As someone who is deaf, THANK YOU for the subtitles. It makes it so much more enjoyable to watch and understand what's going on.
Thank you Steve! We always try to make our video understandable for everyone, your comment is a great reward for our work. Thanks!
stevez723 some runways seem to undulate. Is this by design?
@@topcopy98 No, just by the land the runway was built on, there is very few runways that are perfectly flat might even be none!
And to learn!
stevez723 Even not deaf it’s hard to hear sometimes what people are saying, great reply and hope you’re staying safe dear friend. Glad to know other people enjoy flying videos as much as I🙏
What these pilots do is amazing . It just looks so peaceful flying
indeed! Thanks!
The annotations really elevate this video! Superb production. Thank you.
Thanks You Everest!
High Pressure Aviation Films you’re welcome, keep up the awesome work.
I agreed , Same with Pilot EYE.TV ( Keep the job-up Frenches )
Second that! Easy to follow what they do and what is happening.
no they dont...i want an unobstructed view of the cockpit. I dont want constant annotation getting in the way, just a clean view of what i can to see
Really good video. The others don't have everything labeled like this. It really makes a difference as you start to understand the controls. Thank you for uploading. Also it's in ultra-HD 4k resolution. This is beyond professional, this is excellence.
Thanks George!
I found that really interesting! I love the fact everything is labelled.
George Scott ไป
Love the video and the awesome clarity
Fantastic... almost like being there with them!
Nighttime cockpit views of large city takeoff/landings look like something straight out of a science fiction movie.
I need that Boeing automated P/A voice as my alarm. *"WAKE UP" "APPROACHING MAXIMUM SLEEP PATTERN" "WAKE UP"*
WHOOP WHOOP "WAKE UP" WHOOP WHOOP "WAKE UP"
There’s no such thing as maximum sleep pattern. 😄 Your body wakes up when it’s done! ✅
@ObiWanBillKenobi Then why do I feel like sh1t when I wake up everyday?
Me too
@@ObiWanBillKenobi yea and i push it back to sleep
Amazing video! The best aviation channel ever!
Thank You Santiago!
I love how you annotate everything you're doing and saying. It helps me to understand the process better
That's an awesome view of the cockpit, lighting and panels inside, as well as kind of the irregular route into LAX. Most of the routes turn in around Santa Monica, then E to Downtown, then 180 degrees to the right, then straight west into LAX. But that could be a different runway approach. LA is beautiful at night from above!
If there's a previous life, I swear I was a pilot...and a good one. I have a passion for flying. Can't stop watching those take off and landing videos. Awesome!!!
"Crenshaw Blvd - Packed and fulla cars." Gold.
Congrats Dustin, you're the first to notice! ;)
Crenshaw blvd..lol.I thought I was the only one that noticed that....
Dats my “hood” son.....
This is great thanks - my dad was an airline pilot and let me ride in the cockpit when he could (in the 1970’s) - but the grandeur of it never goes away.
*Crenshaw Blvd, packed and full of cars*
Best reference yet
Thanks Darion!
Great landing video! But, that can't be Crenshaw Blvd as it runs North/South. I think it's Manchester Blvd (which runs East/West). The Inglewood Forum is right off there, so likely a game night. (born and raised in LA)
@@IcarusFlightPlan1 Agreed. I know that city like the back of my hand. I do think you can see Dodger Stadium for a second while they're making the turn over downtown... but I could be wrong. At 0:50, right above the word "Checked".
@@IcarusFlightPlan1 Isn't the straight-in to 24R basically on top of Manchester? I thought it was Florence. It seems to curve to the left in the distance... like by the cemetery...
Darion Donnelly I thought I was the only one! Lmao that’s from Eminem- Bitch please 2 right?
Thanks for the memories. Did that for AAL for 35 years.
It's like I 'm sitting on the jump seat with you!!! Amazing!!!
Exactly, welcome in our cockpit;)
Now don't be naughty........tsk tsk.
I really enjoyed this video. The "annotations" showing what the pilots are doing & the radio "chatter" with the ATC, is very informative. 1st video of this I've seen. Now I know a little more about what goes on in the cockpit during landing.
Christofer Riche thanks Christopher
It's really something passing by LAX at night and seeing 5, 8, 10, or even 12 sets of lights in a line trailing off far to the east, as planes from all over the world line up to land. Makes the world seem a lot smaller.
I'm studying for being pilot in Japan. I watch your videos during break time and those make me so motivated. thank you!
Best of Luck. 🛫🛬
Best landing production in youtube.
Thank you very much appreciated;)
Bro should be given award for best landing video too good my mate
Thanks!
Wow like a my dream😍, love this video,, (from Indonesia 🙋)

I love the interesting written commentary as the plane approaches landing. I love your videos. Please keep all the interesting written bits - they are the best!
Amazing video! I like your channel very much!
But can you shift the camera a bit right or left? If the camera is right in the middle, the central pillar is hide the runway :(
Anyway, thanks a lot!
Thank You Roman, We might try this idea next time, especially at low altitude to see the runway.
There's just something magical about flying into LAX at night time. I feel that everyone should do it at least once.
Terrific video. I've certainly never seen the view from the cockpit before! I loved the annotations that explained what the pilots were doing when they hit certain switches etc.
LAX, the sprawling sea of lights approach, and the sea of darkness for take off. The best in the world.
Can't understand how can anyone give this video downvote!
Thanks Manh!
@NYTom60 Probably, or scared of planes;)
idiots! everywhere.
Probably from other aviation channels hehe
Maybe a French speaker from Quebec?
I really don't think pilots get enough credit for their craft! You have to be on point to fly one of those suckers! Hats of to you guys and 2 of my pilot friends!!!
This has to be the best cockpit video ever. Great job and keep them coming.
Simply amazing! Lights of LA look so outstanding... I’d like to know what camera you use. Thank you!
simhopp heck you talking about? We have some of the tallest buildings in the US.
Meep Ster -- Relax. "Not too many high rises" does not say anything about L.A. not having some of the tallest buildings in the country. L.A. does have high rises, but because it is such a wide sprawl, the skyscrapers are not a dominant feature of L.A.'s urban landscspe. L.A. pretty much looks flat and wide from above. And at night, with all the lights, that immense sprawl is impressive.
+grammus cc downtown LA is 30 miles behind the plane and LAX this is by Venice Beach and Santa Monica on the coast.
captmack007 LAX is nowhere near Venice Beach. It's in El Segundo.
Your channel is awesome, with subtitles for ATC communication, and for cockpit actions, provides a clear view of the magnificent technological achievement of commercial jetliners.
thank you very much! keep it up ans share!
It was hard to read some of the call outs in this video; white text over white lights in the background. In those cases, you should apply an unfeathered black border - 3 or 4 pixels wide - around the text so it will knock out the area around the text making it more readable.
Also, while larger sensor cameras generally have better image quality, you run into the problem you see here, where the background is out of focus. A smaller sensor camera would give you greater depth of field allowing everything to be in focus. I know this is just a nighttime issue; it shouldn't be a problem during the day since you can stop the aperture down to maintain depth of field. Sure, it's not very "filmic"...but it would be nice to see the city in focus, even though our attention is on the pilots. Otherwise, great vid! Thanks!
Thank you Tom. Indeed, we had to make the choice of displaying the text on the window ( and blocking the view) or on the overhead panel but loosing readibility with all the buttons below... We'll try to find out before we release the extended version.
Think of the pilots who get no subtitles for the ATC callouts at all.
Who invited captain buzz kill 😜
I’m deaf and i much appreciate for the text subtitle.
@@butthurt8 Me as well. Thanks to High Pressure Aviation Films for the subtitles!
Nothing's more beautiful than a cockpit with lights off flying over a city at night
LAX, the best in the world. Land in a sea of light, take off into a sea of darkness!
Awesome work with the annotations. It helps understand better what you are doing in there. Excellent!
Pablo Hernandez thanks Pablo !
Absolutely AWESOME!!!!...,nice landing!!,by the book!!!..., Thanks for sharing
The best aviation channel in an entire universe.
Super soft landing!!
Gorgeous video, thank you Merci!!! I felt like I was flying again and the subtitles helped but awesome job to help all of us through this quarantine and pandemic. My soul felt free again!!!❤️🙏😘
Michele Moore thank you very much Michele!
Mate, I love your channel logo at the start. Good work.
Great stuff. Reminds me of the days when I used to sit up front for T.O. and landings. Had many memorable night landings, particularly into Sydney. Never got to do it into LAX. Oh for the innocent days... Many thanks and cheers from Oz - Dave
Joli atterrissage :)
Merci Guillaume, A bientôt sur 777!:)
Crossed com ! 😂
Guillaume Laffon Ah oui c'est vrai ! Il passe sur Boeing lui aussi :)
J'allais le dire !!
Hi Guillaume!
So breathtaking. Feels so surreal and peaceful, almost meditative.
Beautiful video! I love the 77W especially with that Air France livery. All around a perfect video!
Beautiful to watch. I wish all videos were made like this. Informative and clear. Brilliantly done!
Awesome! And... welcome to Los Angeles!
These things get me sleepy, thats why i watch them everynight.
This is so beautiful, I subbed.
As someone who is really afraid of flying, seeing this helps a bit. Awesome video.
Oscar Patxot thanks Oscar
Great video! Excellent 24R approach at LAX!
I can’t stand LA as a city but I always enjoy the night and evening approaches there. The evening approaches are the best, you get the contrast of the red sun against the mountains. It’s beautiful.
Super interesting to see all the annotations and learn about the approach procedure. And LA at night really is the most beautiful city in the world.
It would be nice if the watermark was in the top left or something instead of the middle.
merkos aaa I didn't even notice the watermark
Agreed, but for the sake of argument, having it in a dark corner would make the watermark extremely easy to edit out.
Why? So you can steal the video? Haha you can hardly notice it
Thank you! Unfortunately, this video will be stolen and uploaded on big Facebook page (even if we share it also on Fb!) They will cut the logo at the beginning, at the end, and on the side. They will make million of views without any credits. We have no other choice than in the middle!
Yup im ok with where the watermark is located at the moment.
A truly excellent and informative video. Amazing how much work goes on prior to landing. Loved the informative pop up captions. Well done High Pressure Aviation Films!
The cool professionalism and skillful hand flying of these pilots is very impressive. Thank you for this beautiful video.
MikeinSoCal thanks Mike
Very nice video of such a high quality!
Is the aircraft at the end the actual aircraft we have seen the cockpit view from?
To be honest, no, it is not the same aircraft:)
High Pressure Aviation Films
Doesn't matter. Still awesome. ;D
C'était à Dakar n'est ce pas? :p
It’s crazy when I hear people complain about flight delays or cancellations and stuff like that when they take for granted the absolute miracle of aviation and the amazing pilots who guide these amazing pieces of equipment. Like look at at those instruments, just everything and it leaves me in awe
Justin Valedon totally agree Justin! Thanks for the comment .
Do you see the three little displays between the large compass/wx and the engine functions? Those are called "standby indicators." One is used as the ADI ball, one is for the VSI, and I think the third one is a compass. They are used in case the PDF system fails. I worked at Rockwell-Collins in Cedar Rapids IA on that display project back in the late 1980's/early 1990's. The engineering in just that little display was amazing 30 years ago. I was assigned to the engineer who developed the backlighting system for the LCD. Each function had its own engineer. All of that engineering and manufacturing for a mere $5K in 1990 dollars :) Can't imagine what the engineering and costs are like now!
Awesome. Beautiful.
Thanks William!
Super cool video. Loved the subtitles and explanations for us non-pilot types.
Very nice. It's so nice to see a crew fly the approach from a good distance manually.
This just confirms how bad my job sucks...
Currently in flight school and this was a joy to watch. Thank you gentlemen.
Can't get over how cool pilots are. Such a huge responsibility.
Before we used to fly gliders, now we fly POWERFUL machines which can produce thousands of pounds of thrust per engine. Such a fun but dangerous job, god bless these pilots who risk their lives weekly to make a living.
Nice Jordan's thanks Jordan!
This evokes such nostalgia and yet is so calming
Just OUTSTANDING ... SO informative, easy to follow, not to mention the awesome HD image quality.
Chapeau bas et mille mercis , Messieurs ...
OMG, the view and the beautiful lights is sooooooo amazing at night ❤️❤️❤️ I enjoy watching your channel 😄😄😄All’s the Pilots is a true hero 🦸♂️ 🦸♀️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Absolutely superb videos really great and the labelling is very interesting to people like me who are not too familiar with the controls but maybe know of a few basics. Fantastic stuff thanks very much!
Incredible !!!
Thanks David!
I love watching professionals at work! Good job!
Thank you!
I think my little brother might want to reconsider being a pilot when he grows up
Hehe, let us know if he change his mind
Your video production is beyond excellent!
Nice video i love b777
Thanks Florian!
C'est tellement beau , pilote est l'un des meilleurs métiers au monde!
Merci Virgil!
très pros ces gens la !
B777 is just gorgeous, especially with the green backlit control buttons. Really great video indeed.
Looks like a sim
One of the best landing videos. Captain was at another level too.
This is one of the best videos I've ever watched in my life. Congratulations, well, well explained
i have so much respect to all pilots in the world.
great video! always wanted to see it that way :)
Your channel is extremely unappreciated, you deserve 400+ thousand subs!
Can't agree more! I hope UA-cam is listening;)
Beautiful view of the big city
Thanks Miguel
Whenever I watch anything to do with aviation, it always brings at least tears to my eyes, if not full blown sobbing. Especially any kind of launch to space. There is just something about the fact that humans {who I despise as a rule} were able to invent such extremely mind blowing, gravity defying vehicles that makes me so sensitive to the sheer wonder and awe of it all.
I'm just shy of 58 now and have been an extremely sensitive person all my life. You can just imagine how I broke down when, at the age of 9 yo, I got to see a launch of a rocket in person from across the Snake River in Florida. I'm Canadian and have lived in Ontario my entire life. That experience was 1 of the best ever in my life.
Another, when I got to go on a Cessna for about a half hour flight. There was a fair bit of turbulence at 1 point and I loved it! The only disappointment was the flight wasn't much, much longer.
Never got to go on a jet in my life and never will now. Just over 20 years ago I was supposed to go to Florida with my g/f who lived there and who had come to visit me. The EFFING US Border Patrol denied me entry for no good reason other than the fact that the homophobic "ese" needed to feel like he had a pair by wielding his power.
After ruining my trip and I was out $ for travel medical insurance and my g/f was out the $ for my airfare, I never wanted to go to the armpit of the world anymore. 🌎🔫💯👍🏳🌈🐺🍔🍟🍁
Why can't you fly
Stunning video!! Well done, I especially liked the call outs on the landmarks. Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful job gentlemen, cool and calm and very confident! Keep looking at the good skies and be safe!
michael parker thanks !
Always good films, thank you guys.
I just can't understand why people come out of their ways just to give a dislike to such film. Some annoying people.
The annotations fucks with a good video.
Thanks
I've watched this vid 3 times now, and it's one of, if not the best.
Thanks, and hope to see more produced like this!
what airline
Air France 9:00
ahhh thanks. commented before i saw that lol
Air France:)
thank you guys!
the best cockpit ive ever seen !! amazing. Keep doing this !!!
Thank you Leonardo! Much appreciated.
C'est Superbe merci pour cette vidéo. Vous m'avez fait pas un moment EXTRA je pèse mes mots
By far the best Aviation channel. And yes please longer videos please!!! Great work.
😍😍😍😍
Thanks!
Like most others said, this is an outstanding video. Love your annotations. Really adds to the experience for a viewer. Fantastic job! #subscribed.
All those signs are so distracting...
Great stuff, Landed in Paris once in the cockpit of a 747 with Air France it was really an amazing experience, I was a kid and the pilots gave me a headset and told me not to talk otherwise ATC would hear me lol
Amazing production, top notch. Keep them coming!
Josh Newman thanks Josh!
Wonderful, thank you. I wanted to be a pilot, but can’t because I’m colorblind. So I truly appreciate the opportunity that you’re giving me.
James Hoopes thanks James, very much appreciated.
The kid in me is just in love with all the lights and colors. Wicked cool
Respect to the pilots....one wrong move and bird is gone...lot of people die...but this is amazing... God bless all pilots...RESPECT
ernestsek78 thank you very much!
Great video . Clear , no bullshit and thank god no bloody music 👍👍
Best landing video ever. Great graphics and explanation. Great work. Looking forward to others. Thanks.
Thank you Steely!
