Best advice when using a pressure washer with interchangeable tips? When you first pull the trigger to spray, treat it like a firearm for a second pointing away from anything you don’t want to destroy. Many people have learned this the hard way by blowing out windows because they didn’t fully secure the tip. No repair is cheap anymore but some SUV rear door glass replacement will make a grown man cry.

I found out the hard way being stupid. I was trying to powerwash my brush and held it with my hand. As soon as I pressed the trigger the blast was so strong it knocked the brush out of my hand and sliced right thru my hand like a knife thru warm butter

And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall. The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.
If you want to get into detailing your own car, a pressure washer is a must. RYOBI’s is cheap enough to not break the bank, and will still get the job done. Just make sure to not wash your car in the middle of the day. Wait for the sun to go down. Water spots are a pain especially if you have to work on the paint job.
I bought that pressure washer from Direct Tools Outlet as a reconditioned unit quite some time ago. It works great for car washing and has never failed me. I just wish the electrical cord could be removed for easier coiling. I'd be happy just using an extension cord plugging directly into it, like with some of the hybrid 18V tools The PW is very lightweight and easy to set up. I use a stubby gun as I'm not a big fan of wands, especially with a foam cannon attached.
I have green works pro 2200 and bought the obessed garage package for it which came with the mtm cannon, hose very high quality never kinks either, spray tips and a washing wand totally worth the price for all these things. I get really good thick foam. And it takes thick foam to actually remove dirt. I'm not really a big fan of ryobi pressure washers.

I've heard different opinions about this so I want to get yours. Is it safe to use a high psi gas pressure washer on a vehicle without damaging the paint?
just make sure you don't get close or you will damage the paint. If you can safely spray it on your skin then its safe enough for the paint. hope that helped.
Agree with logan, another tip with a pressure washer is keep it moving not only getting to close but don't stay in one spot to long either I've seen that cause damage as well

I just bought mine and it has a weird smell to it. Didn’t work well in the first minute but after that, it was good. Should I return the pressure washer?
@@loganpriceofficial i returned it and got another one. Thanks for showing that step to let the air out of the pressure washer. I didnt do that on the pressure washer i returned.
Hey I’m looking to buy a good pressure washer soap. I noticed that you didn’t scrub the car after foaming it. Is that not required when using the foam?
it depends on how dirty it is. 90% of the time yes you'll want to use a microfiber wash mitt but I was just showing how much foam it made for the video. my car was already pretty clean. thanks for watching!

Hey Logan, it’s definitely not what kinda soap u use or the temperature of water. It’s GPM. In order for a foam cannon to shoot out some real thick foam ur cannon has to have a 2.0 gpm flow and so does ur pressure washer
U can just get a smaller orifice to compensate for the smaller gpm and still create a lot of foam but then it still won’t creat super super thick foam like higher gpm so ur right kinda
Great video 👍 A very often debated subject is how to rinse a car. When handwashing it doesn't matter, but when using a foam cannon you cover the car with foam. Then you use the high pressure to get rid of the dirt. It's very important to not miss a spot. Rinsing horizontally starting from the bottom makes it easier to keep track on where to rinse. Starting from the top will make the water flow down on the foam and you'll loose track on where to rinse next. Yes rinsing from the bottom will take more water and will take longer time. But it will give you a cleaner car. Try to be very methodical rinsing horizontally line by line from the bottom. Cheers!
i have one of these same pressure washers. very good unit. ive washed a lot of things with mine, has plenty of power and can easily clean mud off of cars and grime off of concrete and you name it. it even comes with a turbo nozzle too.
Not a bad video tbh. I did notice your paint after rinsing. No protection! Try waxing it to keep the paint looking good! And a touchless wash is not a good idea btw.
For the plug in you suppose to elevate it like put it on a upside down bucket and put the plug and the extension cord on top it it so water won’t be running under it or through it
