I worked in a pharmacy when I started head banging here in New ZEALAND..EXCEPT IT first Was to a cover band that did Guns n Roses. God my neck killed me for like 2 weeks, agony 😭
This is a proper reaction to hearing and seeing this song performed. I am 63 and I have the exact same reaction every time I hear this song. It came out in my 20s. It is one of the best rock and roll songs ever made!
I just absolutely love it when I get to see the younger generation listen to the music of my Era (the great 80s) and keep the music going on and on and on. 80s rock will never die!!
Here’s some Australian guys that made it as big as they could’ve ever imagined. I saw them in Camden NJ years back and the venue was completely sold out. One of the best. No, one of the very best I’ve seen!!
This one actually carne out in 1990 for us Xers! This band rocked straight through a couple generations. They just kept going and going.... and going...
Hey man, me too. I liked a LOT of music and bands growing up and I never thought a hard rock band would be my favourite of all time, but I fell in love with them too. It’s all Malcolm though, he’s the genius behind it all.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I believe we have the next lead singer for AC/DC in sight. His name.....MR ViDEO. The man has the goods complete with the necessary raspy vocal styling!
Called "power fingering"... popular thing and relatively easy with an electric guitar... What's impressive is the particular bit he was playing at the time... that's a lot of quick notes to hit. ;o)
The original record did not hit the notes only with one hand they used alternate picking which difficult as fuck takes years of practice to master that.. young shot single handed picking just for music video
Brian Johnson is a replacement for Bon Scott, the original ACDC singer who passed to soon. At the time there was no way to replace him. Johnson to the rescue!
Seriously. You can't really see it like that. Brian Johnson was more like the next man up. Bon put the group up on him when he was in a group called Georgie. I will say this though: Back In Black was a damn good start!
Bon Scott actually found Brian Johnson before he passed away. Bon saw a show where Brian suffered from appendicitis on stage yet continued to sing while down in pain. Bon was so impressed by him that he told the rest of the band.
You done fell into another rabbit hole. AC/DC originated in Australia in the early 1970s, and broke out onto US airplay and concert tours in the late 1970s. I saw them live for the first time at Day On The Green in the Oakland Coliseum in the summer of 1978. Almost no one in the audience even knew who they were (including me.) After the concert, I went straight to a record store to pick up their most recent album (at the time,) "Highway To Hell." That was the last album where Bon Scott was the lead singer (a legendary performer.) He died in 1980, and was replaced by Brian Johnson (who's the lead singer in the Thunderstruck video, and is also phenomenal, but differently than Bon Scott.) You should react to a video with Bon Scott as the lead singer, such as "Sin City."
elaine hubbard HAAA your just jealous! They are an Australian band, yes Malcolm and Angus are Scottish but the band came from Australia.. Australian band, as a Scottish/Aussie myself. So you really can’t say anything, other then go home and accept the fact they 100% an Australian band.
Stevie Ray Vaughan live videos! He sounded better live than in studio. All of his songs on playlist are live in concert. We lost a legend in that helicopter crash in 1990. He never learned how to read music, it was just a natural gift.
The vocalist, Brian Johnson, use to be their driver, gave him a shot at being frontman after singer Bon Scott died, he worked out pretty damn good. Early AC/DC is so kick ass, some great Rock and Roll; Let There Be Rock, Riff Raff, Dirty Deeds (done dirt cheap), Sin City, TNT and of course Highway to Hell are all bangers.
I think it was Bon Scott who used to be driver and became singer. He died in 1979, and Brian Johnson, already an established singer with Geordie, took over.
Bon Scott was the driver who replaced Dave Evans. Bon was a fan of Brian Johnson's singing in Geordie. Bon said if anything ever happened to him, he wanted Brian to take his place. Mal and Angus kept on Brian till he agreed to do it. It took Brian a long time to feel comfortable singing Bons songs. Some he still dont probably.
There's a reason this is a Stadium Anthem. Angus on lead. Brian's vocals. Malcom's rhythm guitar. Cliff on bass. And Chris Slade killing it on drums. Okay, 5 reasons it's a Stadium Anthem.

@@yeshuatamayo6508 And what's wrong with Whole Lotta Rosie? He should look up live performances (NOT official videos) before large crowds, which is home of AC/DC eg LIVE AT DONNINGTON
You seemed to pause at the "Texas" part of the song. I might be wrong, but let me elaborate. There was a store called Texas Tapes and Records in South Houston back in the 80s - early 90s. They sold everything from banners, posters, memorabilia, masters ( you could buy Hendrix masters among others) foreign releases, etc. The store owner would host every band he could when they were in town. He held album release parties and autograph sessions. He would take the bands to the best Gentlemen's Clubs and bars in town. I think that's what the reference was. Wasp wrote a song inspired by this. "Blind In Texas". On the Iron Maiden album cover "Somewhere in Time" it's name appears on a shop in the background (although it says Texas Records and Tapes). Store was legendary. You could find stuff there nobody else could get ahold of.

He's Angus Young, The Heart and soul of ACDC He is by far one of the best for his time and beyond.

No one would had noticed anyway
Have to admit I thought that too the first time I saw it
😁😁😁😁😁😁
It's in Brazil, they don't care.
This band is where the term “ head banging” came from . We used to leave AC/DC shows back in the 80’s with our necks stiff the next day in school and our ear drums blown out!
Those were the good old days
I was like that with Billy Thorpe i the 70s!
Woops showing my age here!
Hell yeah! AWESOME band. I've seen them 4 times! Awesome every time!
No, one of the very best I’ve seen!!
they don't call us "boomers" for nutin' LOL! Banger indeed!
@@stevecontini5386 Oh, those were the days huh?

@@maxwellmax9586 absolutely!
@@stevecontini5386 you saw Bon?! you lucky son of a bitch! I was too young to hit the concerts before he passed
This one actually carne out in 1990 for us Xers! This band rocked straight through a couple generations. They just kept going and going.... and going...
That's Angus Young on the guitar doing the Chuck Berry special
Yay I'm the 69th like. And his impersonation of the singer was jaw dropping.
AC/DC was the first band I ever fell in love with! You’ll dig a lot of their stuff if you continue with them man! They’re great!!
I started with KISS then ACDC then OZZY
Hey man, me too. I liked a LOT of music and bands growing up and I never thought a hard rock band would be my favourite of all time, but I fell in love with them too. It’s all Malcolm though, he’s the genius behind it all.
this is the rare brian johnson song that doesn't have me wishing for bon scott's voice. just an incredible vocal performance
When the black dude started singing I about shit a brick he has a great voice....Wow. he could be at lead singer metal band no problem...
I thought exactly the same when I heard him sing! Man's got talent
@@jwlawrey True stuff. .
The black dude is Leo/Mr. Video, lol
Love it. My dad used to say. “Shit a brick”
He is not black he is from Australia!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen, I believe we have the next lead singer for AC/DC in sight. His name.....MR ViDEO. The man has the goods complete with the necessary raspy vocal styling!
Reactors never notice that Angus is playing the guitar one handed in the beginning, which I think is pretty awesome. Why is that?
I noticed this also
Because why not. It's a commonly used technique in a lot of metal bands.
Fret hammering technique.... Angus does it live as well, I should know, I have seen them over 25 times in concert.
Dude you kinda sounded like Brian Johnson!
It was spot on "PLUS"!
He does a little😁
Right 1st try he nails it lol.
lol same tone!
I Thought So Too. A Heavy Dose Of Booze And Cigarettes And It Will Become Natural
Mark Evans was the original vocalist, he was replaced by Bon
Bon Scott actually found Brian Johnson before he passed away. Bon saw a show where Brian suffered from appendicitis on stage yet continued to sing while down in pain. Bon was so impressed by him that he told the rest of the band.
"I'ma call him skip"...lmao..🤘🤘🤘
I literally read this comment as he said it. So cool. So weird. 😂
"I am Thunderstruck, and I've been hit with Child support by my baby momma!" JAJAA
You done fell into another rabbit hole.
AC/DC originated in Australia in the early 1970s, and broke out onto US airplay and concert tours in the late 1970s. I saw them live for the first time at Day On The Green in the Oakland Coliseum in the summer of 1978. Almost no one in the audience even knew who they were (including me.) After the concert, I went straight to a record store to pick up their most recent album (at the time,) "Highway To Hell." That was the last album where Bon Scott was the lead singer (a legendary performer.) He died in 1980, and was replaced by Brian Johnson (who's the lead singer in the Thunderstruck video, and is also phenomenal, but differently than Bon Scott.)
You should react to a video with Bon Scott as the lead singer, such as "Sin City."
Alan,it is on youtube.
Same here but in Edinburgh Scotland. I saw them when nobody knew who they were only about 50 turned up to see them.
Both Angus and malcom were born in Glasgow. Bon Scott born in Scotland too
they are Scots,i know you aussies like to claim they are australian because they lived there but the band like it or not are 100% Scottish
elaine hubbard HAAA your just jealous! They are an Australian band, yes Malcolm and Angus are Scottish but the band came from Australia.. Australian band, as a Scottish/Aussie myself. So you really can’t say anything, other then go home and accept the fact they 100% an Australian band.
“Break all the Rules.....Play all the Fools”.....my favorite line.
Says brayed all the fools
Two Cellos do" Thunderstruck" will blow ur mind. Angus was floored by these dudes!
I have been blessed by being able to see them in concert 4x....
The stepping that Angus does is called the “Duck Walk”.
Bruh....the guitar player's name is Angus Young...He is a beast on guitar...A bigger beast on guitar is Steve Ray Vaughn
Oh you should react to stevie ray Vaughn voodoo child
Stevie Ray Vaughan live videos! He sounded better live than in studio. All of his songs on playlist are live in concert. We lost a legend in that helicopter crash in 1990. He never learned how to read music, it was just a natural gift.
@M 40
Stevie Ray could have done the same.
@M 40
Hey, I'm not saying Angus Young isn't a beast! Amazing talent!!!
SrV is the greatest!
Not true.
Mikey Aurelius H true.
@@mikeyaureliush9017 I was gonna say same thing. It was Bon Scott that was the driver. You are right.
Angus young is slaying the chuck berry duck walk
There's a reason this is a Stadium Anthem. Angus on lead. Brian's vocals. Malcom's rhythm guitar. Cliff on bass. And Chris Slade killing it on drums. Okay, 5 reasons it's a Stadium Anthem.
😂😂😂😂
I'VE BEEN TO HUNDREDS OF CONCERTS.ACDC WAS THE LOUDEST SHOW I'VE EVER SEE. THE FUCKIN ROCKED.

If no one has said it's Angus Young on lead guitar. His brother who passed, last year I think, is Malcolm Young on rhythm guitar
One of the BEST legendary hard Rock songs EVER
Dude, you need to get this in karaoke, record yourself and put it out there ! You could dress like Angus "skip", and make a cardboard cut-out of Malcolm's guitar (to give you Rhythm!).
You would be awesome !!!
Can you imagine being in that crowd, all that adrenaline & everyone screaming "THUNDER!" together?
These guys are pitbulls with attitudes. Brian Johnson is a little guy, only 5'5". But OMG what a set of pipes. The Young brothers are only 5'2" (Angus) and 5'3" (Malcom (RIP)) and two of the best guitarists to ever play Rock and Roll.
And .. Malcolm (RIP) plays rhythm but taught angus ( Skip) how to play guitar.....I suggest ACDC GONE SHOOTIN ..great basic groove
"I'mma call him skip" 🤣🤣
This was the first rock song I remember as a kid. AC/DC changed my musical life at a young age.
I consider myself extremely lucky to have experienced ACDC in concert!! Angus is a KING and there is nothing like this old rock and roll!!! Man, it just never gets old and I LOVE seeing people experience it for the first time and love it!! Great reaction!
I was surprised at how much you sounded alike when you started singing! It amazed me! Earned a sub.

I f*cking *miss* record stores....big time!!! I could burn a whole Saturday in one.
the guitar player is Angus Young, lead singer Brian Johnson!
Watch any of the live videos from their series of concerts in River Plate, Argentina. The crowds are UNBELIEVABLE. It’s a sea of humanity, all going absolutely nuts.
That is the warm up of the song.
Angus Young... The legend... Malcolm young his genius brother who wrote most of the chord structure.
Being a Black dude, I can believe you have never heard from some of these bands. But, really??? AC/DC? Listen to some really early stuff with Bonn... he will blow you away. Ps please pull up your pants. 😘😘

I love Bon Scott. To me, it’s not AC/DC without Bon. He will always be loved.
Onya Laura, Bon had "it" and the boys were more raw then. Love Brian, but Bon was a force like no other. Music ain't about colour and these guys never shied away from acknowledging their roots, black blues. Gotta love music huh?

"Whole Lotta Rosie" .. Live at River Plate. 70,000 people a night (3) and giant stage props. Best AC/DC live concert.
I agree 100% and more if it was possible. Bon Scott would be proud. Imagine him the frontman, working the crowd into a chant on the song, High voltage. I think the minds of everyone in the crowd would implode, sensory overload 😅
