- I almost turned back. The water purifier was having issues. For awhile I kind of made it work. Kind people like Bob and Roxanne (featured in this video), and a random boater, supplied me with enough bottled water to finish this eight-day kayak journey on Lake Chelan in Washington. you are getting better and better with filming editing etc, soooooooooooo well done. and it was about time you met some nice people vs these pricks in eastern wa. i had bad luck in omak once myself. imagine a breakdown there, shucks. lake chelan i did with a jet ski several times, was mighty scary at times coming back. you are a brave soul :)

I had anxiety when your water filter was not working. Will you bring a backup in the future for these types of trips? Room service in the middle of nowhere was random and nice of those ladies. Very impressive to do this on your own Rockhopper. Thanks for taking us along on this adventure!!
I will be more diligent with checking the water purifier before I take off on long journeys to make sure there won't be any issues. In all my years of adventure, it was the first time there was an issue with it. As always, thanks for watching and your comments!

Yes, I kayaked back. So I essentially did the journey twice.
