Now that’s she’s super famous now, it’s only a matter of before we hear her as a favorite character in a favorite anime 😁
Tf do you mean ‘Now’?
I would love to hear her voice in demon slayers.
@@eblizzard6821 now as in not before.
For other voice actors out there who already be doing the thing-- would love to know your FIRST mic and your CURRENT mic!
Your my favourite voice actor brizzy.
My current mic is a very high tech piece of equipment called: my phone's mic
First mic was a Logitech headset. Recorded some UA-cam work on that.
Upgraded to the Snowball for Queen Opala years (Early 2010s). Now use the Blue Yeti.
I made my own pop filters out of wire and panty hose. I also recorded in my closet.
@@HHSDaily OK INCREDIBLE I should've talked about more home-made options!!
My first was a um2 interface with pyle dynamic mic. My current is a scarlett 2i4 and blue spark xlr mic. but I'm gonna be upgrading my interface to an ssl2 after Christmas!
i'm not a VA but i do love good headphones, and i can confirm that the sony mdr7506's are a wonderful option if you want an almost completely flat response curve to hear your sound as "dry" (without any adjustments or edits) as possible, which is generally how your audio engineers want it anyways
they're super clear for actual audio quality and are built like tanks, there's a reason they're so popular, just be prepared to deal with an absurdly long coiled cable all the time
edit: also ohms are just a measurement of resistance, low ohms means more noise can get in to the signal and subsequently into your ears, anything above 30 is fine for most people, anything above 120-200ish requires a specific amplifier powerful enough to drive the sound, otherwise they're just gonna be super quiet. anywhere from 30-80 is a good level for 99% of people and setups, and for those that need something different, they would know enough already to ignore me LMAO
Thank you thank you THANK YOU for being so nice to beginners! Ive seen a lot of these types of videos that say "dont buy these cheap mics, they sound bad! Spend money!!" And not everyone has that money! Thank you for confirming that its fine to get cheaper stuff if youre a beginner!
Great video Brizzy it will definitely help some aspiring voice actors. I may not need the information personally it still appealed to the part of me that likes to know how things work.
THANK YOU DUB
@@brizzyvoices There's no doubt that being a Voice-Over Actor is fun
@@brizzyvoices Hello i do Voiceovers as well i was wondering getting Started how can i get paided to do my voiceovers? Of Characters
Hey Brizzy, new fan here, I got into a class of Dubbed voice acting this year and this video is great. Maybe I would get my recording studio later in the next 2 maybe 3 years. But thank you for the info on what to get when you start your voice acting career!!!!
I just got a new laptop (a huge step up from my 14 year old MacBook Pro), a new interface, and a new mic! im really excited to take my first steps in voice acting even if its just free online gigs :) also I resonated with how much you talked about Crispin, that mans word is my gospel on this stuff 💀anyways thank you for the content and videos on this type of stuff, im looking foward to more in the future :)
If you dont mind tips, and if so I apologize for giving advice un requested.
Thermal insulation foam, like what a person with bad windows might put in their window in the summer/winter to block the outside temperature, are really good sound proofing pads, as long as some piece of fabric, even like an old shirt, is placed over it. It is no where near as good as the professional options available, but for large spaces, like a ceiling, it is a good budget option.
Also mattress toppers, blankets, towels. Anything heavy fabric, or furry fabric, for beginner home recording closet filler.
Brizzy, you've always had the gates wide open for VA/VO stuff, and I appreciate it so so much 😁
A free workshop from the great Brizzy?? Christmas came early for us, kids! Thank you so much, Brizzy!
Thank you so so much! This is exactly what I needed! You're amazing!
Super helpful, thank you! I’ve been a fan of you for a while now and I finally plunged into voice over classes last year 😊it’s been a wonderful journey, can’t wait to see where it goes
Hey Brizzy! Nice video, found it helpful. I was actually thinking the last two days that I want to seriously start with voice acting. And then I saw your tweet, great timing! Also a big fan since 2013 back in your YouNow days. Nice to see you’re thriving.😊
Your video is definitely a great guide for all levels. Gives wonderful recommendations, especially on a budget, for aspiring VOs and explains things in concise manner. Great Job!
I know I'm late to viewing and commenting. Yet this was so great and so glad to be part of this wonderful community you made. Been subscribed for nine years now what's crazy. I hope you got to have a wonderful and safe holiday season Brizzy! 😊
This is an awesome resource to have for the future, thanks so much!
Very educational video! I don't really care about voice acting but from the sound technical side it's still very very helpful!
thank you for watching regardless it means a lot!
Thank you! I’ve been looking for a video that explains all of this! ❤
This was a video I absolutely needed
This is such a wonderful and helpful video! I’ve been a fan of yours since 2013, and have been working towards a semi-professional voice over career for a while. Love you Brizzy! ❤❤❤
This was sooooooo helpful! Thank you so much!
This was my dream job when I was young but had no idea how to get into it. Love this video and hope it helps some young aspiring performers.
Thank you, I'm getting back into vo with my new place and will save this as I upgrade and practice.
omg this video is so helpful and I'm also writing my thesis about voice acting so this is so helpful!! Thank you brizzy ❤❤❤❤
You’re a great actress Brizzy. Thank you for the tips. Love you.

Hey Brizzy you inspire me you are my inspiration now actually want to start voice acting and start voice acting for a video game
Thanks so much for this Brizzy. You’re awesome 😁👍
NO U
I’m mainly in the music business myself. My dad has damn near every piece of equipment that you mentioned in the video. But thanks for the advice vid, Brizzy.😎👍🏾
Amazing!🎉
Hi Brizzy hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤️
this is a very helpful video, Brizzy.😉
You always look beautiful and brilliant voice actor brizzy 😍
Amazing video :D
This definitely will help me as I was looking into getting into it seriously. Thank you!
Hope everything works out for you!
Eeee break a leg!
Love watching your videos and your very talented and beautiful. Keep doing what you’re doing
Great video brizly voices you secretly gave us all lost of tips thanks😌👍👍💜💜
I really like my little Zoom H1n. As a new-bie, it teaches you how to set levels, but it has a Low Cut Filter and a limiter. As an intermedi-ite, it is nice to use it as a backup mic+recorder in case of tech gremlins or if you know you have a limited time to record.
This was a great video going to help a lots of up and comers and Merry xmas !!
Hey Brizzy I like your voice impressions
Merry Christmas, Brizzy! 😃❤️💚💙💕💞🎅🎄⛄❄️☃️🎁✨
Great video! I will be sharing this with my coworker who is interested in getting started in voice acting. Also, you mentioned reducing the slight hissing noise that comes along with a USB mic. I was wondering if you could elaborate on that further.
I'm super early! Thank you so much for this - with so many beginners always asking for recommendations, it'll be nice to just be able to link them this video for equipment!
Totally unrelated, but pls tell me where you got your shirt it's actually gorgeous 🙏✨
Ahhh my pleasure!! :D
It's a rental from Nuuly but originally from "MINKPINK"!
Wow i was actually looking into this topic just last week
Hey 👋🏾 Brizzy I like to ask if you can do a video of voice warm ups on voice training or acting??❤❤❤
Great presentation and your energy is super fun KUDOS
Any chance of sending u a file for criticism?
Great video, Brizzy! I actually accidentally discovered your videos on Facebook and loved them. Best accidental discovery ever!
whaddaya know, facebook IS good for something!!
Very informative! Awesome job. And Dora the Explora's cable advice is on point.
Also, ISDN? Do people still use ISDN?
Thank you you beautiful amazing pretty talented voice of person for this information
Brizzy! You KILL the game. I've been watching your videos for about 8 years now and I appreciate what you do. After 28 years of life on this planet and being unsure of what I want to do in the world, I have decided to get into voice acting! You and Brian Hull are large inspirations to this thought, so thank you for being awesome :D
AWW THIS IS SO SO SWEET THANK YOU SO MUCH
YAY you posted it!! Love the advice and gear breakdown!
Just discovered your vids and love it! Thank you for all your great knowledge! I wanted to know if you have any recommendations for gear to record if you travel and will be in another space temporarily? Thanks!!
Thanks for The Info Brizzy, This will be very helpful for My Future Voice Acting Career at Nickelodeon and UA-cam!❤️📺🎶👍🏻
you've got the name for it! :P
@@brizzyvoices Oh Yeah, and I’m already Good Friends with Tom Kenny. I’m gonna be Nick on Nick!
i'm looking to get into voice acting, but i think i'm going to just opt for either the rode nt1 or the shure mv7x, those seem to be the most recommended for an intermediate set up. i want to drop a little more money for good equipment so i don't have to replace it sooner. this video was definitely super helpful tho! you're a huge reason i want to get into voice acting in the first place.
Merry Christmas Brizzy Voices
merry christmassssss
@@brizzyvoices thanks
The Best Voice Actress in the world is Brizzy Voices. Props to you my friend.
This is technical in a good way. Not overwhelming, not vague. Just about right. And also true. Good tips. And yes, you can succeed even with a potato setup.
Ah thank you!!! I know it’s not the most entertaining way to make a video but it was already so long so I hope it’s effective!
@@brizzyvoices Trying to get into VO myself these past years and meeting some people I genuinely think this is a well edited starting point that many can appreciate. It's short to the point and you show stuff. It's nice of you to try give others the inside scoop instead of keeping it to yourself. The industry definitely needs more recognition and more new inspired talents. Thank YOU ;)
I'm planning on getting the Sudotak ST-800 USB mic with boom arm, foam cap and pop filter included. Found it for about 50 bucks on Amazon.
Great advice for sombody who want to be a voice actor you do amazing job as a voice actor and good youtuber and good gamer on twitch take care see you on the next video my favirt youtuber brizzy voices bye
Interesting video
This video literally came out the day after I upgraded my home studio 🤣(Got a Rode nt1 A mic with my first audio interface, mic stand and Isolation shield) Love your videos
omg!!! ahehehe well good choice!
So exciting, isn't it!? 🤗😃
This is LITERALLY the best video ever! You’re awesome! Giving us suggestions and ideas of what equipment to use in detail is amazing thank you @brizzyvoices
i'm so excited to turn my closet into a studio WOOO
Merry Christmas brizzy
merry christmassssssS
You're beautiful
Crispin Freeman also voices young Balder in Bayonetta 2. 😎
Most importantly, you need talent...which Brizzy has in spades! No amount of hardware can make up for what some may lack on a more personal level.
I’m a patreon member of dead meat so I get videos early. Congrats on making it into the gremlins 2 kill count
This is helpful and my dream is to become a VA for like animes or other animated shows. Thank you for making this video it is very helpful
Awesome video Brizzy! I think I just realized how lucky I am in terms of equipment, a family friend long term lent us an AT2020 XLR mic, with a great adjustable stand, and a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen!
When I record gameplays my audio is clean 👌👌👌
perfect!!
Wow! That is awesome!
I always did have Big Dreams of being a Voice-Actor, mostly for Warner Bros. (until they get their act together) and Hanna-Barbera
Me too, Retro!
rly surprised the audio technica at2020 didn't make an appearance in the mic section - it's an XLR mic that costs about 99 USD! a lot of XLR mics are cheaper than USB mics *because* u need an interface to use them, but the quality is higher
This is really helpful, my dream is to be a voice actor too.❤️
GO GET IT!! :D YOU CAN DO IT!
Thanks
I still need to get the enclosed space figured out. I have a partial wall covered in foam, I have an AT2020 usb mic, and a mic arm. Problem is the amount of post editing I have to do because I am in a large basement and occasionally can hear the echo.
Integrated Services Digital Network is practically Jurassic tech now, isn't it? Surprising to hear of it still being used by folks, out there.
Im not interested in doing voice acting, but do play music so this was just neat to watch and see the set up
Just stepped into voice over for the first time, I have everything I would ever need. The only thing left is training and jobs.
Hey great voices! have you ever tried a Carrie Fisher impression?
While I don't see myself going pro any time soon. It's reassuring to know that the things I've been doing are similar to a professional's methods.
The only thing is that my mic is actually meant for garage band performances lol
The algorithm needs words. I made a plywood study carol with the sound foam glued on.
Oh hey I have a Blue mic too, really is a good one I use on my game channel
I'm actually starting out in VO. This video is very helpful. Brizzy, ever consider becoming a teacher?
I come for the info stay for the Remus (& I admit I was alittle scraed with the tremor holding that mug above him )
My first and current mic is a blue yeti. I’m a beginner.
Brizzy voices, You're on Santa's nice list 🎅
Thank you for making this video for an aspiring voice actor like myself it was very helpful. I gotta ask tho are you okay? I've noticed your hands shaking alot
How To Brizzy is my favorite Brizzy.
Where would you recommend to find starting jobs? I haven’t been able to find much!
bayonetta 3 plug in the video good job
ahehehehehehehehhee
How do you feel about the Shure SE215 PRO IEM's being used in place of headphones? I can't wear headsets because whenever I put any kind on, the headset bump they give me slightly bruises my scalp and hurts only after 20 minutes and buying the IEM's have helped majorly with comfort, and I don't think they leak any audio outside of my ears + they cancel out a majority, if not all, noise around me
Where was this video back on Black Friday when I was buying *everything* for a new home studio!?
LOL IM SORRYYYY
