Agents J and K are back...in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K's life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him - secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.

Never noticed Michael Chernus was in this movie. If you have not seen him in Patriot , stop what you're doing and see that show now. Its brilliant, and he is brilliant in it (tv show, nothing to do with the mel gibson movie)

he says that but his first thought on transport was to take another person's property and not to get in a taxi and wrack up a major tab that he'd put on the city's expense as he's part of the MiB and can do that.
He wouldn't have been able to get a taxi in that year with his skin color, also he's not yet part of MiB in that year.

Plot twist those cops went raciest just trying to get him to admitting stealing the car and they knew it was stolen because the hotel call the cops to report it stolen.
