I had a 19 Base and I loved it. I sold it in early 22 at the height of the Pandemic (Lease buyout and flipped it for a $10K profit) But there was no reason even back then, you could not get a touch screen. Great video on the 2024 Acura RDX AWD A-spec it seems like the 2024 model doesn't have a sport plus mood, I owned a 2021 model A-spec I have comfort, sport, sport plus and snow moods. I think if torque was 320 with its 272 horse power the profarmance would be much better, look at mazda cx5 turbo/cx50 turbo both as the same turbo charge engine 256 horses and 320 foot pound of torque acura needs to step up with the torque. Your respond thanks stay safe.
This is one of the best reviews for the Acura RDX. I have a 2021 Subaru Forrester Touring. It’s a very nice car but I’m looking for something with more comfortable seating. Would you suggest trying the RDX? Or any other brands around $40,000 used.
Thank you I appreciate that. For that pricing used you can buy a lot of different vehicles. Do you want sporty styling only or both sporty styling with a sporty drive with a comfortable seating/suspension?
@ I like the BMW x3 m40i but this will be a more sporty seating and drive. Mercedes GLC 350 have the smooth suspension, seating and add the amg night package to add the exterior styling. Audi q5 is just like the Benz but service is a little less. Lexus nx350 f sport but the interior has a lot of gloss black so it can scratch and look dirty faster. Mazda cx70 it’s new for the year, very upscale a little larger than the other but awesome value. For great service and not so much maintenance I would go Audi, Lexus and Acura. If you get a chance test drive the BMW to see if you are ok with the suspension as the maintenance isn’t expensive and it’s a really fun vehicle.
Touch screen ? No I own the RDX and I hate touch screens. Fingerprints and once you learn how to use the 1 to 1 touch pad it's great don't have to raise your arms or even look at the screen. Also a type S ? Have you ever driven this vehicle ? It's amazing and if you want an extra 100hp get a ktuner with phearable stage 3.
Also need a hybrid model, higher mpg, better looking interior, increased size and pixel density of the screen, more customizable sound effect, better lane keeping system. Prices should come down to 39K for base model and 47K for advanced.
@oishi1206 Lane keeping is for lazy people that don't really want to drive. The rdx handles great and should be enjoyed. If you don't want to drive get a Hyundai, Nissan or Lexus. It's got plenty of power, you would just complain about worse gas mileage. I'm averaging around 26 mpg. I'm happy with that, it is a 4000 pound car.
My wife’s 2019 Acura RDX Just had a break failure while driving car was towed to the shop. It’s been there for 2 1/2 weeks. The electronic brake booster failed. Cars just out of warranty corporate Acura will not cover the repair at first they wanted 3000 I negotiate down to 2450 ridiculous for a newer car to have the brakes fail!!

Sad, i think acura is falling in quality. Acura used to stand behind their cars.. so people stop move your money to Toyota... it is sad!
