    No doubt about it, Brizzy can do Harley Quinn, Snow White, and many other characters she can do. This is the best lesson to do voice impressions.

      Agreed, the lesson is broken down into 5 areas and is given an example of 2 characters Brizzy is able to do. The iconic part of the lesson is where she took the scene from Magic School Bus.

    I have quite the masc voice for a girl, so my first voice impression was of my favorite streamer. I really listened to the accent since he is Vietnamese. The way he pronounce "sh", "t" or "p" in a sentence was half the work in my case. Very helpful, by the way!

    Brizzy, thank you for another amazing tutorial video! 👍👍 Been watching your channel since your very first Pokemon impression video, and I have been hooked since.
    I too have dreams of getting into voice acting and impression, but I've been too chicken to proceed with anything because I have anxiety and depression and just worry too much about failure and criticism. But the more I watch your vids, the more you keep inspiring me to just go for it and do it. So for that, thank you.

    Do you have any advice for switching accents to pronounce words more properly? For example, a character is reading street signs in a foreign land so they have to code switch back and forth to lead the way to their destination. Sorry if this question is confusing, it's sort of hard to explain ehe

    • @sdaeley17
      @sdaeley17 Рік тому +3

      It depends. How familiar is the character with the foreign word/accent? If they have little or no experience with it, they may speak slowly, stumble over it, or mispronounce it entirely. If they studied it from books but have no speaking experience, they might have a good vocabulary but terrible pronunciation. These are just some of the questions you can ask to create the sound you want.

    One problem I have with impressions is the rough, hard distortion voices, for example mr krabs, roz, Patrick star, etc etc these voices sometimes strain my vocal cords and idk how to do these without straining, I always see tutorial that say use your diaphragm and or breath support but they don’t explain what that means, which is kinda hard to do certain voices

    Awesome video, Brizzy! I've been trying to practice voice impressions and it's quite difficult when a character is out of range. Loved your examples of Alice and good ol' Mrs. Slug I was trying to imagine reciting Shakespeare as Bugs Bunny...!! Jim's advice on looking at the world through that character is quite interesting - really getting into character can be quite fun!
    For any voice impressions that you *did* practice in depth ~ Do you find yourself shying away from certain types of character voices if you just don't resonate with the character? Despite perhaps being *ok* (well, you're good at SO MANYYYY voices!) at a voice, sometimes I don't feel like being that character, so I find myself stepping away~
    Anywho, I've always been a lurker rather than a commenter on your voice impression vids, it's awesome and inspiring to see how far you've come over the years! Thank you for the instruction and entertainment! 🥰
