2:16 blows my mind how many people try to tell you that hair doesn't really effect how people treat us. You're one of the few who don't tell people that bald is fine. "Just shave it bro " I look like a f ing monster without hair. Literally look like a nightmare incarnate.
@d-man2286 switched directly mate, once I started using Oral I no longer used Topical. That is the most straightforward approach to take. If you switch immediately or take a slow bit by bit approach, your results after 12 months will be the same - so I feel it is better to make the switch immediately and get it done sooner rather than later.
@@RealityEqualsResults thanks for the response man, I’m about exactly 3 months in and started shedding around a month ago, still goin on currently. Just worried my results won’t recover from the shed
@@d-man2286 You will be in a better position at six months (e.g. 180 days post). At 1 year you will be very grateful that the Oral application is widely available these days!
Thanks for posting this vid, I took my first dose today and have been in fun for 6-7 months. I have a few questions! What dosage did you get prescribed? How significant was the increase in facial hairs? How significant was the shed? Thanks again for sharing your experience!
My pleasure. 2.5mg daily - I have been on this dosage since November 2021. I do not have any desire to increase to 5mg etc, it is not worth the risk in my view.
Slight increase in facial hair - nothing to write home about. Shed was pretty minimal but I had already been on Finasteride/Foam Minoxidil/LLLT for 3 2/3 years at that stage.
Im starting with oral minoxidil right now (one week ago) 1.25mg. Before I used Rogain for several years on off. I got alway a lot of dandruff and irritation on my scalp. Thats why I wanted to change to oral. I went to the dermatologist and they new about it (oral minoxidil for hair loss) already. I also use 0.5 mg /daily dutasterid for around 2 months now without problems. Before was on fin for several years but had more and more hairs falling out and then I switched to Dutasterid. Lets see were the journey takes me.
Bro almost the same experience as me. I was wondering how did you switch from topical to oral? I mean slowly down topical to 1/d to 1/2d...take oral 1.25 to 2.5... phase in phase out something like that? or just switched in one day? Thanks bro.
Switched immediately - 2.5mg is a very minor dosage in the grand scheme of things, but enough to move the needle hair wise. It is better to only take one form of Minoxidil from a safety perspective as well and keep it simple as opposed to trying to gradually wean off Topical Minoxidil.
Hi, I use 2.5 mg oral minox, and want to also use topical minox 5, instead of increasing to 5 mg oral, in order to avoid side effects. Is this combination recommended?
Apply Minoxidil through one method, either orally or topically. Do not combine the methods - this leads to various downsides such as difficulties in identifying your actual Minoxidil dosage.
Topical Minox = 3 months, Oral Minox = 3 months. Some experience results earlier, some later - regardless you'll get to your maximal benefit point at 2 years.
Cheers dude - I think I'm gonna give it a try. I might try it sublingually also.

Great video mate! Going to try out oral minox myself
Thank you mate - any assistance required, just pop in.
sounds like you have a good head on ur shoulders. great vid.
Thank you for the kind words.
Great video, been investigating taking oral minoxidil 2.5mg but been scared by the heart related side effects, thanks for your positive experience.
Pleasure - if you have any questions, just let me know.
@@RealityEqualsResultsdid you get back on topical a little bit alongside taking oral to help maintain the shed from switching?

Thank you for the information very helpful. How long have you been taking oral minoxidil? (ok its in beginning of video lol you said 2 years ago)
Pleasure - November 2021 was my Oral Minoxidil debut.
I'm 64 and take om, no sides except a fuller beard and full body hair. Just make sure keep a check on your BP no matter your age.
You should be able to tell if you blood pressure get to low- much easier than when it gets to high.

Thank you for sharing? Can you say what your Finasteride weekly dosage is please?
My pleasure. 1MG daily, I apply the KISS method when it comes to my dosage frequencies - not a fan of the EOD approach.

Did you carry on with fin dut (assuming you take them)?
Correct - took Finasteride throughout the process.
When did you start to see results with the min? And what's your dose

@@RealityEqualsResults great thanks, is your min dosage 2.5 daily?
