This was awesome. That's what makes seeing live music so special. That crowd knew every word ,but didn't know each other and they all shared this moment together. Much Love.

This may just be my theory, but I think Chester’s voice and Mike’s lyrics were able to help so many people put into words the chaos that so many of us have in our minds. For me it was as if someone FINALLY captured the raw emotions of being a confused and lost teenager or even just someone who struggles with depression into tangible words and that somehow made the pain easier.

I was at work when I heard, I broke down in tears to the point my boss had to send me home for 3 days. It was like a piece of my soul was ripped out and taken from me, and to this day, I still havent fully recovered, the pain is still there, I've just become so numb that I cant feel it there.

3am and the words are just burned into my memory.
    I’m balling my eyes out.
Rarely is a crowd so in sync and word perfect with such a loose format.
This song means so much to so many people.
“Do not go gentle into that good night, / Old age should burn and rave at close of day; / Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”

I'm tired of being what you want me to be
Feeling so faithless, lost under the surface
I don't know what you're expecting of me
Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes
Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow
Every step that I take is another mistake to you
Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there
Become so tired, so much more aware
By becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you
Can't you see that you're smothering me?
Holding too tightly, afraid to lose control
'Cause everything that you thought I would be
Has fallen apart right in front of you
Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow
Every step that I take is another mistake to you
Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow
And every second I waste is more than I can take!
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there
Become so tired, so much more aware
By becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you
And I know I may end up failing too
But I know you were just like me with someone disappointed in you
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there
Become so tired, so much more aware
By becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there
I'm tired of being what you want me to be
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there
I'm tired of being what you want me to be

I'm not even an avid fan of Linkin Park but I've heard a few of their songs (Numb, New Divide, What I've Done). I had this video in my recommendations and thought I'd given it a watch. As a man who doesn't really cry much, I was astounded at how - within the first 20 seconds of the crowd singing - I was already on the verge of tears. And once the chorus hit, I was almost in tears. I don't know whether it's the knowledge that it's in memory of Chester, or the sheer beauty of the crowd singing, but I think this is one of the only videos/songs to ever make me feel the emotions I felt, in such a short space of time.
Whoever is behind this channel, from the bottom of my heart I thank you for putting this wonderful video on UA-cam.

back in 2018 i was in a really dark place. i knew i had people that loved me and cared about me family and friends, i am privilaged for that but i also felt like a massive weight for everyone and
but i still had so much pain and rage and guilt that i never shared, and i well while i never attempted it, a couple of times i would go out at 3 oclock in the morning looking for trouble, expecting the worse. i thankfully got out of that dark place.
point is, we don't what a man that is suffering holds inside, its not hard to pretend that everything is ok, i did it a lot. and sometimes they don't see a way out but that one. he was selfish to do it sure, but also we are selfish for wanting him back
