Five years ago, Chester Bennington tragically left us, but we continue to keep him alive through his music and his voice that were immortalized in history.
I decided to make this video with the Hollywood Bowl Live Tribute in 2017 with Chester's live vocals. I started this project months ago but never planned on finishing it, but I think it would make a good tribute to watch him sing one last time with the crowd and the fans he always loved, I hope you like it :)

Every time I see Chester sing it brings tears to my eyes. I love this song so much, and always sing along to it, it's like he's still here.

For the last few years I have been struggling massively with depression. Earlier on this year I came to the point where I was having suicidal thoughts. I never had intentions to do it but the thoughts were there. But Chester passing and listening back to all the songs, it's put into perspective just how relatable some of what he was going through actually is to my circumstances. It made me realise just how close I actually was to doing something that would damage my loved ones lifes. To rip my child's life apart. It was a massive wake up call. Since then I have pulled myself up from the ground and fought for what I love in this world. For what makes me happy. I still have my bad days but they are fewer than they used to be. The struggle is real. Depression and mental health isn't a joke. The mind is a dangerous weapon. People need to talk more. Share the load. Let people in to help.

We are all damaged goods one way or another but suicide is not the way. I've been there myself before. In truth we all just seeking answers and when face even more questions it's makes it hard to deal with it. Life is a journey, no one said it will be easy, even people who seam to have it all sometimes go through some tough shit. I wish there was a button that you can press when you need to change wavelength... You are stronger than you think, just start to believe in yourself.
I'm right there with you, man. This year has been absolute shit for me for a lot of reasons. 3 months ago, I lost my father to prostate cancer. He & I had a very close bond when I was growing up & when he died, I became very depressed to the point that I've spent the entire next week crying. For the record, I did not & do not plan on taking my own life. But there are moments where I don't wanna wake up anymore & I wanna be with my dad. But I know that if that happened, I'd leave my mom, my sister, & everyone that I love & care about behind. I know that he wouldn't want that to happen & I don't wanna do that to them. I know that my dad is watching over me every day & he's making sure that I'm okay. More importantly, he'd want me to continue living my life every day & just be happy.
I just hope chester knew how much he's music helped so many people . Never forgotten x
