The last balance council seemed to work particularly well based on what I saw this season. I hope we can get as good of one again too!
Thanks for doing all this data gathering, gives some great insights! I always have a hunch that I’ve seen a deck more than others but yeah you really need something like this to back it up and give some perspective - it is a shame seeing SK with such low variety, it always felt like the faction with the most variety in the past, or at least the most versatile leaders - let’s hope rain, witchers, alchemy, and your more “classic” blaze of glory decks can make a comeback soon
It wasn't too bad to collect, the hardest part was remembering to write down the games :) And it is interesting to see what you actually play against. I've always thought I played against a lot of Renfri decks which seems to still be the case, but given how many games there are and different players I'm sure different people see different things.
I'm also really disappointed with the SK variety. Like you said, it used to have a ton of variety with things like Self-wound, a variety of Lippy decks, Rain, Alchemy, and even a lot of the more neutral heavy decks that didn't see play anywhere else like Iris: Shade and full constructs. I didn't think it would be as bad as this, I hope it's just my games and other people are running into other SK decks (which is possible) but I'm dubious.
@@platinumpatrol2964 I have not encountered any of those decks in pro either (I did play all of them except Iris:shade a whole lot myself though)

This data and analysis is very welcoming dedication and extremely useful. I hope you will continue doing this every season, so that we may be able to see the shift in what being played on ladders, as well as having reasonable statistical evidence to back it up
Thank you for sharing and making a video out of it. I saw your BC suggestion video too, and the Chimera buff that went through was truly an effort from Eng side that overlaps with one another :)
I find it kind of shocking that self wound is so low. I think it's such an under rated archetype, crazy strong. It's weakness? Squirrels. A squirrel can really mess it up, and Xavier is nightmare fuel for me when playing SW, nothing to do if Rites and Fucusya has no good targets.
What an awesome video utilizing stats, as a uni student that studies stats I love this!

Ive only been seeing Mill the entire season. Its actually been really fub because I was playing lippy all season.
The ultimate mill counter. I remember playing Pavetta in Blue Stripes and seeing them concede back in the day too.

Always amazed me how different decks, people come up against if I were to make a chart like this I would think NR was maybe 5% little less maybe. but definitely most NG players then SK I was surprised I didn't see more to SY after the buff but it is a difficult faction so I get it.

It is interesting to see! And all of my games were between 2400-2500 fmmr in pro rank after the first day or so after the rank reset.

Hi im new at this game and i want to check some of the decks you menction and see what are they about but idk where to look. Where can i find this decks or at least the SK Raid Warriors (Fury) deckslist and strats
The Playgwent website has a deck guide section where people post share decks. You can also see different decks by looking on UA-cam or searching for a meta snapshot/report although I'm not sure how consistently people update those nowadays.

Actually, I do mainly play the decks you guys see in the videos. I usually play some games with each one before recording the videos and a few after to test the changes I mention at the end. When I'm not recording deck videos (usually at the end of the season) I tend to just play the decks I like which was Harmony, Rain, and Passiflora this time.
To be honest I don't usually try to climb the ladder and just play decks I like or that I think would be interesting to do videos on. One or two seasons a year I do see how high I can get, but usually just in the last week or so of the season.
