My guess is that the Clown Car and the Rainbow Road scenes are "tag team super moves". So, we'd have "super moves" for the individual characters (like the scenes where Geno charges his laser guns and Mallow has the electric aura), and "super moves" for certain team combinations. If Mario is still force-deployed, then the scenes would be associated with each combination of two non-Mario party members, and they can either include Mario (like the Clown Car scene) or not include him (like the Rainbow Road scene).
This is a pretty good guess but Mario’s hat is actually visible on the bottom of the screen during the rainbow scene. Super tough to notice lol. So they probably all include him.
@@murmilio42069Not to mention in the desert scenes with Mario and Peach, you can see for a second Peach whips out a Super Star, most likely to give it to Mario in order to power him up
What the heck ur right, I looked back and saw his mouth moving. We haven’t heard any voices yet though. Wonder they all get actual lines or just little sound bites like bowsers sounds in the original
@@murmilio42069 most likely every other character outside of the main stays like bowser, Mario, and peach might talk Mario Rabbids did a similar thing where everyone else talked except for them
@@terabitez3374I thought Mallow and Geno would have just small voice lines but now that you mention Mario + Rabbids (where there was full voice acting in different languages)... SMRPG fully voice acted in Castilian Spanish now sounds like a little possibility!!
Add in all the cut enemies and the different visual armor pieces that was in the concepts! Also, wishful thinking, a magical item like a book that collects the enemy magic like a Final Fantasy Blue Mage for your party to use!
YO. Bowser did have a lackluster special move list. Instead of that, U could have recruit enemies since his goal is to rebuild the koopa troop. He could call them into battle to attack. It would be super cool but is indeed Super wishful thinking LOL
The Toads in this game are definitely unique like the original game, thankfully. You can see the Chancellor in the castle. You also see Raz and Raini (the married couple) on Yo'Ster Isle in that scene. I'm hoping there's bonus content or a hidden/optional party member like Luigi or Croco. They also removed the subtitle "legend of the seven stars", so maybe they've added a bonus star. Wishful thinking haha. Maybe Star Hill finally has a boss. That star always felt too easy.
Im so bummed that the cut the Geno cameo fro Superstar Saga remake. I mean c'mon it wasn't hurting anyone in the original. It was a cool easter egg that I missed out on as I never got that far in the original when I was younger and I never really played the original Mario RPG. But I'm a big fan of Mario and Luigi series and looking forward to this remake.
When the trailer cuts to the scene outside peaches castle with the party all out there is a path to the left of the castle. That path didnt exist in the original.
Heya. I did my own analysis stream. I would like to point out something that few others have noticed thus far, and it's that there's now AoE damage from the Noknok Shell regular at the very least. It was definitely not there in the original, and it's clearly a core gameplay change as well. It's likely that the game will get TLC, and that's enough to convince me to actually get a Switch, after 6 years of being frustrated with Nintendo's corporate mess.
Yo thats a nice catch. I wonder what else they are gonna change. IMO the fire and ice bombs are OP so they might get nerfed and then maybe some other weapons since a lot of them are just plain atk up
@@murmilio42069 I imagine enemy stats will get improved across the board to counterbalance the mechanic changes. What we see already favors the player. And those enemy stat improvements are bound to do things like cause the Lazy Shell Armor's ATK reductions to come into sufficient play. As you added, equipment no longer has to be pure different levels of power, which is already promising. I can expect that Lazy Shell will lose plenty of ATK to avoid letting it trivialize Smithy's first phase. Either that or the Shypers will have counterattack capability and enough durability to avoid 1HKO by the splash, a concept that already worked in Super Mario RPG Revolution by WaddlerD where Axem Red got a Cleave counterattack that while blockable still was able to hit like a truck to make sure crowd control wasn't a mindless obvious solution against the Axems.
if geno isn’t in the game or something i’m not even mad i hate geno i loved that he was removed from the super star saga remake that’s one of the aspects that i prefer about the remake but overall i’m still excited for this remake i haven’t played this game since i was a kid but anyways nice video keep up the good work my friend

@@murmilio42069These are definitely tied to the meter super attacks. Mario will be in every one of them, since he is always part of your party.

Geno also talks in his battle cutscene which implies voice acting

Lol I think Luigi would be hype. All he got was the parade in the original. And star hill would be great if they include some more content in it

Il just point this out, in the trailer, 2 toads with unique getups can be seen walking together, do with that, what you will

Nm looks to be marrymore probably.

I hope they add secret weapons

Watch them cut levels/experience and weapons and armor since Nintendo likes ruining RPGs
Example paper Mario origami 🤣
things will definitely be changed but im hoping the rpg gods at square will keep the game good
