Is Finasteride worth taking? Instagram - Brewster563 Email - realityglobal2023@gmail.com
Love how you seem like you really can’t be arsed doing this video 😂 I’m on my second try of finasteride as I’m a paranoid person and nocebo myself into side effects.
Cheers dude - I think I'm gonna give it a try. I might try it sublingually also.
@@stevejhkhfda Great mate - go well.
I just started taking propecia about 5 month ago , i have a question, when finastride started working for you or even now after 6 years , do you still lose hair every ? How many hairs you lose per day ( the one that you notice )? If you wanna compare it to before starting finastride , is it less or it is the same amount still
@alirezadarvazehi1736 Finasteride continues to work for me, and I am over six years past my first dose. It's a great product in my experience and those that I've personally interacted with.
What dosage are you taking?
@@alessandromartinelli2996 2.5mg daily.
More content like this becsuse everybody loves attractive men yet it is shamefull for a man to take a pill for their hairstyle. Femals use pills to boost hair, skin and breast development when they turn 13 years old and nobody shames them.stupid double standards
realy nice teeth!!
Im starting with oral minoxidil right now (one week ago) 1.25mg. Before I used Rogain for several years on off. I got alway a lot of dandruff and irritation on my scalp. Thats why I wanted to change to oral. I went to the dermatologist and they new about it (oral minoxidil for hair loss) already. I also use 0.5 mg /daily dutasterid for around 2 months now without problems. Before was on fin for several years but had more and more hairs falling out and then I switched to Dutasterid. Lets see were the journey takes me.
I'm 64 and take om, no sides except a fuller beard and full body hair. Just make sure keep a check on your BP no matter your age.
You should be able to tell if you blood pressure get to low- much easier than when it gets to high.
Are you still taking oral minoxidil pls answer?
You still on oral minoxidil ???
Yes mate. Nearly at 3 years now - it's a game changer! 2.5mg a day.
@@RealityEqualsResults wow so happy for you
At what year you started oral min ? R u still using it? What dosage? Any sides?
November 2021. No sides - a great product, far superior to Topical Minoxidil!
Hey mate please upload your 2018 before scalp pics
Actually fin or dut or any kinds of dht cannot regrow hair it just slow the process of hairfall
People can and do often get some regrowth from both actually...
Yea this is very untrue. Studies show about 60% of users experience regrowth with fin alone. Dut is an even higher percentege
@@babo3324 well it's been 3 months on dut and still shedding more than usual and no regrow can you explain that why?
@hasan6390 It takes at least 6 months to start seeing any kind of results for most people. For some, it can even take a year or longer. There can even be results up to 2 years, apparently. Also, if u start noticing more shedding than usual, that is actually a good sign that it's working. The weak, thin hairs shed off for thicker and better quality hairs to take their place.
@@billblount7854 oh so that's how it works, how long have you been on dut?
thanks for this vid for a person like me i need second opinion sometimes and people don't want to tell you the truth
My pleasure mate. Yes, people will lie to 'protect' the feelings of other people. In reality, it's better to know the truth so you can make positive change. Short-term term pain but long-term gain!
2:16 blows my mind how many people try to tell you that hair doesn't really effect how people treat us. You're one of the few who don't tell people that bald is fine. "Just shave it bro " I look like a f ing monster without hair. Literally look like a nightmare incarnate.
Nice video, bro. In my case, since I noticed the hair loss at an early stage, most people told me it wasn't even happening.
Same for me mate, they gaslight you and prioritize protecting your emotions. In the interim though, your hair says thanks for the memories lol.
Did you experience regrowth?
Yes mate, Finasteride worked well for me and actually also helped in other non-hair related areas of life (libido, muscle gain).
@RealityEqualsResults wow how'd it help in those two areas? I thought it would be the opposite
When did you start to see results with the min? And what's your dose
Topical Minox = 3 months, Oral Minox = 3 months. Some experience results earlier, some later - regardless you'll get to your maximal benefit point at 2 years.
@@RealityEqualsResults great thanks, is your min dosage 2.5 daily?
Hi, I use 2.5 mg oral minox, and want to also use topical minox 5, instead of increasing to 5 mg oral, in order to avoid side effects. Is this combination recommended?
Apply Minoxidil through one method, either orally or topically. Do not combine the methods - this leads to various downsides such as difficulties in identifying your actual Minoxidil dosage.
Thank you for the information very helpful. How long have you been taking oral minoxidil? (ok its in beginning of video lol you said 2 years ago)
Pleasure - November 2021 was my Oral Minoxidil debut.
Thanks for posting this vid, I took my first dose today and have been in fun for 6-7 months. I have a few questions! What dosage did you get prescribed? How significant was the increase in facial hairs? How significant was the shed? Thanks again for sharing your experience!
My pleasure. 2.5mg daily - I have been on this dosage since November 2021. I do not have any desire to increase to 5mg etc, it is not worth the risk in my view.
Slight increase in facial hair - nothing to write home about. Shed was pretty minimal but I had already been on Finasteride/Foam Minoxidil/LLLT for 3 2/3 years at that stage.
Great video mate! Going to try out oral minox myself
Thank you mate - any assistance required, just pop in.
Thank you for sharing? Can you say what your Finasteride weekly dosage is please?
My pleasure. 1MG daily, I apply the KISS method when it comes to my dosage frequencies - not a fan of the EOD approach.
Did you carry on with fin dut (assuming you take them)?
Correct - took Finasteride throughout the process.
sounds like you have a good head on ur shoulders. great vid.
Thank you for the kind words.
Bro almost the same experience as me. I was wondering how did you switch from topical to oral? I mean slowly down topical to 1/d to 1/2d...take oral 1.25 to 2.5... phase in phase out something like that? or just switched in one day? Thanks bro.
Switched immediately - 2.5mg is a very minor dosage in the grand scheme of things, but enough to move the needle hair wise. It is better to only take one form of Minoxidil from a safety perspective as well and keep it simple as opposed to trying to gradually wean off Topical Minoxidil.
Great video, been investigating taking oral minoxidil 2.5mg but been scared by the heart related side effects, thanks for your positive experience.
Pleasure - if you have any questions, just let me know.
@@RealityEqualsResultsdid you get back on topical a little bit alongside taking oral to help maintain the shed from switching?
@d-man2286 switched directly mate, once I started using Oral I no longer used Topical. That is the most straightforward approach to take. If you switch immediately or take a slow bit by bit approach, your results after 12 months will be the same - so I feel it is better to make the switch immediately and get it done sooner rather than later.
@@RealityEqualsResults thanks for the response man, I’m about exactly 3 months in and started shedding around a month ago, still goin on currently. Just worried my results won’t recover from the shed
@@d-man2286 You will be in a better position at six months (e.g. 180 days post). At 1 year you will be very grateful that the Oral application is widely available these days!
You don’t have hair loss
As a result of my hair protocol...
@@RealityEqualsResults nope show us before pics
You look like you dont even need to take them
Thanks. That is because I have been treating hair loss since February 2018. My hair loss was not severe but definitely noticeable.
My doctor recommended me Aline procap men.... She told me to stay away from minoxidil
That product does not have any active ingredients that would move the needle in terms of hairloss. I would not waste my time with it. Opt for Minoxidil.
Dude you hit the mark so well. Especially with people telling you to "just shave it" and friends and family lying and saying that you're not balding. I just noticed I'm receding at age 23 and im glad i decided to see a dermatologist who immediately put me on finasteride rather than listening to the people in my life, so i can potentially keep my hair for years to come. You are very well spoken and well researched.
Really appreciate that feedback brother. Yes, it seems most families and friends will gaslight the hairloss sufferer to infinity lol.
GREAT video, can i ask a question please,i have used oral minoxidil for 3 months,if switching to oral will i lose the baby hairs i have gained?
I'm also interested in this
Hey brother, I will make a video on this - switching to the oral version of Minoxidil from topical application. I had anxiety about this as well when I switched.
