Northridge earthquake pretty cool
Now I'm in Reseda in this video
You was just one street over where I live pretty cool Memory Lane bro keep up the good work been watching you for a few years now😊

OMG, I haven't thought about "The Stoned Age" in literally decades at this point. Thanks for the reminder, I'm looking it up right now, if it ain't streaming some place torrents here I come. Lol
I did a video on the locations. Check it out
I think its free to watch on Tubi
@@80sLife Thanks for the heads up, I'll for sure be checking it out.
Part 2,3,4 etc. bring it on 😊
I can just imagine how many more places filmed at that are missing in this short video.
Great video. Kurt really is our ultimate tour guide for all things nostalgia. 👍
I absolutely LOVE these videos. I love filming location videos and also love seeing the valley. I live in the Midwest but I am obsessed with being in California. So these videos are like mini virtual vacations for me!!
GREAT VIDEO,, KERT.. LOTS TO SEE IN ALL THE AREAS IN THE VALLEY ,,.. THX.
Love the visuals..you have a ton of knowledge but maybe do more voiceovers so you get in all the info you want to
Hi, watching you from Italy, i got your age more or less and i wanna tell you that it's always interesting to see the places you show on video. Well done as usual, and sorry for my not so good english. See you!
Fantastic video Kurt I would be happy to see a part 2 I really enjoy any video you do wonderful as always 👍
Very well done as usual.
I don't live in the valley but because I recognize so many places from films I feel like I have been there my whole life. Thanks for the videos, keep up the good work.
Totally tubular!!😎
My doctor's office was in Tarzana Square. I'd forgotten that until I saw this. Yeah... Would love to see another one of these.
Awesome - totally awesome!!
Corvette Summer had filming locations on Van Nuys Blvd. That movie with Mark Hamill. I live in Vegas now, but you sure brought me back to my youth. I graduated from Birmingham High School. I worked at a grocery store on the corner of Vanowen and White Oak that was used in a few different movies and tv commercials. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Very nice!
If i ever figure out Time Travel, the 80s are my first stop 🤙🎸😎
Man, L.A. is just riddled with filming locations. Which obviously makes sense. Even way back when when the film industry moved out there, it was for the weather and diversity of locations, so they could just shoot in the sane place easily. I’ve lived in the Orlando area for the past 26 years, and spent time here even before that. Although we have a pretty tiny amount of filming locations that I could point out, I could drive all over our metro area that’s about 50 miles from north to south and 30 miles or so east to west, and point out a million places that I’ve had personal things happen. Both good and bad. Or point out what used to be in all of those areas too.
You should do it!
I love your valley videos. Please do more.
Great video from my old stomping grounds, from 1949 to 1961......when you were going north on Balboa after passing BHS. I lived 1 block west from Balboa on Paso Robles ave right before you got to Saticoy, when you turned left...went to Gault st. & Stagg st elementary schools, from 54 to 61...then moved to TX & OK, then on to San Fran. in 65...Great times!
How was The Valley in those years ?
Enjoyed the Hell outa this one. Memories of the Valley and Magic Mtn. Magic Mtn holds so much early 80's magic for me. Looking for girls, Motley Crue Tshirt, smoking cigs. There was a cigarette machine up on top of the hill next to some restrooms, Bingo . The NewRo's smoked cloves. That smell still takes me back.
As soon as you turned down Van Nuys bvld, you passed the bar I was running for a couple years (across from Best buy/Gelsons). Owned by a few brothers that are all actors with around a couple hundred credits to there name. Great times there. I'm probably going back to work there. You were also around the corner from the Cadillac dealership that was in the opening of Commando when Billy Duke stole it and drove down venture.
Really enjoy these filming location videos, please keep making them!
This was awesome! You sure know how to take us down memory lane! Fun fact: I live in the apartment building that's shown as the exterior apartment building of Johnny Lawrences in the series Cobra Kai. ;)
Awesome vid man...thanks...of course please do another 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I have a very vague memory when all of the Zodies turned into Targets . 22:04 That always bugged me that they were leaving the Valley at the end , but were supposedly going to the "Valley Sheraton" . Once again aexcellent video
Definitely make a part 2!!!!
The shopping center off Ventura in Encino was used in Poltergeist 2*
The Stoned Age is a guilty pleasure of mine
Part 2 please 😂
Yeah part 2. I haven't been to Californey way since the early 90's. It's nice to get a little tour with each video.
Yes! Make more of these please!!!
Wow! You drove all over! You missed the pulp fiction pawn shop so close to the karate kid apt! And i totally didnt know that the T2 bank was there! Great vid, you got a sub from me!
More please🙏
I'll tune in next week to see if there's more
Make a part 2 please 🙏
Yes! Make Part 2❤
Awesome video. I miss living in California.
So cool! You came very close to the old Osmond family house location on Nordhoff south of Woodman, and Marty McFly's "Back to the Future House" on Roslyndale Ave., less than a mile from the old Osmond House. They also filmed the new stereo shop scene at the end of "Boogie Nights" in the shopping center at Woodman Ave. and Nordhoff. Ritchie Valens' junior high is just on the other side of the 5 freeway on Terra Bella, about 1 mile from the Back to the Future house.
Hughes Jr high in Woodland hills...was my junior high school...and they filmed "Nightmare on Elm street part 2" there ...but it was after they closed it up in the early '80's...😀
