Why Is This Off-Grid Desert Homestead Abandoned?
Переглядів 1,4 тис.2 місяці тому
There's mystery out in the California desert near the Arizona border. It was suggested I have a look at this place, as it was considered to be quite nice as desert dwellings go, and there was a ton of effort put into it: rock walls and foot paths, water and plumbing system, heating and cooking, and more. Maybe I could find clues to who once lived here and when, and try to decipher what happened...

As a British Columbian I can attest to the fact that the law here is 14 days. You can stay on crown land (aka: wildness) for 14 days... after that you have to move campsites. Considering that these folks have a stove (a very heavy stove at that) I presume they own the land they're living on.

The middle of the wood in the log cabin, is bark fibers. I'm a mason. That's what I do for a living. Why not take that old cabin apart, and rebuild it for your family?? Its abandoned and falling down. It would look beautiful with your family in it.

Instead of government giving money to the illegals they should pe giving money to the natives for removing them from all the native lands, and solar units to support the homes. If Trump gets elected, I wish that he does something to help many of these natives!

I drove many times through Navaho land despite being flat it's still bountiful to look at. I also the Mobil homes that Navaho lived in spread far apart. Most of them struggle to live to this day betray by the government for years sad, it's a hard life for those people. I am grateful for having the chance for 12 years over the road truck drive to be able to see all the nice places in the US and Canada covering 2Million mile and getting to see and meat people from different place and cultures not many people get that chance.

How come there weren't any prophecies to foretell of these abuses? I keep hearing of so-called Indian wisdom. And couldn't Indian healers fix anything? And as for the terrible reservation conditions -- there are no laws that demand that Indians live on those. But they continue to call their land sacred. I guess another word for sacred is hell.
