While the film may not to be everybody's taste, this is a great scene.
If you had to pick your favorite part 3 movie would it be this one or the karate kid 3 or back to the future 3?
@@jeahavvalentin980It is actually neither of those for me. My favorite part 3 movies are Goldfinger, The Bourne Ultimatum, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
@@Victory-in-YAHUSHA Great choices
@@jeahavvalentin980 Thank you
Axel foley saved the kids from hanging out the bloody cabin. Those bitch guards have done this
That jump sequence at 3:10 is one of the craziest stunts i have ever seen, props to the stunt team for making this one of the stand out set pieces of the entire franchise
That stunt could have gone horribly wrong.
Gréat stunt 🖤✔️👑💎🔥
3:16 is amazing as well
@@damo220that shot was used heavily in the marketing.
gotta be cgi shit you really think they risk this shit
The Axel Foley from the first two films would have never jumped from ferris wheel to ferris wheel. But when kids' lives are on the line, it is hard to tell.
It's total nonsense, he's not Bruce McClane! Ridiculous sequence
@@PayneToTheMax Fun Fact: This film's screenplay started out as an idea for an unmade Die Hard film.
OG Axel would've talked the ride into stopping.
Why would Axel have gotten onto a ride and wave at villains in the first place? What was his plan? They were just gonna get him when he got off. The point of running is to escape why trap yourself?
@@eddierascalhaskell4954 "Hello Ride, this is Johnny Wishbone from the Island of St. Croix, here to predict that you are going to stop any minute now and put those little kids down, don't even mess with me on this now ride, I traveled all this way just to predict this for you..."
Holy shit, that was George lucas that was about to get on that ride
You saw it to 😅
It was a George Lucas lookalike
@@user-ih8qm5dy3lno
@@user-ih8qm5dy3l nope that was really George Lucas. He was brought in for a cameo.
I knew it I’m like is that George Lucas 😂. Such a random scene
The background music to this scene really made it pop. Sounds like a video game fight boss song lol
🤭
I really like the music in this scene
I cant remember exactly but its the same chord progression and tone from the toy story sega game. I dont remember exactly what portion its on but i do remember the meter and tone
Even though this movie is generally disliked, I still enjoyed it very much.
I think it would have been a great stand alone movie about Eddie as a cop investigating a crooked theme park it just didn't make sense as a BHC sequel
3:30 the mascot looking up always got a chuckle out of me
Same here
George Lucas made a cameo
The funniest part is where he's waving to the 2 guards from the ride😂😅
Not as funny as the train saying before and after getting stepped on by the corrupt guard " ahh happy place very happy happy ahhh! " 😂

I like that jacket Eddie Murphy is rocking
Browns fan but love it too😂😂😂😂
1:11 As amazing as Eddie Murphy is, I swear this scene with the little train screaming makes me laugh the hardest.
Detroit might actually be good this year
That’s his characters signature attire.
@@lukedaley17 Fell in love with that jacket in 1987, made a couple DIY's over the years. NFL's licensed one is a thing of beauty. Too bad they abandoned it in the upcoming movie.
All I can say about Beverly Hills Cop III is that it had its moments. And this is one of them.
RIP Happy train! 😢
Yep I say the same

This movie is definitely on par with the karate kid 3 and back to the future 3
Man. Those guards would have gotten jumped rushing a guy that's just saved two innocent children lol.
Me too
Apparently, no one is considering the extreme level of rope burn Axel would have sliding down the rope like that.
Agreed. I probably would've wrapped bits of t shirt around my hands.
Say what you will..but this was a hell of a stunt. Props to Eddies double.
1:30 hate that one villian he couldnt wait a few seconds for foley to come down
Axel Foley is a supercop. The only thing missing on this guy is a cape.
Eddie should’ve been in The Expendables
That Lions jacket IS Axel's cape!
@@DMalltheway Rumor has it that a couple action stars were asked but turned it down. Clint Eastwood said no, but was willing to direct one.

Man that scene kinda scared me when I was watching this as a little kid but I’m glad the kids are ok thank god
i remember when i was like 4 watching this. at 3:36 made me really scared because of the music and the fact he was hanging upside down
The mascots staring up in amazement make this scene so much better.
Probably the best scene in Beverly Hills cop 3
I don't know what people were talking about. This was cool.
Ah these old movies. Cant wait to see the new movie of this. This was a great scene.
The last scene where he rescues the kids and all he gets for it is a two men tackle 😂😂😂😂😂
George Lucas cameo. I love it!
I was just at Great America where this was filmed. Too bad that ride is gone now 😭
Well you saw the ride wasnt safe in this clip
Yup, the old skywirl was safer than it looked but still terrifying of an idea.
Brave stunt man.
1 of my favorite movies ever outta the series and they making a new 1
this is actually where Railblazer (California's Great America) is standing now
I just realized something: In one of John Landis’ movies, The Blues Brothers, Steven Spielberg makes a cameo appearance. In this one, it’s George Lucas!
0:51 After all these years watching this movie I just noticed that George Lucas cameo 🙄
🤭
Its like poetry, it rhymes.
This scene and the Jon Flint character were probably the only things in this movie that were actually good
Jon Flint by actor Hector Elizondo

Pretty Woman
American Gigolo
The Princess Diaries 1&2
Cuba
The Fan
The Taking of Pelham 123

Chicago Hope
Last Man Standing
After watching this several times and analyzing it carefully, this is what I’ve concluded from my favorite scene in this movie: it’s not great but not terrible, just okay. I’m not just analyzing this scene by itself, I’m analyzing it in terms of how it does as a sequel, as a sequel needs to tick a few more boxes to be truly great.
I'm not sure why Axel is walking like that at the beginning, like he's expecting something to pop out at any moment. So far, he doesn't really have a reason to worry. Sure, he used an entrance that he probably wasn't meant to use, but no one knows and he's walked past several people at this point, so they can't catch him out.
When being shot at, anybody’s first instinct is to dive for cover, but Axel stupidly stands in the same spot and takes a second to get his gun and fire back. He didn’t know how many gunmen there were and there were two good places of cover right there for him. It makes him look stupid when he’s been established as very smart several times. However, him running for the exit immediately shows a degree of common sense, so that’s good. And he very quickly defends himself too, showing he’s quick and a good fighter. Nice consistency there with the previous two movies. And one more thing, Axel’s two shots were pretty close to the guard so he’s a pretty good shot, again nice consistency.
As I mentioned with Axel looking like he’s keeping a close eye out for something to pop out, I’ll point out how the second guard upstairs was running and clearly made noise, which would catch a cautious Axel’s attention, especially in a quiet corridor, but it doesn’t so that’s a tiny plot hole. Also, Axel’s caution is a nice consistency from the first movie (he did it with his reunion with Mikey), but it’s mostly unfounded here as he has no reason to worry.
I do like how the second guard sort of mistimes his jump on Axel as it’s a bit more realistic and especially when Axel is moving backwards and could run at any moment, meaning you have to get the drop on him ASAP, it’s plausible. So that’s a good layer of realism added in with the character’s desire to neutralize Axel quickly.
Also, the Spider scene is completely pointless. It’s entertaining and a good display of Axel’s bravery and his care for others as well as his quick thinking, but we’ve seen that several times so those can’t be reasons to include this scene. Those traits need to be present absolutely, but they can’t be the only driving force. There needs to be a story reason and there wasn’t one here. I do like how Axel almost mistimed the jump on one of the red things (I don’t know what their name is) and he pleaded “Just don’t let go”. This makes him more human and adds more stakes too as he nearly fell to his death.
Axel waving at the guards like a child and a huge grin on his face too, while funny, was really stupid as they just tried to kill him and he picked a pretty good hiding spot only to give himself away. This is just cheap humor. It adds nothing except humor, and a kind of humor that is illogical and inconsistent with Axel’s established smartness. You might say that because the first guard didn’t try to shoot him again when the second one jumped on him that Axel knew they weren’t trying to kill him, but that doesn’t erase the fact that they were still trying to catch him and he still gave himself away. He didn’t call the police so he had no idea if they were coming.
It’s smart how Axel doesn’t go to retrieve his gun upon being jumped as he knows he’s not going to reach it and risk getting shot.
Billy and Flint’s reactions were hilarious and showed their concern and loyalty for Axel too.
😐
That hip-hop style music fits perfectly 🔥👍

Did that stuntman really jump from cage to cage like that???? What a crazy stunt scene! I don’t know, but that looks as real as it gets right there. Obviously the closeups of Eddie Murphy are fake, but those quick stuntman scenes of him jumping from cage to cage and hanging off that cage and climbing around are as real as it gets. What a crazy stuntman! That was a real ride too, it was called The Sky Whirl, and it was at Great America in Santa Clara, CA. It went super high in the air, I hated it, and I never rode it again after seeing this!
I did a bit of digging, and yeah the stunt was real. They had safety harnesses and painted out the wires after though.
I thought the same thing. That drop from the ride, while holding kids/props, was at a pretty serious height.
@@clinder27 they built stunt cars on green screen for the stunts they inserted into real ride footage. the Fake ride gondolas are missing the landing gear that were on the real Intiman ones made for the Giant Wheel in Hersheypark and the two sky wheels custom made for Marriot's great america parks as triple models the disbelef is that the ride had no locking doors engaged like the real ride.
Guy had a clear shot
2:55 the fucking smash bros gasp got me dyin.
3:12 holy shit what a stunt!

Paramount needs to get californias great america back!!!
With Levi there it most likely will be closed down
It’s being closed within ten years.
If you bang on those three levers, all the gears and chains will fall apart, and the ride will become a death trap.
Man. I LOVE THIS MOVIE TOOOOO. BUT AXEL. WAS. HELPING THOES KIDS. GET DOWN DAMMM THOES FN BAD MEN 😠😠😠😠😠
The real name of the ride was called Sky Whirl at the Gurnee park, my family used to call it the Ugly Finder for some reason. The grey looping shuttle coaster was called Tidal Wave, the black coaster was called the Demon.
This is Great America and it used to be owned by Paramount.
I remember laughing at The way everyone moves out the way when the stuff animal falls lol. They weren’t gonna try and save the kids if they fell lol
6:39 Well that was, smart move.
But you can’t take Axel to prison for that! 😠
Outfit is just like a gta tbogt
6:08 I like this scene.
I love how he’s literally running for his life, then proceeds to trap himself on a ride and literally WAVE at the people trying to kill him. I have a soft spot for this movie, but it’s not smart lol

Why do Beverly Hills Cop henchmen have worse aim than storm troopers?
Is that George Lucas who Axel cut in front of to get in the ride?
Yeah. Multiple directors have cameos thru out the movie.
Sadly, there are no more Sky Whirl rides in current operation anymore.😭

Well what do you know? 30 years since the movie's release has passed and the 4th film comes out on Netflix Netflix next week
4:30 Way to go Foley! 5:41 The kid goes no. 6:31 The kids are safe now.
*apparently the park runs on Lego technology and there is no emergency stop button.*
6:27 big shadow on kiosk in background is the “falling” cabin before it’s dropped from out of frame once they’re out of the way
What I would like to know is what happened to the other people who were stuck on the spider after Axel rescued the children
As a former ride operator and amusement park nerd, the malfunctions in the ride caused by the henchmen would never happened and wouldn't cause a malfunction like this. In all reality the operator would be able to immediately stop the ride and bring down the arm with the broken car almost immediately.
With that said, it's definitely one of those "all dudes imagine how they would singlehandly save the day" kind of imagination fantasies.
Also that dude was so impatient. I mean, where would he have gone? To the clouds? lol This movie is so dumb it is hilarious. Talk about shoot first ask questions later.
Well done axel. Thats bloody shit for those kids hanging from that cabin of that spider wheel. That cabin lost its grip from something broken
Was that a cameo from George Lucas? Bahahahaha
I know a guy at work that utilizes the underground tunnels, absolute legend like Axel Foley here, reminds me of him going through underground tunnels at work and solving crimes on the outside
Such a dope scene! Can't wait for this fourth one.
Props to the stuntman, jesus 😳
Who was he?
0:50 not even in fake Disney land George Lucas gets respect.
What a horrible idea, kids hanging with one hand and he comes to them does not support them at all and wants them to let go, this is truly evil shit
Wonder World....
AXEL!!!
Something tells me that one or both of those kids will appear in the sequel and will help Axel with the case
I was this years old when I learned George Lucas had a cameo in Beverly Hills Cop 3.
The two men who played Holloway and the other fella are L.L. Ginter and Dan Martin (Ella Joyce’s husband).
This is probably the dumbest idea ever to run from bad guys...enter a ride that you cannot escape at any time. Great stunt work, though...
Oh my God look
Look, I've seen Beverly Hills Cop III (1994) tons of times over the years. The movie had its moments and of course the cast was top notch (actor Timothy Carhart's Ellis DeWald is an underrated villain, I hated him in this film; so smug and thinking he was smarter than everyone, f*** him), but the Wonderworld and family friendly elements of this film f***** up this film's potential. The film started off in Detroit (ha, those were some back streets of some seedy parts of Downtown Los Angeles) with some top-notch action/shoot em up scenes. Then not too long after Inspector Todd's funeral, the movie went downhill when they got to Wonderworld. So sad, this movie had potential.
No way i would ever got on that..
I would sue this park into chapter 11
0:28 I swear I’ve heard that March before that was playing in the background. It’s very faint, but you could hear that march being played by some electronic instrument. By any chance, do you know what was the name of that March?
Unlike the first two, It seems that Eddie is playing a gentler laid back character here instead of a street smart, wisecracking foul mouth type.
Not the mascot closing the kid's eyes 6:11 It's actually six ten or Okay but it's funny
