Just noticed, between all the abilities shown, recall is the only one to use golden energy, very similar to the effects used when Zelda uses her power in BOTW. Maybe that means something, I'm feeling like that is not a Zonai ability but more like a goddess one. Seems pretty deliberate the difference between that one and the other ones.
Long comment ahead! The initial vibe I got from the trailer was "wide as the ocean, deep as a puddle", as I feel the mechanics may get old rather quickly. It does allow for a myriad of experimentation (you weren't alone wondering what would happen if meat was attached to an arrow lol), which shows they took feedback from Breath of the Wild and all the players finding creative ways to manipulate the game's objects and physics. I have a feeling everyone will be pseudo-engineers by the end lol. I did notice the mini-map had three different values, likely denoting latitude-longitude-altitude. Great way to keep track of where you are in the world. The trailer didn't answer the most important question everyone has though: can we pet the dogs and animals? Last thing, RIP anyone with acrophobia lol.
I’m soooo excited! I only have a first gen switch back when BOTW came out. So I found it fitting that I purchase the Zelda OLED with the case and of course TOTK!
I pause it for people who haven't seen the whole trailer yet. I get annoyed when I see people comment over important information from the actual trailer, and they miss important things in the process. I'll keep your input in mind for the future though. 👍
