- Today we have a go at Simba's missiles evasion training mission. The idea is you have to fly a heavily loaded fast jet 200 miles through Turkey while avoiding copious amounts of soviet-era SAMs.

I fear Simba may have been correct?
There are 3 SA-10's and 11's up on those lower mountains that you can not hide from and it is very hard to make it all the way to incerlik with out getting shot.

4:27 fun fact, if this was irl, and CAP being Super CAP, as Simba flys over this Sam site inverted, Cap would be most likely be horking his guts out and might’ve even shack’d the target. (Wouldn’t the canopy have to be open?) Haven’t you seen any GR videos? There are some spectacular irl ones too rookie viewers, which is valued viewer gold.

that map bug has been there the whole time. the map existed. 😉 I have attempted this mission in almost every module in game.

Oh that. last bit a made me almost poop my self many times being focused on trying to evade and then exploding at random moments. lol thats why I say don't look back. I have looked back just in time to see the missile hit me in the face and explode a few times. its scary when the happens lol.

I made that mission for myself and some friends to get more comfortable with flying low and not panicking.

It would be interesting to have a race where you're either screaming along on full burner but it's long enough that you have to refuel - or you go at mil power without refueling.
With or without drop tanks? And no, conformal tanks don’t count.
so the F-15e really has crap loads of gas. I made this mission before the F-15e came out and everything else was loaded out with a standard air to ground bombing load out so that you had to conserve gas and manage your speed. thanks for watching.

Simba is a superlative pilot. Other than vomiting from G forces and cleaning grass stains from the bottom of the plane, I had a great time riding along. Now I must go and change my underwear.

Killer mission Simba! And having Cap along to give us visuals and narration with your flying skills is just a perfect combo. There are certain SAM's I have no fear of, there are some I cringe at. The older ones like the SA2 are like the American Patriot original series (PAC 1). Just a joke to defeat. But the later PAC 2's and 3's and the SA10's and up are lethal af. The worst is the Tor SHORAD. I don't think I have ever beaten one of those.

yeah the mission had a desired path for most missiles to be shot at you but but I had to eliminate way points when I did it in the F-14. so it was kind of hard to describe the exact path to fly so showing was just easier.

yeah they have been there for years and I haven't seen anyone report it on the message boards. I was reluctant to using it on a video as I was wondering how long they would stay there before people noticed.

Fc3 is as close as you’re gonna get, dcs is a high fidelity sim it’s about realism and accuracy not easy. If you need easy controls play warthunder
THAT WAS SOME GREAT FLYING I HAVE TO SAY!!! I SO WISH SIMBA & GS (Growling Sidewinder) COULD DO A BEST OUT OF THREE MATCHES IN BVR & DOGFIGHTING! I BELIEVE THEM TWO ARE THE BEST TWO PILOTS I HAVE SEEN IN DCS! THEY SHOULD FIGURE OUT THEMSELVE HOW THEY WANT TO FIGHT, EQUAL WITH SAME JETS AND PAYLOADS OR WHETHER THEY WANT TO USE DIFFERENT JETS & LOADOUTS AGAINST EACH OTHER. BUT BOTH SHOULD STAY IN THE SAME GENERATION. I WOULD PAY BIG BUCKS TO WATCH THAT! OR EVEN BETTER TEAM vs TEAM. SO TEAM GR vs GS & HIS BUDDIES WHICH HE HAS PLENTY OF TO USE. TOXIC & LONGSHOT ARE TWO RIGHT OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD!
