I have a huge fear of heights, planes, and extreme motion sickness so going on planes trigger a huge panick attack and physically feel unwell when fly..but ur video is calming, came from someone posting ur night flying starrail video and was absolutely gorgeous. The professionalism, the view, and the calming aspect makes me feel relieved and reminds me to always trust the pilot and try to calm down. Thank u for ur video. The night view is amazing despite being so high up.
Thank you, we are really glad to read that. Especially in a world where everything related to aviation brings fear... We are the proof that we can share calm feeling😊
Wonderful video. Brings back many memories from '80s and '90s flying the B767-300ER to KJFK from Central America , arriving around 10pm. The best for me was the Canarsie VOR approach to runway 13L. The view of the 'sea of lights' at night was really nice.
@@HighPressureAviationFilmsYes I am because the engines look like the Trent XBW,the plane has the A350 wingtips and the nose shape. However, the last 7 week, the flights between Helsinki and JFK were in A330 (source: Flightradar24). This flight might be an exception.
I like your location and radio transmission description graphics on editing your posted video’s. It gives a better clarity to the video for flying and landing at day or night. Thanks for posting your wonderful video’s.
David knew I saw this landing you said jfk experience cool nice to see people like me knows flying is ultimate need to get full effect got to go minumins coming up 400ft😊
I live in New York and I fly outta JFK lots of times. The comments by the captain are soooo true! The wait times to takeoff or landing are insane.I flew a lot during covid. Never seen those airports so empty in my life. Now it's business as usual! Early Am your #20 for departure. 6pm and after your number #25 for departure! LGA or NEWARK are no better.
I liked so much the main panel view onto the background!!! It is very cool and impressive!!! 🛬🌃👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻🤩 Please make more and taking off too!!! 🛫🌃💪🏻 👋🏻 Greetings from 🇪🇸 Spain.
Yes, your careers are not over just because of a pandemic (video recorded in 2021). I knew during the pandemic that the people would want to fly again when it will be possible. And they did - and they still do and will do. Of course :-) Oh, and it's a beautiful video! Perfectly flown, perfectly edited, great! I just understand a little bit of french, so your subtitles helped, thanks! And of course I got the nice joke near the end that the light plane was taking off very steep, as if it was taking off vertically, great, a bit of fun is necessary between the more difficult tasks. That's fine, thanks!
Amazing and informative vid as always! 777-300ER is my fav aircraft, hope that Air France keep them for some time yet. Wanted to ask what the two buttons on the control yoke do that you are pressing during the landing?
@HighPressureAviationFilms Thanks for the info. Wanted to ask that do you typically take over manual landing from 2500ft like in the clip? Also do you guys use the Flight Director as reference during landing or ILS only?
It really depends on the weather condition and alos your fatigue. But typically , when everything is OK after being established on the ILS is good @@speedbird380A
Great Video, Really enjoy it, Thanks for uploading it. And at 01:22, I guess it should be "Kennedy altimeter 3014", and Kennedy Approach frequency should be 128.125 maybe.
Enfin de retour ! enfaite j'ai enfin compris à quoi servent les volets ! c'est pour réduire la portance et augmenter la trainée ? corrigez moi si j'ai faux 😊 Ps : je suis a ipsa
I used to hang out by the outer marker by Long Beach bridge and watch the 31L inbound fly right over head. Work at JFK for a year and an half before joining the Navy. Best job I ever had.
Great video. Wind was about 30knots but it didnt pook like it, the control inputs looked calm and the approach wasmt that shaky, buttered landing too. Or was it a tailwind pr headwind? Impressive either ways. ,merci beaucoup pour la video. 😅❤

So passenger to cargo and back is a standard rotation? I always wondered how it differs, other than the sense of responsibility for more lives…. Do you for instance do things whatever that maybe within the safe envelope, that you try to avoid in a passenger flight?
@@HighPressureAviationFilms 👍 There was the fleeting thought that “cavalier” pilots or somewhat less capable pilots flew cargo….but glad it’s not that way…
When they refer to your flight as 'heavy' does that mean any large intercontinental airplane or does the airplane need to be a certain weight to be referred to as heavy?
Is that normal to give small inputs by holding the yoke when the AP is still on? It is visible when turning on final and about 3 minutes before the AP off. The Finnair aircraft is A350-900 :)

Nice memories! Thanks Jorge
They were way to high on landing had 3 whitelights, floated down the runway then bang.

Very professional teamwork, excellent landing Air France pilots.
Thanks a lot!
I hope Air France will keep the 777-300ER in the next decades. This is my favourite aircraft!
Indeed !
They have quite a few already. But everyone is waiting on the B777X.
777x?
Always amazing landings from this channel. I'll be taking one of these Air France 777s from JFK to get back home to Paris in January.
Thank you!
J’adore le decoupage du cockpit pour avoir la double vue ! Encore en super be video, merci infiniment ! ❤

Thank you for putting captions for the conversations!
Sure, Thanks!
Always great video! The calm and professional demeanor in the cockpit really add to the experience. Thank you.

Yes! Again! Beautiful landing with so much skill.
Wow, thanks!
The copilot seemed disappointed that the airport wasn't busy! He wanted the Kennedy experience.
haha indeed!
lol! Careful what you wish for, next time you might get caught in a long wait for take off!!!!
Too bad Kennedy Steve retired , guess the other Pilot met him.
Excellent video !
it's called the first officer.
Great video as always! Love Air France and the 777! The Finnair is an A350-900.
Thank you! Are you sur for the 350?

@@HighPressureAviationFilms Finnair have only A330 i A350-900 in their fleet (long distance). And this is not A330 :)
It is a A330
It’s for sure an A350-900 because of winglet shape
I guessed correctly AirFrance .Visited Paris recently ,loved it ! Pleasure listening to the spoken language. Great video.
Thank you Severin! 😃
So happy to see you back. Merci pour cette vidéo

To be honest, we proceed the same way, and feel the same responsability. Just that we have to make the coffee ourselves ;)
@@HighPressureAviationFilms 👍 There was the fleeting thought that “cavalier” pilots or somewhat less capable pilots flew cargo….but glad it’s not that way…

When they refer to your flight as 'heavy' does that mean any large intercontinental airplane or does the airplane need to be a certain weight to be referred to as heavy?
long haul carrier above a certain weight are qualified as heavy. It is mostly for turbulence purpose, and distance separation at landing and takeoff.
thx for video
Fine landing, esp considering gusts to 30.

can they have a video of when a pilot is landing from guyana south America
Guyana , Cayenne?
Yes!
🎉
what was the headwind?
That was the shortest and slowest landing that I ever seen.
Around 30 knots!
These types of Finn Air is very good looking aircraft carrier.
I hope you will be a 777 captain at a future
I hope too! Thanks!
Finnair is A350. Will Air France be flying more A350s in the future
Yes !
I’ve never heard so much banter in the cockpit of a commercial flight ✈️ I liked it, but isn’t that frowned upon? 🤷🏼♂️ Nice video anyway. Cheers
Whats funny is that I went on flightradar to see where FOK airport is and I saw the Air France 777-300er going to jfk.
haha, nice!
