I own two guitar amplifiers, one Behringer, one Marshall. They're great amps, but they only go to 10. I'm not going to be able to truly wow an audience with them.
I've seen all of the Christopher Guest mockumentaries, but this is the only I love... the others felt too self-conscious to me, too "Aren't we a hoot?"
The guy who turned it up to eleven here in the film is Christopher Haden-Guest, 5th Baron Haden-Guest, spouse of Jamie Lee Curtis (The Honourable the Lady Haden-Guest) which title, she does not acknowledge. LOL She was born into Hollywood Royalty so why should she need to recognize a British Nobility title?
11 actually makes sense 1-10 are scaled. 11 is a higher scale that 10 otherwise just have everything under 1 and if other players are using amps only set to 10, the sound would be all over the place and no one would know who's playing what at what volume and the whole thing would be a catastrophe
