I put down Gallery back in March to prevent chamberbitter. I’m really excited to see how well it works! Thanks for sharing your experience with it and the pro tip about prodiamine and centipede.
Yeah I’m excited about the chamberbitter results too. Hope I wasn’t too late applying but I feel good about Gallery going forward. By the way I just checked out your video, great stuff!
Looking forward to your findings with Gallery. I have been well pleased with first Image application, few weeks later my Atrazine application, then a few weeks later dropping my mower down about a half inch for the scalping. Heavy thunderstorms last night has my Centipede very happy in the sunshine today. Hopefully, I will be in spot treat mode the rest of the season (Or pull them up).
Can't wait to hear if it suppresses the chamber bitter for you. My brand new lawn looked awful by end of June last year b/c of that nasty weed. The "lawn professionals" just shrug their shoulders and say - good luck - when I asked them for help with that one.
Thanks for the info. I’ve been scared to lay down a preemergent on my lawn because I’m trying to get it to fill in some bare spots, but my weeds are nuts this year. Gonna try this for next season.
Great info, thanks for the video, looking forward to another. I also have had issues with chamber bitter so this would be great if it works and isn't a root pruner for centipede.
Just getting into caring for my centipede lawn over here in Leeds and have learned a lot from your channel. I definitely have some broadleaf weeds but also have more crab grass and dallisgrass. Should I combine Gallery with something else for grassy weed control through the winter? What would you recommend?
You can but I would lightly tread on application of prodiamine or dimension. Those are root pruners and centipede is sensitive to those. Gallery is an awesome product
Pro Tip: If you have cenipede stolens heading into a bald spot water said stolens with Lillys moss out even if you have moss or not. It speeds up fill in 3xs faster. Has to be the Ferric Sulffate. Iron. How much liquid iron is acceptable ?
Hey, great content. I live in greater area Savannah. Is this a good pre-emergent to add to my program in the fall to be proactive? Currently do not have any weeds as my yard is fairly new. Appreciate all the good info.
Yes I use Atrazine, Celsius or Fertilome Weed Free Zone for weeds. And recommended fertilizers are linked in the description of videos. I like a 16-0-10 you can find at Lowe’s as well
I gotcha, I’ve been told it is good for broadleaf weeds… I’m having a small issue where previous home owner added Bermuda grass to fix patches. Any suggestions for herbicide to specifically target Bermuda?
Awesome information. Any idea if HD or Lowe’s sell something like this? Also, do you still need to spread out applying this from overseeding?

Yeah it’s a unique issue that’s tough to manage. Hopefully this Gallery is the answer!
Great video! Looking forward to the results of this product. Thank you
I hope it goes well. I learned the hard way using barricade on my centepede. It nearly wiped my grass out.

Yep I will let everyone know on the chamberbitter prevention. Hopefully not too late applying for this season. Thanks for watching
Looking forward to your updates!

Did it work? I’d like to know if the centipede still filled in and if it’s been a good pre emergent so far. Please lmk
To me it’s a game changer and one of the best products I’ve ever used. Will be applying going forward. Will prob do a follow up video

Yes for sure as long as you feel your new lawn is well-established by the fall. Thanks for watching
I have centipede grass and have no clue about grass. Di you know of any information for beginners?
A good place to start is to see my videos “5 things Centipede Grass DOES NOT like” and “6 Things Centipede Grass Loves”
Are you using anything else like 3in1 weed and feed, fertilizer, post emergents killer?

Thanks, I've had no results at all applying atrazine
How long ago did you apply? It takes a good 2-3 weeks to see results usually. Also make sure you follow label so the right amount is getting down
Have you ever used “Image” herbicide on your centipede?
I have but it has been years and I don’t remember if the results were good or not!

Hi Yield Grass Killer is supposed to kill Bermuda in centipede but haven’t tried it myself. Just be careful w it
