If I go into a store and buy a new blaster I'm walking out with it in the box it came in. . Simple as that. If it's in a box nobody can see it.

Always a few idiots to ruin it for everyone. Politicians are responsible for ruining our hobby also. Similar to a drunk driver who kills someone and then everyone has restrictions put on them while driving.

I bought a gel blaster from you guys months ago, it was so easy, no gun license number required - came shipped to my house and parcel was left unattended in which I was shocked to see it still there, despite having parcel theft in my area which is becoming more high as we live near commission housing a few blocks away.
I enjoyed having it shooting a few cans here and there in my garage. I then started to question myself that these toys have to be illegal. Anyone under 18 could buy these. I then wanted to dispose of the gel blaster and notified my local police station. As I thought of the consequences that it could entail; a situation if a burglar was to break into your home and find the gel blaster they would steal it and maybe use it to commit other crimes or to scare the public. So I done the right thing in my defence to surrender the toy to police and they came back and had issued me to go to court for possession of an imitation firearm. Copped a major fine and landed my name in the local newspaper, what is the justice here?

I bought a Glock and Rifle all I did was walk in handed the cash asked for my specific Water blaster and walked out. I think Guns are misunderstood and toys are misunderstood. Guns in the hands of civilians should be used only for hunting or target shooting. Gel blasters are more for enthusiasts who like to play sport or own something without having to license it. Also it’s just water and gel. It’s like a water pistol

Not trying to be a dick, legit curious... are retailers exempt from some of these regulations? There're hundreds of blasters in store, not locked or hidden away.
There's a clear disparity between those who think a locked house, or room within a house is okay, while others are saying only a locked cabinet will suffice to satisfy regulatory requirements.
For those of us with a large collection, already on a similar display as the one behind Gilly in store in this video... is this okay if I live alone and the display is not visible from outside the property, if the premises is kept locked and anyone entering the premises is advised of the blasters before entry?
This seems to be a grey area with varying opinions and I can't get a straight answer from anywhere. And if nobody there knows, which regulatory body would I need to contact to get a definitive answer?

The box blasters come in are good for keeping dust off the blaster but that's about it. I wouldn't recommend carrying the blaster in the box it came with as it does not keep the blaster sturdy and safe whilst in travel. But it is up to you.

My actual gun bags have "Ruger" on them. The point is, only bring them into public where it's appropriate. IF you need to carry it to the shop on a bus or train carry it in a non-marked one. If it's from the car to shop or game field it doesn't matter. You're in the shop car park walking to the shop with a large bag. It's obvious what's in there. It's location appropriate.

this is what ive been saying for years about airsoft. The government isn't afraid of toy guns. Theyre afraid it will garner interest in real firearms and skirmishing wargames. over the last decade the government has been getting more controlling. its easier to control an unarmed populace. (the last sentence is bordering on tin foil hat but eh.)

I think the locked bag this is a miss interpretation. If your bag is in a locked car, that is the lock. It m St be out of sight. That's the laws regarding actual guns so I don't see why blasters would be stricter.
