Then watching me get my ass kicked by probably a bunch of kids in Battlefront 2. Sorry - I still love that game!

Переглядів 1,7 тис.4 місяці тому
#led #selfimprovement A complete look into the Govee Curtain Lights from unboxing to in-app scene selection, and install. Since this is only my 8th video, and Beast says the first 50 are usually crap anyway, no need to fill the 5,000 character description box with a bunch of stuff that you can just google. The Govee Curtain lights are super cool and while I should have used a diffuser of some s...

#rain #sleepsounds Kid tested, mother approved! I even fell asleep twice while creating this. Broke out my old video editing assets and mixed the old with the new. We'll see what happens with this one.. I made one of these for my son years ago and I think he was out like a light by the 9min mark. Hoping this helps some of you out there who have trouble falling asleep. Thanks for your support an...

SKLZ Catapult - How to fix the arm | Review | Full Test
Переглядів 1,1 тис.4 місяці тому
Complete fix for the knob that holds the tension bolt, to the spring on the Catapult arm. When you loosen the knob that controls the throw distance, there is no limiter to prevent you from unscrewing it all the way out. This is not a knock on the company as we have many SKLZ products, and this is a decent affordable option to practice both offense and defense. Note - I was still within the warr...

    This might be a dumb question but do you get the show on the other side to ?

    • @AVROB77
      @AVROB77 3 дні тому

      Not a dumb question at all. Its reversed.. There is an option on the dashboard to flip it though so you can choose which side to view the show.

    Attach the connector to the spring , then attach the knob, take about 10 seconds and don’t have to take it apart

      I almost made a catapult to launch this thing into the next town. LOL .. I made this video for those of us out there who enjoy taking our time and lasting longer than 10 seconds..

    You saved me! I read on Amazon how folks made that spring come off but I was not sure how they did it! I will be careful with it now, thanks to you!

      Awesomeness and sorry for the late reply. Yes! I read a couple reviews where people said it was a nightmare dealing with customer service and replacing it.. 100% design flaw. Im happy it helped you out..

    Don't buy these if you plan on using more than one or want to use them outdoors. Each curtain is powered by a giant 110v power brick. They advertise linking three together, but you have to give each curtain it's own separate power supply - not just connecting functions via an app. Don't get these if you care about a clean install. If you want to run more than one, you'll have extension cords all over the place. C'mon Govee, you should have designed these with the capability to actually connect them physically together. Curtain lights draw very low power, and these could have been USB, which would allow you to connect everything to an outdoor solar power bank.

      So what alternative do you suggest?

    • @AVROB77
      @AVROB77 3 дні тому

      Valid reply! Yes I agree with 95% of this as an ol school AV geek. This is a great alternative though to those of us who don't have the time anymore to wire up a pi + pixel setup. You can have a clean install with these and I could have ran everything through the wall. I just wanted a quick single window solution for the holidays that was plug and play. For the price and time (when I finally got it right), its totally worth it. Sure, it could be better in many ways, and I also hate the individual power per Curtain, but they have something to work towards in the next version.. (Hopefully) ha!

      Agreed.. Wish I used a better camera as the night shot doesn't do this justice. Lesson learned from buying an Akaso instead of a GoPro. 😆

    Thanks for the video any regrets with the exposed cables!? I need 200 feet and the pro is $700 .. I was quoted $4500 for 200 Sq feet trimlight .. a lot more money but permanent look with tracks I’m so torn of Govee are worth it

      I wanted to go that route when I was wiring my cameras, then I got to a point where it just made more sense to go with Govee. I have 5 different exterior Govee products and its just better to create a single custom scene that can be played across all 5 products (with 3 more on the way).. I get the no visible wiring aspect though. It all comes down to what your overall goal is.. Mine is to Govee my entire house.. 😆

      I need a Shed. LOL. You can't just get 1 product, as they have a product for everything. I left out the part where you can create the same automation to run across all Govee devices.
