- Rotorquake, 1.0. Clearly having 4 Igladudes strapped onto your wings would look cool, but to save weight they just stole the launchers and left the dudes at base.
Obviously this specific guide in the series doesn't apply to the Black Shark 2 module.

Thanks volk!.... Another methodical and informative video, interesting thoughts as always!.... Looking forward to future thoughts on INS implementation etc.
Another great video, thanks Volk!
Hey Volk, ive accidently Found a good way to use the iglas with almost 100% chance to destroy the target! On manual mode, when have a missile incoming forward i can easily automaticly lock the missile and destroy it. Only if theres anything else around that can be attracted by the iglas can change his direction and miss. Otherwise its a hit everytime when you have the time to start the cooldown
You mean shooting down e.g. incoming SAMs and AMRAAMs?
I wish the AI helos wouldn't tank so much firepower. I've seen the Mi8 take close range AIM120's and live without an care.
This. All of THIS.
Was the igla actually rear aspect only irl?
IIRC older versions might have been.
Wasn’t the Iglas for ka-50 version not built ?
AFAIK, they weren't built in real life. But, seeing as it's in DCS, and I wanted to cover the cannon + Vikhrs and what they can do air-to-air, I wanted to give the complete picture of all the systems (in DCS) available.
@@volkvoort excellent vids, are you going to make videos with your rhino?
@@FGCH03 I should when I've got a good feel for it. It's really cool as yet - just need to find the ideal height/layout for my desk setup.
@@volkvoort ok we will wait for it.
