The 25 RDX is looking "dated" - although Highly rated overall, not including the new Touch Screen (25 MDX) is a Mistake on Acura's part. No Power adjustable Steering wheel is ridiculous, and for this price a new 25 Mazda CX-70 is larger, more powerful, and offers about the same MPGs ! I was very disappointed in the InfoT. system. I'm in the Anti- TTIP camp - after 3 years in my 22 MDX Advance, I still can't used to it. It is very frustrating especially for those that drive the car who are totally unaccostomed to it!. It is terrible in AA or CP mode too, disengaging the center Console USB port to play FDs in AA mode, and the touch pad is very S L O W in AA mode as well. On the Plus side, It handles very well, and has one of the best AWD systems in the Business.
If you want to buy this class suv , but don’t like the German reliability. This is the winner compare with Nx 350 on the Interior size and driving fun . Non touch screen not a big deal.
Hey Tom... I CAN confirm... seats are outstanding for the long haul! I'm on my 4th Acura lease, 2nd RDX (I've had '21 and now am in a '23) and the I've done multiple 5+ hour trips with these. I am never fatigued. Acura seats blow most manufacturers out the water. No pressure points, even and supporting comfort for all day driving.
Way too expensive. Happy with my 2025 Honda Sport Touring Hybrid. No panoramic view, heads up(don't know what that is), nor ventilated seats but those are not important enough for me to pay an extra $10,000+ more for. Thank you. Great video. .
Honda doesn’t have SHAWD. They have just a basic AWD, so cornering isn’t as fun or confident. Also doesn’t look as good or have as good materials. Driving dynamic is also way more dull. Completely different class of vehicle for a reason…
As a current owner, the 2.0T is the same engine from the Accord and Civic Type R - it's one of the best 4 cylinder engines on the market after the Germans. Smooth and powerful, the 10-speed transmission is great above 20 mpg, though sometimes the extra gear changes from a stop provide some hesitation - but there's always "S" transmission mode to give some extra motivation and accelerate quickly. My main problem with the $56k price tag is that for the same money, the Genesis GV70 is a true rear-drive platform like the Germans, with nicer interior materials and a more luxurious feel overall - it's definitely on my shopping list.
Great overview. I wondered if you were going to mention this model/trim has NO spare tire. You didn’t. The manual steering column adjustment is kinda tacky. Still, you are an excellent rep for the dealership. Lastly, I never want a touch screen. Just another surface, grimy from fingerprints, to constantly clean. 😏
I love Acura, but…Stupid decision with horizontal phone charger, It should be vertical as zdx or new toyota crown sport has, not to eat so much space and not to move while turning. No touch screen( Also there should be 2nd row climate control at least for advance package. And why not making a hybrid model? Smth like RLX Sport Hybrid was to improve mileage and fasten the Type-S or Advance version? It was the best hybrid car, but with outdated interior and multimedia. I think if Acura facelifts RLX and put in it newest multimedia and interior style for adequate price it might be the bestseller. Or make a suv on it’s basis
STILL NO AUXILIARY 3.5mm input😡😡😡😡😡 We Don’t Care for Bluetooth and WiFi Latency. Otherwise For A 6 foot 2 Driver’s or Shorter, I’d Say The Comfort Level is Luxury and The Drive Feel is Sport… Like You Said “BALANCED” it’s Definitely a 9.5 on A Ranking Scale For The 2022 A-Specs and Newer.

No touch screen is a very big deal.
Bought 2024 Aspec……I am very happy

How do you get your hands on one of those? I’ve checked my local dealerships and they only have 3 in stock. And none of them have the color I want.
Still the best looking
I’m considering one. As far as pricing I don’t think it’s too far off as you can also spend mid $50k on a non premium nameplate these days
Love the rdx
Great review Tom 😊
Thank you!
Is there a spare tire?
I have AAA
Yes! Spare tire and extra storage compartments
My 2020 Canadian version has a spare tire. I believe the US model doesn't.
The US A-Spec trim does NOT have a spare tire. (There is a kit that can be added.)

Nice review, again!
Thank you, Frank!
Yes of course and I would rather buy this SUV.
56,000???? Wow. I feel like they should’ve kept the V6 but I’ve never driven the 2.0

I paid 50,000 out the door for 2024 Aspec
$56,000 for a 4-cylinder turbo with 272 horsepower and the same body style since 2019 not worth it.

I had a 2019 rdx a spec. Literally looks the same 😂😂
Yes, it's the same body style with only minor changes, so it's not worth trading in and spending your money.
Because it is the same😂😂😂
I would like to see a TYPE S Trim
It will be insane if they don't update 19-24 models for full-screen carplay.
100 percent agreed, especially since it's most likely a software thing.
Most people do not like it , the infotainment I mean

The RDX needs a Redesign. No cvt.
7:30 No touchscreen for $54k+ 😅
17:00 Sporty driving experience
19:00 No hybrid, OK MPG given 10 gears, no type S; BIZARRE!
Acura calls it premium. It’s not luxury.
Just buy a used low mileage 2019 that looks exactly the same for $30k or less it’s a no brainer.
Allot is carried over, from like 2019😂

Still looks antiquated. But a great suv otherwise
Fuel Economy is trash, honda needs to step up.
Like the real Guages by Acura RDX safe little mountain goat
