    It's so sad that there's only one gel blaster store in South Australia, AND the fact that they have to be LISCENSED!
    Hope the situation improves. Btw the video quality is really stepping up, good job!

    Doug worked hard and invested a lot of time, effort and $$$ to give us a shop in SA, rather than buy interstate thru him...Support him as much as you can. I don't believe that these laws are not necessary for all types of blasters, but with them new options are available that were not able before, so it is still a crapfest. I have continued to purchase as much as possible from Doug during the amnesty and saw the growing stages of development. Thank you to Doug and family for giving us a chance to have a local shop.

    Living in Queensland where there is stores 10 minutes in every direction and seeing the carry on other states makes me thankful to reside here. I couldn’t imagine how frustrating it must be to even test your gun legally down there.

    It’s so sad to hear that gel ball players in SA had to send their gel blasters to a real-steel fire arms dealers just to get the blasters in the state. The situation in SA is crazy and I can only hope they improve for u guys. Unfortunately Canada might be taking a step in that direction with airsoft and the only ways to own airsoft guns will be having a license that hasn’t existed for 30 years that you can’t register to get anymore or having sci-fi airsoft guns that don’t resemble real steel guns and that’s about %1 of the airsoft market. Best of luck to you SA gel ballers.

    • @StrathpefferJunction
      @StrathpefferJunction 3 роки тому

      If they're dead cert on trying to ban, you need to push for something like the UK has. Limitations on who can buy airsoft guns (actual skirmishers etc) but with that you can still buy any type of airsoft gun and there's now a thriving industry and sport.

    Yeah, I and my mates were trying to start a Gel blaster business in making high-quality HKs Gel blasters.
    Business tanked when the new laws hit before it took off. But we are trying our best to follow the ridiculous laws, we bought a safe but are still waiting on the paperwork to go through.
    Though, I still think this Gel blaster law is to monetise the sports, from the reports of the number of people applying for the license to own a toy.

    If only airsoft was cheaper in my country and everyone's actually interested on the hobby, in my country airsoft is so unpopular that there's literally no rules about it and there's only 1 airsoft store in the whole country.. the reason why it's unpopular is beacause of how expensive it is literally an airsoft blowback pistol has the same price as a used motorcycle and people just find it a waste of money since you could literally get a motorcycle (wich is very popular here) instead of some toy pistol and it's probably also beacause of our low income, yes there are cheap airsoft springers but come on those are boring and no one here finds it interesting (also beacause of the bad quality) yes there are gel blasters that are cheaper but people here just find it more entertaining to use a water hose instead of a gel blaster. I find it weird how no one's interested in either nerf guns, gel blasters, or airsoft despite of how popular PUBG is in my county

      In any liberał state guns of any sort guns can easily get controversial to varying degrees. Even if they are just toy guns. Its kinda stupid but guns, at least here in Canada and Australia since they're mainly left-wing countries, get a bad reputation. They're extremely strict gun ławs reinforces this notion.
