Introducing Shooting To New Shooter Kai With The Savage Rascal

- Introducing shooting to a youngster is a distinct privilege and must be done with care. It's all about the newbie. The experience must be tailored to the particular youngster or newbie. And the teacher must be ready to go slow if necessary, and allow moving forward if that is indicated. The goodness must be reinforced with huge doses of safety as without safety, there is nothing. With safety, and the world of shooting greets with open arms. Put signatures on the experience and the memories cue in for decades to come...

Many Thanks
That's some great times!
That's awesome I remember my grandfather taught me me the fundamentals when I was a kid, invaluable knowledge & skills that are lifelong.
Your grandson did a great job for his first range trip. Nice to see a new generation learning to shoot safely with good fundamentals. Hopefully he will be able to pass that tradition on to his grandchildren someday. And you did a good job too grandpa. Thanks for the video.
I have been teaching Chinese kids English for 13 years. I really appreciated your pronunciation lesson.
Yes I got the scope right but not the Sako, It sounds better the way we say it anyways.....😇
That's fantastic , my grandson is only two, got to wait a few years. Great Job FC
If it's an option, a supressor is a great option too for new kids learning to shoot. Looks like you taught him well Steve, but I think you had more fun than you can contain !! Good job 👍
Glad you shared this experience with us here. Good job teaching about firearms and the joy of the mechanics of manual loading. The boy can really appreciate the feel and sound of the workings of this excellent rifle. Outstanding job.
The joy in his eyes... man I really need to call my grandparents.
Next video: Kai reloading a .38 special, from the beginning to the end.
Passing the knowledge to the next generation. Getting the itch to shoot my CZ452, but rainy in Kitsap. Looks like Kai had a wonderful time.
That’s GREAT!! I think he outshoots you!! 😀😀😀. So happy for the both of you!! Memories in the making.
Great Times Introducing a Young Shooter Too The Fun of Shooting 😊😀😊👍🏼 FC Steve
Cute !
That’s what it’s all about
Great rifle. I had one until the kids outgrew it. Sold it to a buddy that used it for running trap lines, but now he has a boy that is growing into it.
Awesome!!! The first shot i had my sons shoot was a 12 gauge to understand & respect fire arms. They understood lol.
I always savor the moment to teach new people about firearms, especially young kids or teenagers
How many times have we seen people who are really into firearms now that joyfully remember their first time shooting because of a nice person who showed them the way? Its really a good feeling to be that person for someone
Good to challenge and encourage the youngsters with guns and making good shots!
Outstanding. This first time at the range, whether at the lanes or out in the woods, is an event and experience that we can never forget throughout our lives and hopefully will build a continuing relationship with the sport.
Kia's Grandfather must be proud.
Great Sunday morning to everyone. Thanks for the video. Remember in this old world full of evil. Jesus Christ is the answer ✝️🙏
Nice video FC45,
I like Savage Arms. Decent firearms at an affordable price.

Awesome rifle . Looks like goid times soon.
I bet that you were very happy to hear that your grandson wanted to learn how to shoot a firearm . I think that there will more fun range sessions and hunts with grandpa in the future.
Good job grandpa.
Great job on saying Sako correctly 🙌 been hearing it mispronounced for years since I have several of their guns and are my main hunting rifles because of their great quality!
👍
That's great, cookie.. best grandpa ever!
Great video.
Good goin' Kai!
You're a Natural gun guy!
The Umarex made HK MP5 22lr is a fun youth gun after the single action. No recoil and its probably featured in some call of duty or another so the kids know and love it.
Good Video/Info.
WOW...I never knew on those pronunciations! Good to hear from you, friend!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸💪😍
Way to go Kai!!
Thats the best!!!
👍🏻
My first shot was with an 870 and a deer slug, flattened me out like a pancake.....lol

just like clip for magazine, i really dont care what people call em, as long as you know what they mean. i found when i was in engineering, the people that fixated on the words were the least experienced. the people that didnt care, focusing instead on the function, were the top ranked in their field.
Language is about communication, and if someone wants to call a magazine a clip, or a sako a Seiko, mark it down to slang or alternative pronunciation... it doesnt matter. As they say, a rose by any other name is still an F&*#ing rose....and due to genetic manipulation, doesnt smell at all.
Stuff that drives me a touch crazy, all the brands that people pronounce badly, especially with what little effort it takes to look up the pronunciation and do it correctly. Then when someone calls them on it, they really couldn't care less how to say it properly. Chiappa, Leupold, Lapua, Aguila, Sellier & Bellot, Fiocchi, Canik, Heckler & Koch, Sako, Uberti, etc.
