Honestly bottom watering changed my life and I try to use it on every plant if I can. I struggled with under and over watering my plants all the time and ended up killing so many. Once I started bottom watering I noticed a huge improvement in the success and health of my indoor plants! They get just the right amount they need and I've heard it helps to encourage deeper root growth which strengthens the plants. Don't know if that's 100% true but either way it seems to be working well for me. Bonus, it makes it easier to avoid getting leaves wet on sensitive plants like my succulents and African violets, which I'm terrible at 😆.

I've been over watering my succulent so it didn't root into its pot properly. I've prepared a pot with better drainage and washed the old soggy soil of the roots, its currently sitting in the sun waiting for its roots to dry a bit before I pot it in again.
