Somewhere on UA-cam you can actually see the Squat Cobbler video. I don't know if you have seen them before but they made several side videos for Better Call Saul. Like there isa couple of fake commercials for Pllos Hermanos (Gus' resteraraunt), how to videos from Kim, Mike, and Nacho. Thery are funny. Enter in Squat Cobbler and it should pop up.

7:40 i mean, he also staged an accident to seem like a hero. Chuck's concerns are somewhat warranted, but Jimmy is clearly TRYING to be better, and Chuck won't hear it. HIs own pride as a laywer won't let him see Jimmy who he see's as cheating his way into it.

Y’all have got to react to the squat cobbler video. They made it for real as a dvd extra. It’s a little hard to find but it’s on UA-cam

Dan should count himself lucky he wasn't killed for being a liability.
I like how Kim said, "I cannot hear about this sort of thing," at the end. She's not quite telling Jim to stop committing crimes, just to not tell her about it. It hearkens to a rule among lawyers to never ask your client if they're guilty, because if they do confess a crime to their lawyer, the lawyer is obligated to report it.

We do use metric in the US in limited capacity. We sell alcohol in ml/L, dose medicine in cc/ml/mg, basically all labs operate in metric, it was taught when I went to school but that might be different state by State in 2024.

Why would Chuck be proud of Jimmy when he knows not only does Jimmy/Saul NOT deserve the job, but Jimmy will find a way eventually to ruin the opportunity?
I know it is harsh for Chuck to think bad about his brother in such a negative way, but some people are just born "BAD"! This is coming from personal experience! I'm 52 and my 54 year old brother is like Jimmy in that way. Even when he was a kid (2 and 3 years old) he always got into trouble, always taking advantage of people as well. Fast forward over 50 years later and he is still the exact same person. Only over the past 5 years he stole my mother & father's entire life savings.
My mom still loves him with all her heart and he lives with her. He is just her "baby" and in her eyes, it is just the drugs that are bad (that is a whole other story). What was the excuse when he was a little kid???

In a way Chuck is just as bad as Jimmy. He made his subordinate play the bad guy for years just because he was too much of a coward to admit he didn't want Jimmy to be a lawyer. He has this need to be seen as the successful brother because he's the son who did everything 'right'. No matter what Jimmy does, or how hard he works, Chuck will never acknowledge him, simply because he's the 'bad son', and therefore does not deserve success. He'll accept Jimmy's help when he's at his lowest, but once he's up on his feet the need to feel superior will always take over.

@theshlauf Jimmy is the one who caused Chuck's so called "illness" 1st of all. It's the ONLY reason Jimmy does those things...GUILT!!! Chuck is NOT a bad person, he doesn't break the law and doesn't hurt others (at least not intentionally).
Also, he has bailed Jimmy time after time, after time, after time!!! The last time Jimmy swore he would end all his "slippin Jimmy", criminal activities. Of course he didn't and Chuck finally realized Jimmy will always be a bad person and never change! I know Jimmy is out protagonist but it doesn't mean he is a good person. Walter White was a better person then Slippin Jimmy
      SPOILERS******
As we see in the future, the only person who could see Jimmy for exactly who he is was Chuck!

@@anthonyzarate9807 WTF? Jimmy did not cause Chuck's illness, Chuck did. It was his head, and his hangups that caused it. And the sad part is he didn't need to suffer as much as he did, He could have seeked therapy, he could have reached out to his ex-wife who clearly still cared for him. But he didn't. And instead he pushed them both away. He had to feel like he could fix it himself by just 'recovering'. He could not act in way that he would see as giving up personal power.
The only people he accepted help from were Jimmy and Howard, the only two people he could still feel superior to. Who, by god, went above and beyond to help him delay his inevitable downward-spiral, purely out of how much they loved and cared for him.
I am under no illusion that Jimmy is good person. But I'm not going to pretend a con-artist is worse than a meth-making drug lord who poisons children.
As for your final point. It's true that Chuck could clearly see Jimmy at his worst. But that's ALL he could see from his dark, lonely house.

Just because someone is charming doesn’t make them a good person. Jimmy hurts people for his own benefit and doesn’t give a damn.
