Vigilance Elite Subscribers, I realize the content that I've been putting out as of lately is very different from what you are used to seeing from me and from Vigilance Elite. We started out in the firearms industry and have broadly expanded into other genres. I've realized how much my opening up about my own personal issues has given the courage to 1000's of others to find the answers they need to better themselves. I have received more emails from all types of people (military, police, and civilians) than I can possibly read and respond to. Describing to me how much the last video on social anxiety helped them, gave them the strength they've needed to get help, how it gave them a new strategy to push through social functions. I've had a Sheriff's Dept ask to use that video in their mandatory training after critical stress incidents. To me, this has been extremely fulfilling and very meaningful. I will continue on this path with this type of content until I believe the information I have to share is no longer relevant. Thank you all for the amazing support. Yours Truly, Sean Ryan
Sean... you are truly an inspiration to us all. The work that you do and the time that you serve and your continued diligence to your channel and us it's a testament of Who You Are. From my family to yours... Thank You!!! VE4L!!!
After being forced to retire with PTSD from law enforcement, with no treatment for it, I self-medicated with alcohol. I went through hell until I found a counselor who was also in AA. She got me through it by addressing my past traumatic experiences. Thank God, I'm now doing great, and life is good. Thanks for your service and for telling your story.
Son …. Just watched the video and this makes me very very proud of you. Been thru most of this ordeal with you and to bring this to the public takes a helluva lot of courage. I think this is going to help a lot of folks!
Navy vet - I had a great therapist and psychiatrist in the Navy. I was lucky to find a great therapist on the first try after the Navy and my psychiatrist is pretty good as well. Therapists don't fix you, they give you the tools to fix you. I'm on meds but they're lowering my doses and I'll eventually be off. Seriously, getting a therapist is far better than drinking yourself away or avoiding your issues. I don't know why I'm watching this since I don't need the tips but it makes me so happy for you too talk about this Shawn. Obviously SEALs are supposed to be super heros to the layman so it's nice that you're showing that "badasses" hurt just as much as the common man as much as I hate to use these terms, but it's for those reading my comment. Best of luck everyone.
It takes courage to admit you're seeing a therapist in today's society. Realized after telling my family and "friends" Ibwas seeing a therapist for my childhood sexual abuse and physical assault; yeah, don't have many friends as I used too. Thanks for you're doing Shawn
Sexual abuse is rampant in U.S. Many never divulge anything. Having studied 'inner healing" methods for many years, one that has lasting results is TPM.org Free training online. Came out in the mid 90's and has progressed ever since (unlike many with no evolvement).

Realest shit on UA-cam right here! 💪🏼 And coming from one of the baddest men on the planet, it really means a lot to many of us average Joes. MUCH APPRECIATED!!
Even more important... quick story, I'm raising a couple of my nephews now, 7 & 5, cuz their Dad had a stroke so he's not available for much of anything, and no nephews of mine are growing up without a "father figure" if I have anything to say about it. They're awesome boys and we're all doing well overall, but 💯 it could only help us all to go to some family counseling once in a while. So your message is already reaching the next generations. Can't wait to see updates on the ranch and make it down there for some training some day 🤙🏽
Mental health is no joke. You're not a pussy or whatever other stigmas people try to push on us for getting help, it takes strength to recognize and correct a problem. Getting help after I retired (12 years and 4 tours 31B) was the best thing for me. God speed to all of my brothers, it does get better.
Hi Sean! I just want to say as someone who might not necessarily be part of your target audience (Liberal dude), I think it is beyond fantastic that you have made this video and the social anxiety one before it. While I think the stigma around mental health is decreasing, it still keeps so many, especially our veterans who have done such meaningful service, from getting the real help that they need. I really admire you as a former SEAL and CIA contractor putting this out there. Instead of pushing the "no excuses" approach, you're doing this, and I have to say it's some of the most important UA-cam content that I have ever seen. As you've mentioned, you've had a huge response to these videos, and I just hope it gets bigger. I've just subscribed and I'm looking forward to more gun videos, EDC videos, and videos like these. Much love. P.S. Also loved your "Motivation" and "Don't be a Dick" videos.
Ryan there isn't enough content on the UA-cam concerning this issue, it's not available to view as of yet but I'm sure it's in Vigilance Elite style so it's sure to be worth the watch.
You are a TRUE MAN. A lot of us hide this stuff even from ourselves. I used to have dreams and flashes of memories that I can only hope are not real. Maybe some day I will grow balls as big as yours. Never out of the fight. Thank for sharing.
Shawn, watching your videos here are starting to help. Just scared to take that first step and admitt it. Desert Storm vet 1990-97, havent keep a stable job since i got out. My wife watches with me and wants me to go to counseling. Monday her and i are going to a dr , guess first step is the hardest. Thanks bro keep these videos rolling your helpi g more than any one ever has.
I'm waiting to watch, already gave a thumbs up, because I know this will be great. You are helping so many people. That first call..to get help is the hardest. Just asking for help can be so hard, especially for men I think. And even more so for the type of man who chooses to work in the Military, Police and first responders. They run into the fire, and the fire fight, bullets flying. Asking for help is your first step to wellness and happiness. Thank you for your service to our country Sean. Thank you for your honesty.
For all viewers selecting male vs female has nothing to do with "their" sex, you are simply judging a potential outcome based on your own insecurities. As an occupational therapist who frequently treats vets, the greatest thing you can do for yourself is leave your preconceived notions and expectations at the door. Stigma, fear, worry, and anxiety live in those expectations, which unfortunately kill more vets unable to seek treatment than our nation can continue to lose. Thank you for being real and sharing your experience, you continue to save lives and serve your country honorably. Please feel free to reach out to me if you ever need a listening ear.
I've for a very long time suffered from social anxiety. It wasn't until a bond , friendship with another vet allowed me to trust completely. Trust that helped me open , speak to another of my fear. That vet , my friend, didn't care about me the way I thought he might . He's like let's work in it , face the fear . I'm Viet Nam era , him Desert Storm . Ages apart , but vets through and through. Not sure after all the years if anything could've, would've worked . Outside of another vet , for me , the public doesn't get it . For sure trusting in another vet is that Brotherhood I miss . Thanks Sean for your efforts outside of milk duds and brass. How's Jeff's Atlas ? Loose your slot , rollin here .

This is great advice for a lot of guys that follow you and that need counseling. A vet with your status in the community that can open up like you do in this video is a great example for others.
Great stuff as always. Few good things come easy. People have issues they can’t fix themselves or are too dull to realize that a problem exists. It takes some serious “stones” to look yourself in the mirror, admit you need help and take action. It takes even more to wake up the next day and follow through, hit the google search, pick up the phone, have an honest conversation, then schedule the first appointment and stroke the check... repeat. The best person to tell you whether or not you’re just being a p*ssy, or you have legit reason, is a good objective therapist who doesn’t know who the hell you are, but listens and provides a big dose of reality. No shame in it.
Vigilance Elite thank you bro. Keep up the good work! Your shooting technique videos are spot on, the humor is very refreshing, but the serious topics and the way you present them are just as impressive and important, to anyone. Fantastic stuff.
Thank you for taking the time to address this issue..Some alphas are too embarrassed to admit needing someone to talk to. I know I was until I tried it. I found it was the way of strength though because it allowed me to process things and get them squared away without exploding on someone.
It’s so great that you’re putting out videos like this! I’ve been seeing a PTSD therapist for the past 3 months and I can tell it’s been a positive impact in my life. Therapy rocks! Getting help rocks! Keep up the awesome videos!
As an old Vietnam Vet, who spent many years in therapy, I wanted to tell you how proud I am of you for having the guts to do this video. Your message is something that all combat vets should take seriously....the issues will be with you the rest of your life so in order to coup, the best way to do it (in my opinion) is to talk to someone! Again, thanks for posting this message. God Bless!
bro you're a boss and your advice and opinions resonate with a lot of us because you live here on planet earth along side us. you don't pretend to live in the clouds and know more than us.
Just wanted to say thanks from the bottom of my heart. My Brother has been struggling for years with issues and had a "stigma" to getting help. I sent your video and it made a difference! He took the first step! Godspeed my friend!
This guy's channel is going to fucking blow up. Just watch. He is hitting all the right notes and building one of the most needed brands now. I love this channel. It's not just about veterans struggling with reintegration into society its much deeper. It's about the human condition, battling demons and going for what you think is right even though life is cloudy and gives you doubts and fear. It's about coming out of each challenge. Like I said, this guy is going to be HUGE.
Thanks again Sean, I'm a vet, peace time, 4 years, Navy. Radioman on an LPD. My PTSD from childhood, and joining Navy didn't help. But a therapist saved my life. You the first Navy SEALwho has the balls to talk about it and I'm glad that you dobecause it's a chronic issue and it can do a number on your head if you don't get it right so thank you
A thousand times Thank you Shawn! Excellent video as always! Personally, I have always tried to "keep my own council" for several reasons... 1. The stigma that can go with seeking help... 2. The feeling of judgment... 3. Actively asking for, and accepting help... These "reasons" or excuses kept me from actually growing as a person. These barriers were broken down for me when I finally manned up and asked for help. You're 100% right Shawn... Thank you for your candor and your honesty! I hope to meet you one day to shake your hand and thank you personally! Until then, I wish you continued health, happiness, and much deserved success!
This is SOO helpful! I went to therapy a few times and stopped because I never felt connected to the person and left feeling discouraged. I’m going to try to pick it back up again with these tips in mind!
Right on Mr Ryan. You're helping a lot of us. Ive never served, but all of you guys have alwys been my hero's. Some of the best dudes ive worked with are veterans. They work so hard and i can always ALWAYS count on them. Many of them have gotten the help thats out there. They had to look and grind through it for a while, but they made the commitment to themselves and gotten healthy. Ive gone theough very tough times and was able to pull through. I owe a lot of it to those veterans. Thank you. All of you.
There is absolutly no shame in admitting you need help from a therapist. In fact it takes courage to openly speak about it. Being open about your problems and talking about it is the most direct and fastest route in healing yourself and it is all about yourself and not others. If friends decide to unfriend you for seeing a therapist they never were any good friends to start with. Same goes for family. I'm not even from the States but I salute you for being open to this and talking about it. I thank you for your service and your sacrifice you made in securing our freedom, because it was not only the freedom for the US that was at stake but ours as well and for that I thank u!
Not only are you an American “hero, now you’re helping save lives once again. I know gentleman like yourself, don’t do it for the praise, but it can’t be heaped on you enough. Every day I raise my flag in the front yard, I think of our men and women in uniform, and the only damn reason we get to enjoy each day, is because of you. This video, you sharing will save lives. Thank you sir
I’m not sure where to begin, but man, you’re an inspiration. Recently found your channel and I’m hooked. I struggle with social anxiety, depression, addiction, pride, among other things, but to hear someone who’s the “ultimate badass” (you really are, though) open up about their struggles is a true encouragement. I’ve been going to therapy/counseling for over a year now, and for those who are on the fence about it, DO IT. Sean speaks truth. It changes your life and will put you on a trajectory to a healthier lifestyle. Thanks for being a source of knowledge and inspiration to me and many others, man. We’re all in this together. Much love and thanks for your service so I can be free.
I have to hand it to you Ryan for opening up to help others. I caught your video a month ago and then subscribed. I don"t have PTSD and do not pretend to know what it is like. But I do get frustrated from time to time. What I do is pick up a chain saw and head to the woods. Cutting and splitting fire wood allows me to take out my frustration or anger on a piece of wood. No harm done. At the same time I get a hell of a work out. Maybe this could help others.
Thank You so much Shawn. I struggled with addiction and other issues from my service as a conscript with the SADF in the Angola border war during the 1970's and 1980's. I managed to get clean and deal with most of it, except the nightmares and social anxiety, it was only years later after I moved to the US in the 1990's that I sought counseling/therapy.
I think your even more courageous than before! I here in the Samurai culture they see crying or a man admitting to his fears as an act of Courage rather than coward. Because it takes such courage to admit. You are a true warrior Sean! God Bless!🙏✊
It's impressive how you can speak about this stuff and how easy you make it look like! Once again showing the high caliber person you are! Mad props, and thank you again for your service and for what you keep doing for The People even after the military.
I found my therapist about a month ago after watching your video on this topic. I've only had a couple sessions so far, I'm getting more comfortable and I've learned a lot already. Thank you for helping me to see through the anxiety of seeking out help and finding a therapist, I'm past the uncertainties of getting started and I'm glad I did. Take care.
@@Aaron-cy6pu I have a private insurance plan and I pay a $35 dollar co-pay per session. The therapy office I'm with does a sliding scale based on income for clients without insurance. There are quite a few therapists that also charge based on income, you just have to find one and get started, good luck.
I have been seeing therapist on and off my whole life. I give them all credit for me being here 54 years. The one thing I learned is that life is a rollercoaster and NEVER is level. Every emotion is temporary and you have to learn to maneuver thru the bad times. Great video be well.
I’ve watched this a couple times toying with the idea of going I appreciate you sharing especially since the info is coming from a bad ass seal makes a 23 year old guy feel better about going to get help myself
I know having a person so close to me struggle with anxiety it is so important to break the stigma of mental health issues. Keep it going Shawn , these are great and smash the crap out of the stigma !
Thank you again for everything you do Shaun. Not a vet but a recovering drug addict who has spent countless hours in therapy. One of the biggest realizations I came to through my own journey is that a man who is willing to confront his issues and work to better himself with the help of others always turns out stronger than those who try and “deal” with these issues alone. It’s a lot harder to co-sign your own bullshit when a third party, unbiased professional is involved and your forced to look at your own reflection.
You're incredibly insightful and naturally feel like someone you can trust and respect. We need more people like you to help the general population who are just looking for a little fucking guidance in navigating this messed up world.
Just a lowly civilian here but I appreciate what you are doing for your peers and others that may be struggling with things they don’t want to talk about.
Hey kid, good knowledge. No bullshit, I found the best therapist by going the exact opposite way from my gut. I found a female who had few dealings with combat vets, but specialized in PTSD. Here’s why it worked for me....she didn’t put up with bullshit, or excuses. She could read right into my behaviors and thoughts, validated them for my life behind a gun...but then absolutely showed me why those don’t translate well into the civilian world, and held me to a standard to which I could keep a moral inventory everyday. Good shit brother. Keep putting out bangers.
Great video, will share this at the local. I remember one thing a sgt said. They are like a good instructor. They are their to teach you the techniques and to give you the tools to deal with the rooms of your mind. They are not their to clear the rooms of your mind for you, they are their to give you the shoulder squeeze and then follow you into the room and assist while you clear it. If you find someone who wants to be the hero and save you from yourself then you have the wrong person. Loved your interview with Rut, and am loving the videos you have dropped so far this year. Keep up the good work.
Hey man just wanted to comment to let you know these videos are helping more people than just combat veterans. I have had some anxiety and panic attacks recently, and seeing a man of your caliber talk so openly about therapy and social anxiety helps me deal with it and realize there are steps to be taken to avoid them, instead of just coexisting with them .
Life coach. We all need a purpose and responsibility to be fulfilled. The courage to find those things is what videos like the last two give to those who need it. Much respect from Australia, mate. 👍
I’m not sure you realize the impact you have on people doing these two videos alone! A REAL man, knows when it’s time to ask for help. Again, thank you!!!
Damn, I'm glad a certified hard guy is talking about the importance of mental health. I've felt broken for a long time. Been in therapy since 2012 and I got my 214 in 07 almost 08. I feel like I'm only barely scratching the surface of improving. Today I walked to doc and he said I've come a long way. I didnt really consider it until I realized, yeah I have. I did a stint in the psych unit but I trusted them there because of an old Vietnam Era vet that told me as a last resort its okay to check in the unit. It saved my life. I walked in burned and cut the fuck up. It saved me though because I'm doing DBT groups and groups are something I NEVER thought I would do. Please people, mental health matters man. We need you around and need you coherent n clear headed for this world. Too many people lost in the sauce especially these days. Thank you for this.
I think the only thing I can add to this well presented info is that regardless of their title, a good therapist is a good therapist. GREAT topic and content on this channel. Much respect.
As a trained counselor and trauma clinician, I have to say that your point about the Social Media footprint is so true. So many of these younger folks are posting their private lives and not able to present as professional. That was a very good lesson that should be taught in all of the disciplines.
Hey man, new viewer. I'm not military, but I'm a firm believer in everyone seeking therapy for the difficulties they have. Everyone's given a toolkit, and sometimes that toolkit's not sufficient to deal with the issues at hand. I'd rather find a master mechanic to help me than deal with my major issues on my own. Thanks so much for helping to shed some light and understanding on this touchy issue. Appreciate you, your sacrifices, and your struggle.
Thank you for for having the courage to open up about your help seeking journey Sean. Points were spot on. As a psychotherapist in Tampa, retired cop, Army vet, treating warriors is a specialty of mine. Warriors have a tough time asking for help. I think you made it easier for some, and even saved lives with this video. God bless you, Dr. Jesse Collins.
Mate thank you for your openness and honesty. The social anxiety post i can only imagine was difficult and this one was probably even harder. I'm pretty sure we all started coming here for the guns and the bullshit and please don't stop, but what you have been delivering of late is gold! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I'm about to retire this summer after 25 in the Navy. No matter our path - at the end of the day we are all vets with needs. Thank you for this - I can't express how much this video means to all of us. Thank you again. God Bless...
I have never been in the military but I identify with the struggle. These videos you are doing about anxiety are a great service to your peers. God bless.
Thank you for this! I did not serve, but come from a military family and my best friend was a Marine who has been diagnosed with PTSD. I am currently working on my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with and emphasis on PTSD. While I will be a counselor, I will still be a very good option other than a psychologist or a psychiatrist. I am currently working with veterans on passing a bill for what is called a Green Alert which works much the same way an Amber Alert does only for veterans who have gone missing and may need help. This video is a great tool to help other veterans understand that seeking therapy is not a weakness but a strength.
Shawn...dude. I fucking love you, brother! Thank you, for this. For fuckin’ everything, man. Your service, your enlightenment, your continued bravery, and just being a BAMF. 🙏🏼 GOD bless, my dude.
Great Message. well said. You would be surprised how many struggling combat vets you may have inspired with only 12 minutes of your time. Keep it up !!!!!
This video has helped me out enormously with my symptoms been an absolute mind field . Writing down trigger points that caused me to loose concentration. Now my mind works in harmony with the words I want to express. My editing system in my brain was damaged with decades of abuse. Thanks Sean Ryan and also I'd like to say. Keep sharp my man!
I just discovered your videos. So many of the things you say could’ve been taken right out of my life. I had the same struggles and went through multiple therapists over the last 5 years. I also settled on a woman who had never seen combat so a few of my stories have left her quiet. But overall she’s been amazing. Between her and the Valor Program at Signature Hospital in KC, MO, I am leaps and bounds over where I was last year. Thanks for your videos and insight.
I watch a lot of different UA-cam channels. Some are guys digging trenches with large excavators. Some are guys repairing small engines. Some are home DIY channels. Some are shooting range channels. Some are ATV review channels. The ones I subscribe to are the ones who are passionate about their subject matter. It doesn't really matter what you do on your channel as long as you are passionate about it. If people leave your channel and go to other channels, so be it, there are thousands of them out there on every subject you can imagine. You do you, Sean Ryan. There will be people that don't like it, but that will be true no matter what subject you decide to cover. What matters is your passion, not theirs.
Thank you!! 100%. My wife and I hit a rough patch 6 years ago. Long story short. Our son was 5 almost 6. Prior to him being born. New house our son was born the following summer and boom. We were married. All 100% planned. Wouldn’t change it for the world. Then a curve ball was thrown. No shit. If it weren’t for talking to a marriage counselor at our church and taking a class that they offered. I personally wouldn’t be the person, husband or father that I am today as well as my wife. She hands down is my rock. We said if it works Great!! If not. That our son was our priority. We recently celebrated our 11th anniversary . Our son turned 11 over the summer and our daughter will be 2 later this fall.
There's something about Shawn. As deadly a seal as he is... He has a beautiful, kind, loving and caring heart. And zero lack of intelligence either. God bless you and keep you soldier Parexelance.
As a disabled veteran with a 100% disability for ptsd and stress disorder I thank you for what your doing. You may be saving lives. In order to find good help I had to go through psychotherapy away from the VA. All the VA therapists wanted to do was give me drugs. That’s all they had time for. Once I got away from the VA I found a therapist who was a veteran and he was the first person to explain to me what ptsd was and what survivors guilt was. He also taught me that the war wasn’t my fault. He taught me biofeedback breathing to deal with stress and he reminded me that I owed a debt for being able to come home alive. It really helped me to learn that the best thing I could do to honor those who didn’t make it back was to live my life with honor. Be a good person live a good life. I owed that to the ones who didn’t return. I wear a powmia bracelet to remind me of that. I am very proud of the work your doing and thank you. It’s important we give something back besides stupid war stories and parades and memorials and flag waving. To reach out and help those who need it. Your an example of how a vet should act when he comes home. For that I thank you. Aloha. Chuck

Thank you for breaking it down and being the catalyst!
That's awesome, best of luck.

Thank you man. Cheers
Thank you, it will be available in 27 min.
Most people don't understand social anxiety. It took me years to get a mild handle on my anxiety. its a learning process.
Thanks for posting the video, it was a good video as usual, informative and open.
Glad to hear it Eric, you won't regret it. Stick with it and you will notice things starting to change slowly but surely.
How have you been doing man?
Do what you have to do brother, we are behind your channel 100%.
Thank you for saying that. I really appreciate it.
Luv that, referral gig. Everyone has the best painter, doctor, massage therapist. U right Shawn. Gotta do your homework. Stay safe, stay right.
Cheers
Unquestionable brave, intelligent as a real.
But you take both way beyond.
You help others, you rock.

My own additions:
Lots of therapy places can be noncommunicative. Veteran bars can actually be a great place to ask for help on how to get help.
That's a damn good comment. Thank you
Vigilance Elite thank you bro.
I'm not one of those Alphas. Thank you man.
It’s so great that you’re putting out videos like this! I’ve been seeing a PTSD therapist for the past 3 months and I can tell it’s been a positive impact in my life. Therapy rocks! Getting help rocks! Keep up the awesome videos!
Feels good when you make the first step right?
As an old Vietnam Vet, who spent many years in therapy, I wanted to tell you how proud I am of you for having the guts to do this video. Your message is something that all combat vets should take seriously....the issues will be with you the rest of your life so in order to coup, the best way to do it (in my opinion) is to talk to someone! Again, thanks for posting this message. God Bless!
bro you're a boss and your advice and opinions resonate with a lot of us because you live here on planet earth along side us. you don't pretend to live in the clouds and know more than us.
Think what you're doing is really important. Keep putting out stuff like this. You'll save someone's life.
I will.
Just wanted to say thanks from the bottom of my heart. My Brother has been struggling for years with issues and had a "stigma" to getting help. I sent your video and it made a difference! He took the first step! Godspeed my friend!
Just wanted to say thank you for opening up to us and giving us advice on how to deal with social anxiety. Be safe and watch your 6.
You're welcome.
Glad to hear it.
Thank you. All of you.
Thank you for saying that.
Looking forward to hear your take brother.
YZERMAN #19 Thank you
hey Stevie Y can't believe I saw your screen logo on here he's 1 of my personal fav players glad he 's back running the team go wings
Sean I'm so very proud of you getting the stigma out of the way and talking about what everyone needs. God Bless.
God bless you too.
I hope you are right. Thank you for watching.
Shawn I’m so glad you found help and got better and are now helping others. Our vets deserve a healthy life when they return home. Great job.
I'm trying.
Interesting... I do the same thing sometimes. Thanks for sharing.
UA-cam needs more content like this. Good stuff Shawn!
Thank you
I think your even more courageous than before! I here in the Samurai culture they see crying or a man admitting to his fears as an act of Courage rather than coward. Because it takes such courage to admit. You are a true warrior Sean! God Bless!🙏✊
Thank you
It's impressive how you can speak about this stuff and how easy you make it look like! Once again showing the high caliber person you are! Mad props, and thank you again for your service and for what you keep doing for The People even after the military.
I've been going to counseling for about 2 months. It's helped me a lot. Don't be afraid to ask for help guys. It might just save you
Shawn, this is by far your most impactful “war” waged. Keep up the fight!
I will
I found my therapist about a month ago after watching your video on this topic. I've only had a couple sessions so far, I'm getting more comfortable and I've learned a lot already. Thank you for helping me to see through the anxiety of seeking out help and finding a therapist, I'm past the uncertainties of getting started and I'm glad I did. Take care.
That is really cool to hear. Good for you! Keep it up.
What's it cost?
@@Aaron-cy6pu I have a private insurance plan and I pay a $35 dollar co-pay per session. The therapy office I'm with does a sliding scale based on income for clients without insurance. There are quite a few therapists that also charge based on income, you just have to find one and get started, good luck.
@@titanbrew8493 thanks sir!!
Thanks, Shawn, Speaking as a therapist your observations are on point.
That really means a lot. Thank you 🙏🏻
As always, your compassion for others is inspiring. Thanks
Thanks for noticing.
It’s hard to be a man and ask for help. Thank you for having the courage to make these videos. Your helping more people then you know
I have been seeing therapist on and off my whole life.
Great, your still helping Veterans! Thanks a lot for this series. Best to you and yours and thanks for all you've done and are doing.
Cheers
I know having a person so close to me struggle with anxiety it is so important to break the stigma of mental health issues. Keep it going Shawn , these are great and smash the crap out of the stigma !
I will keep them going. Thank you
Thank you for your service 🇺🇸 and thank you for using your experiences to help others. It’s very much appreciated.
Thank you for saying that.
Well written statement man. Thank you for doing that.
From the people that may find help in these vids, thanks bud. Congrats on having such an impact
I appreciate that. Thank you
Hey kid, good knowledge.
Thanks for the info man.
Great leadership Shawn Great leadership!! Honesty and Integrity is what this country needs so keep showing it!!
I will, thank you
Hey man just wanted to comment to let you know these videos are helping more people than just combat veterans. I have had some anxiety and panic attacks recently, and seeing a man of your caliber talk so openly about therapy and social anxiety helps me deal with it and realize there are steps to be taken to avoid them, instead of just coexisting with them .
Panic attacks are the worst. I used to get them and thought I was going to die every time I had one. I'm glad it's helping so many. Cheers
Perfect, timely, needed. Thank you!
Life coach. We all need a purpose and responsibility to be fulfilled. The courage to find those things is what videos like the last two give to those who need it.
Much respect from Australia, mate. 👍
Cheers
I’m not sure you realize the impact you have on people doing these two videos alone! A REAL man, knows when it’s time to ask for help. Again, thank you!!!
If it helped one person that is a success. Thank you
Damn, I'm glad a certified hard guy is talking about the importance of mental health.
Great point
As a trained counselor and trauma clinician, I have to say that your point about the Social Media footprint is so true. So many of these younger folks are posting their private lives and not able to present as professional. That was a very good lesson that should be taught in all of the disciplines.
There was a lot of that I found when doing my research. Thank you for watching.
My pleasure
Thank You. You will never know how much I appreciate your breaking down how you found the right person for you.
I hope it helps.
Your mind set is on a new level. Probably most mature person i have ever seen.
That's a hell of a compliment. Thank you
Excellent video, Shawn. Our vets deserve nothing but the best, and vlogs like this really help!
That's my plan.
For some of us the war ended along time ago, but the battles rage on! Good luck
yes they do...
God bless.
Thank you
Thank you for this!
Saving lives with your advice and by your example ...thank you and press on .
Well being where you live is a good start, in my book. Outstanding
Great video!!! Accountability is key! Love this content! Thank you for sharing! Keep them coming!!!
Love you babe.
It takes a lot of courage for you to open up like this in order to help your viewers. If only there were more people like you out there.
Thank you!!
Glad to hear that worked for you. Thank you for sharing that.
God bless you for opening up and sharing your feelings
I have always looked up to our warriors, to know, that they, like me, still ask for help, makes me respect you even more.
Definitely going to help some people out Sean. Lives hopefully changed because of this.
Thank you
There's something about Shawn.
As deadly a seal as he is... He has a beautiful, kind, loving and caring heart.
And zero lack of intelligence either.
God bless you and keep you soldier Parexelance.
Always real. Always honest. Keep these coming. People will change and you're helping! Take care man
Thanks for noticing.
Aloha. Chuck
Can’t wait! Hope you’re doing well!
You too.
I am so glad to hear you talking about this.
