- The Shark has two primary navigation instruments: the numerically-oriented PVI-800, and the graphically-oriented ABRIS. This video describes the latter, including how to create flight-plans with the visual editor, and how to use the ERBL.

TIL...Where did you learn the add or subtract 2 to find the 180 reciprocal? This whole time I was just doing the math. Thanks for the in depth tutorials.
Someone in my flight sim group mentioned it. We have a few actual commercial airline pilots, and one former Harrier mechanic, so sometimes I get a bit of IRL wisdom thrown my way!
Yet again mate, another excellent vid , albeit with only 2 braincells in working order I'll probably watch this at least 3 times lol.
going off tangent a little, do you have deadzone / curves on pitch , roll, rudders ?, I have the warthog system and find that i just cannot get the a/c to run straight while taxiing, and while in the air I always seem to be side slipping even when the trim is dead level. any advice greatly appreciated. keep up the good work mate.👍
Thanks! I do have some pretty heavy rudder curves on the Viggen, I think it’s in the low 20s. There’s also a bind for centering the roll trim, maybe give that a few taps to make sure accidental roll trim isn’t the issue.
Just a quicky Viking, since the 2.9 update , have you been able to get the Datalink working in the Shark ?
Hey by any chance do you know how to translate the system mine is on Russian I changed the cockpit to English but the displays are still in Russian
Annoyingly, the setting is in two places, and you need to hit both.
1: Special -> Ka-50 -> Customized Cockpit -> English
2: Gameplay - > Avionics Language -> English
One does the animated stuff (ABRIS) and the other does the static cockpit stuff (basically a re-skin.) I can't imagine why someone would want those two settings to disagree, but that's how it is. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You didn't include how to draw funny shapes on the abris :3
