@Dhum tana na na yes it is considered a cruiser but it isn't one of those. It isn't like meteor or avenger, with low height and high handles. I don't like that type of cruiser design
Same. Looking for a first bike that is affordable. Love the idea of this but know I'll be eventually riding 2 up frequently and feel like 350 just won't cut it. But I love everything else about this bike. Super cool.
It doesn't take much to get a Classic 350 cruising comfortable at 100kmh, $5 carby jets, pod filter and a straight pipe exhaust. On a cool day it'll pull 130kmh, but that's right on the ragged, slightest hill or wind and it's losing ground. Best smile per mile bike I've ever had, simple to ride, handles quite well and takes a hammering with no complaint.
I was also facing the similar difficulty is choosing between Interceptor 650 and Meteor 350. Finally, decided to go for Meteor. Now, Keeping my fingers crossed that my decision to be the correct one 😀😀.
@@SanjayGupta02887 - Interceptor650 in any way is far much better product than meteor. You should have been gone towards interceptor if you were having that budget
I test rode the Meteor recently. Gotta say, the suspension and brakes are significantly better than the Classic and Bullet. I didn’t notice any less vibes from the engine compared to my Classic 500. But I’m really lucky with my C500 as it doesn’t seem to vibrate much at all. Overall, the 350 is definitely very refined. A great cruiser for Indian roads. Not exactly a great cruiser for high speed Australian highways but it’ll buzz along at 100-110km/h. I didn’t really feel like the Meteor 350 engine had any more grunt than my Classic 500. I did miss the extra torque that the old 500 has. In fact, the numbers aren’t close. C500 - 27hp/41Nm Meteor - 20hp/27Nm There’s the missing torque. However, while riding it, I found it to be a really pleasant putt along bike. Throw some panniers on it and go for nice little local cruises. What happened with your speedo there towards the end?
Spot-on. It is definitely improved over the Classic and Bullet, more refined. It'll sit on highway speeds, but you are right, it'll struggle if you want to push on.
Thanks, Christian! I am about that height and I was comfortable on it. It feels small for a cruiser, but the forward controls and wide handlebars make it roomy enough for taller riders. Hope that helps. - Spencer.

simple CHEAP classic thumpers is what a lot of people want, not just is AU, also europe etc. I think seasoned riders are tired of the hp race, countless shitty electronics and bikes that could do 280 kmh when even the fastest roads are limited to 120. The faults on the speedo and nav display look like serious delivered defects. Requires a recall to replace faults? Interesting bike but low top-end at 110 km/h is a safety issue for highway riding, you'll be pushed into the inside lane behind trucks limited to 80. Maybe the model with a windshield is better for the highway, or a slightly smaller rear sprocket will help.
