- Complete fix for the knob that holds the tension bolt, to the spring on the Catapult arm. When you loosen the knob that controls the throw distance, there is no limiter to prevent you from unscrewing it all the way out.
This is not a knock on the company as we have many SKLZ products, and this is a decent affordable option to practice both offense and defense.
Note - I was still within the warranty period when this occurred but the replacement process seemed more grueling than just a teardown and rebuild. Per SKLZ customer service, you have to submit photos and and play the back and fourth game, then deal with shipping, and could take up to 3 weeks or more to have the replacement unit.
Now you can do it in under 10mins. Enjoy!
You saved me! I read on Amazon how folks made that spring come off but I was not sure how they did it! I will be careful with it now, thanks to you!
Awesomeness and sorry for the late reply. Yes! I read a couple reviews where people said it was a nightmare dealing with customer service and replacing it.. 100% design flaw. Im happy it helped you out..
Attach the connector to the spring , then attach the knob, take about 10 seconds and don’t have to take it apart

I almost made a catapult to launch this thing into the next town. LOL .. I made this video for those of us out there who enjoy taking our time and lasting longer than 10 seconds..
