I love how this is a remix of the alternate version of the appearance fanfare from Prime 1(not the one used in the opening cutscene) and I hope they use this remix for Prime 4 too
Kenji Yamamoto (Different person from the disgraced Dragon Ball composer) was the composer for every Metroid since Super, except for Other M and Federation Force. Prime was the natural evolution of the series, musically, so that's the sound that sticks. As for why they didn't remix Metroid 2's appearance theme, I chalk it up entirely to consistency. The entire rest of the series uses the Metroid 1 version, so it'd be weird for one to suddenly use something different now.

It's not a remake, it's recycled, not original to the Metroid 2 of Gameboy
This was how to make an appearance after 5 years of nothing, and after 10 years of anything good.
Technically it was one year but that was a spinoff

when you turn on your 3DS when having the Samus Returns title...
I legit forgot I subbed to this channel years ago.
Iconic. Quite iconic.
I like how it adds a couple new things It sounds a little bit different.
AM2R fan fare pay homage to the original Metroid 2. I don’t know why this fan fare sound more like the Metroid Prime saga
Tbh the Prime version sounds better than the original.

Meanwhile, it's the other way around for the title theme.
Cuando Estas En 2019 *Suena La Musica*
I thought they were gonna set the fanfare from the original Metroid II, like AM2R did.
That's hardly worth remixing because it's just a few notes from the title theme.
@@44bigfreeze technicly it's remixed but in the title sceen theme
On one hand not a lot of original music on the other the prime version of the fanfare and item jingle is perfection.
Zeke Blane the jingle is slightly different from prime.
