Great info James - and yes for sure the big boy manufacturers are really taking us for mugs as we spend far too much for a product that each year is really not that much different than years previous, sometimes worse! KR John
Very good James. The sonartec hybrid was advertised as a lower hotter hybrid. It fell out of favor because most hybrids hit it high and landed soft. The sonartec was the opposite and was built for a better player with faster swing speed. That is why they disappeared. I played with them for a while and loved them but they were not for everyone.
I bought an Adam’s hybrid from golf clubs for cash earlier this year for £35 and the reason being is i have always struggled with a hybrid and I wanted to try one again and for £35 it wasn’t going to be a waste of money
I still have a Nickent 3W Titanium. When in a lawsuit with TM, they were heavily discounted. Bought the 3W for the price of the UST mamiya Attas3. One of the best wood shafts back then.
I have the 3wood and 5wood of the sonortec. I've had for a long time and recently got them out and hit them. I need a more flexible shaft as I have aged, but they still hit very well
I got to disagree, technology has come a long way and the newer hybrids are definitely better in design and turf interaction. TM Sim hybrids can be found for 70 USD and worth the the extra cash, better forgiveness, trying interaction.
If I had money, I would go for fashion, private labels, etc. The fashion world is changing so fast, and knockoffs allow me to change my style frequently and keep up with the trends. kislux completely meets my needs. It makes me feel very satisfied and I love it.
If you really want to know if we're being marketed towards too much...just watch UA-cam for half an hour FFS 😂. It'll take you an hour to watch 30 mins of content.
Enjoying these second hand club segments. Helps keep me grounded when I read about all the new stuff coming out.

I love Sonartec, I have one and even though it's not currently in the bag, it's not something I want to get rid of.
Sonartec are very good hybrids, another great hybrid brand if you can get hold of them are Nickent
I still have a Nickent 23* hybrid.

Just sold my Adams Idea Pro 1-iron to a much better golfer than me - off to Seaton Carew on Wed - look forward to seeing it at work!

Glad that Bobby made it back home from Finland in one piece!
theres also so many good Crazy second-hand hybrids!
This is just the hilarious James not taking himself to seriously video that Monday needed. 👌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Well done James 👏 😊
Having a playable two iron like this is an amazing weapon to have in your bag. It’s underrated
Some of the older hybrids are still amazing.
Love these comparison videos 😊
i have a sonartec myself and it is quiet a nice club
Greetings from Budapest, not golfing, but doing a Bobby.
Looks a bit like my Ram QUB3 Pro that I've had for over 10 years, 18° 3 hybrid, brilliant club, just over £30 brand new.
Now put a graphite design tour AD shaft in that bad boy. 😂
Turf interaction!! Looks like a leek trench to me 😂😂👍
i have trigger finger pain just watching that turf interaction
Their fairway woods are even better.
I know too much golf. i called out sonartec immediately from the blurry image .
I find hybrids at thrift for $3-$6. Name brands.
