Holy crap, only about FIFTEEN people showed up to the show and there were over 150 dealers????? That's crazy. They really need to move the show out of Conroe and move it somewhere closer within the Houston area. There's gotta be another venue or convention center out there to choose from.
It’s not the location…it’s the ECONOMY. The senile fool in the White House has destroyed middle class collectors like myself. I stay broke just trying to put FOOD on the table. When Trump was in office I always had money in my pocket and was attending shows.
As a Texan, I am sad to hear the show was a bust. I have seen that Rodney gentleman on some other channels. Seems like a really stand up guy. Have a great week everyone!
The fun of having a coin collection and touching history and finding out why certain coins were made & why is what drives me collecting coins. I find both John & Rodney interview interesting.
I was gunna set up at the fun show, but i missed early reservations and late reservations are 650$ a table. So I will be waiting for next years december fun show!
I have to say I'm shocked you don't have more viewership. You have a great screan presence and you explain everything in detail. I’m a collector who’s been enjoying the hobby (off and on) for 4 decades and I immensely enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work.
Also 40 showed up on Saturday. But that's one "bad" show out of how many hundreds. The Coin show in Albany NY is always packed. I go to local auctions that will have coins they are packed with people and and they bid like crazy. I look at online auctions where people bid like crazy. I go to small coin shows in little towns throughout New England. Only a few dealers but a steady flow of people. I think you are just taking one snapshot to try to promote your political viewpoint.
Dude had all those dollars just banging into each other not in flips. That dealer will do a great job processing and seeing if anything is worth grading.
you guys put up great videos coin collecting is a really good hobby alot to learn but its a clean hobby good values americana for young and old anybody could enjoy and good shows thank you
It was good seeing you fellas at the show and chatting with you for a good bit Drew. As I mentioned to you, I believe to keep the hobby thriving we need more young men like you and your brother out there promoting the hobby and all the cool fun history behind it. I know it’s a business for many but we have to preserve the interest first so it lives on strong for generations to come. I got into this later in life and I did not have anyone around me collecting coins. As you saw I brought my son and his friends. Them being in their twenties and new to this I try to get them interested but they’re mostly for bullion stacking which is cool but I’d like to see more young men and women take interest in numismatics as well. Coin clubs should consider hitting the schools sharing info with our younger generations. Just like to old power team that would go into schools and share Jesus. I know that’s way more important but coins collecting ties into history and I believe it will be a fun way to get the youth involved. They’re getting taught and approach by other types none sense and filth, why not some coin collecting info. Maybe pair up with some history teacher and do some show & tell. I do also agree and have been asking this for a while, why isn’t the bigger Houston Coin shows more central and actually in Houston somewhere. Coming from the south it’s well over 1.5 drive. They also need to promote a bit more. Just like these so called road shows that offer to buy up everyone’s Collectibles. Get it into some ads or social media promo videos. Thats why I am a bit reserved in going all in on higher ticket coins I like. I Don’t want to see the hobby die and devalue my investment/hobby. Keep up the great work!!!
The public isn’t there because of the economy it’s the same at automotive and other hobbies folks don’t have extra cash spend right now but let’s not worry help is on the way

Retail has run out of cash
I agree. The increased cost of the rest of life has priced me out of being able to buy coins.
Great collection! Sorry to hear the show was a bust! Cheers

that 1877 CAC IHC is bonkers!
Cool Morgan dollars have to see them at the fun show
Great coins. Thanks for the video.
Not all of us can make it to the show when it's an hour away or more.
If only about 15 people showed up to the coin show should tell ya how bad the economy and inflation is. No one can afford. FJB.
Our economy is soaring right now. You are operating under a false premise

I might have a good collection
1993 ww1 ten dollar coins !
Beautiful 77 IHP!! JJ

That’s odd considering wages are outpacing inflation.
The more likely culprit is that the fun show is next week and people are waiting to go to the fun show where there will be a lot more available.
1921 peace dollar alone is a couple hundred dollar coin
Says 75th anniversary ww1 10$ coin
Since he willingly paid double, he should have paid him more. He ripped him off.
Yeah he did. He paid him an average of just over
$27/coin. No wonder he’s got that big ol grin on his face.
Can I get the email address of the shop owner
