I was a coin dealer for many years. I purchased many coins from collectors. I also purchased coins from other dealers. Quite often if I needed a coin for a customer I would try to buy one from a fellow dealer. With some dealers it was easy to buy and sell, but with others, difficult or impossible.
Kudos to everyone that agreed to be filmed and featured in this video, usually in coins shows no one wants to be filmed!!🎉 Great honest interactions and educational 👏🪙🤓. I would buy from those dealers!
Love all your content. The other day you were offering advice on how to deal with and react to some deals not going your way. Excellent advice. The world is especially crazy now, and not many roll models to be seen. Hey, I appreciate it, and so do others. Anything positive nowadays should be acknowledged and repeated.
Nice to see some wheeling and dealing. Thanks. 👍🏻 But I don’t understand how CAC approves that 89-CC in G4 … there is clear letter bleed into the rims on both obverse and reverse … on ALL Morgans, regardless of date/mint, letter bleed should preclude a G4 … instead it’s technically a very strong AG3. ☮️⭐️
@@AcoushaCollectibles First of all, I want to thank you for making these videos, I have been learning quite a bit from them, I really like how straightforward, and informative they are, but without all of the unnecessary/annoying "Fluff & Bull" that a lot of other UA-camrs seem to always add!! Anyways, I am curious about something: You mentioned in this video a couple of times that you "Buffed the Holder", (unless it's some kind of special "insider-secret" method? 🤷🏼♂️) would you possibly explain a little bit more about that for me please? I have a few that I bought that were a little scratched up, and it's always bugged me!!
This was a great video. I really liked the guy you were buying from in the 16 minute range and then the guy who was loading his case right after that. As a collector, I'd buy from dealers like that all day long. They just seem like really good, honest guys.
This goes to show me that if I ever attend shows I need to go as a dealer. Not only will the best coins be gone for the collectors but they don’t get as good of a price. My number one tip for people is to buy in bulk and portray yourself as a dealer whether you are one or not
I really liked you doing a behind the scenes with the old timers, They are dying off fast. Keep them coming brotha. I bought my very first 1802 Bust dollar a few months back and of course I am hooked on those now. I have been trying to buy any decent graded Bust Dollars I can find on the cheap.
Very entertaining post. I’ve been to many shows but have never had the opportunity to witness the pre-public wheeling-dealing that goes on between dealers. Thanks for the effort !
Dude love the videos drew I’ve learned a lot from you and getting to see coins that most of us would never get to own is good as it gets! Good stuff man keep it coming!
Its funny you ask ; what did you pay for it. First its irrelevant and 2. Its none of your business. What matters is what is is worth and how much you are willing to pay for it.
You’re looking really sharp brother! I’ve been trying to do the same and although I’ve lost a few lb’s it’s coming along very slowly. Can you share with us maybe some of your daily regime to get in such better shape so quickly
great video i though the people were great. real classic coin guys and it was cool to see your dad. i just cant beleave you didnt grab that monster toned dime. easly 1000 1200 at even great collections. ( out of my price range but there was money there for sure) great day at the show makes it all worth it ether way.
Fun to watch. So what did you buff the plastic with? I have some pretty scratched holders too. No one thought of plastic baggies long ago:( That was a pretty tones 1/2 dime but I think if you had taken that around the show and asked for hundreds over bid everyone would have passed.
I’ve seen coins won by dealers on heritage and then auctioned on eBay … way above auction history. Only because I collected that date and I looked them up by their pcgs certs that I sensed that… skewed pcgs auction results. Noticed subsequent heritage auctions price dropped to original results history.
Have you done a video on how you got into coins and how you started your business. I don’t see that many people start out so young and be very successful unless they inherit coins and money. I didn’t have anyone into coins growing up except maybe my grandma giving me Franklin silver half dollars as a kid.
The way I started was I bought my grandmas coin collection. My dad got laid off 3 times in about 4 years and that prompted me to start a business. Sold my first coin a week into the pandemic and really enjoyed it. Now I am working with my brother to continue moving the business forward. Great question.
I thought you said you paid 400.00 per Franklin Roll and were selling it for 850-900. I made a huge error and am sorry. I cannot believe I thought I heard that. Sorry. Tim
It sure beats having money just sitting in a bank to potentially get played with/invested by some greedy, corporate CEO's! Essentially that is what happens when you leave a reasonable sized stack in a bank account, sure, it's technically still "yours" but the bank can go around and play with everyone else's hard-earned money, and make HUGE PROFITS with it! And what do you receive in turn? A few measly percentage points IF you are willing to put it in a CD, and them if something comes up, not only do you NOT receive that miniscule interest, but you will RECEIVE A PENALTY FOR TOUCHING YOUR OWN MONEY!!!... And as far as the "FDIC" goes, that is now a complete joke, those "laws" were created two months after Roosevelt's greedy gold swindle in 1933 in order to calm people worries in an attempt to create "trust" in money that could no longer be exchanged for REAL MONEY (Gold coinage), but, it could still be exchanged for silver, so the Dollar still had an actual VALUE at that point, but now that it's a 100% worthless FIAT-CURRENCY, the day the banks close shop is going to be the same day the FIAT finally reaches its actual potential: IT HAS NO POTENTIAL, NO VALUE, AND NO FAITH!!! What good would the FDIC be if the Dollar is completely WORTHLESS at that same point?... But owning Gold & Silver coins, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE WORTH THEIR WEIGHT IN..... GOLD & SILVER!!! 😅😂😅 3,000 years of history says that FIAT EVENTUALLY FAILS, EVERY-SINGLE TIME, WITHOUT ANY EXCEPTIONS, but precious metals will ALWAYS hold their value!!!

I been watching coin show videos for the last three years ! And I've got to say yours is the most informative I've seen 😁 Great Job 👍

This kid is a con punk wouldn't buy or sell from him after viewing two of his videos stay away
Great to see the interaction between dealers, lot of trust and respect between them. BRAVO ZULU
Bringing dad as muscle, smart
Love this type of video…getting to see the behind the scenes deals and just the open camaraderie between dealers…awesome stuff! Thanks Drew 👍

“Gots that Anacs holder, kinda sucks but that’s ok”
lol. I totally feel ya on that
I really enjoyed the behind the scenes wheeling and dealing! I like how you and Dickie made sure you each made money on the deals.
Hi Drew yes I learned a lot watching you film deals between you and another dealer.
This was a great look into what dealer life is like. Highlights the connections that have to be made to be successful in the business. Great video!
This was great. Thanks for letting us in! Great coins.
I have to b3 honest I was not to sure about you but now I like you videos and I find them help full...thank you for everything....
Enjoyed the entire video. From what you always show us, we learn. Thank you Drew.
Enjoyed watching the dealer to dealer interactions. Excellent video as usual.
Great seeing behind the scenes! Thanks!

I enjoyed watching the dealer to dealer transactions. Love listening to them.
Loved the behind the scenes feel of this video. Well made!

Great video. Thanks for sharing Drew👍
Great video. Really enjoyed seeing the dealer to dealer business.
Awesome video, love seeing this side of things
Can you do a video showing how you buff the holders?
I’ll have to get it in a video.
@ 4:03 IVE BOUGHT FROM THE SAME GUY MANY YEARS AGO AT THE SAME SHOW, GREAT COIN @ GREAT PRICES
Good negotiations involve give&take, it can’t b all one way street . Pretty good head set young man.
It's nice to see the price of what the coin's could bring you

All the numbers... my head hurts. 😆
Trying to find the app you use to check sold coin values for comps? What’s the app called? THANK YOU SO MUCH
It’s eBay. All you do is look up the coin and then go to sold items 👍
@@patrickkenworthy6716 ok, it looked like a app he was on in a past video.
You could do pretty good selling BBQ chicken and Drinks outside of Coin Shows,
