same! I think most suggest that you can start your fiverr selling and after you get those small projects, you can actually invest in classes or setup etc.. i mean i could try some class but i dont wanna experiment and waste right now :D something scary for me is fiverr recordings that you have to put for your profile..
isn't it cool that something you recorded 3 years ago, is still relevant? I'm a pro VO, and I just listened to this because I was looking for IVR examples, and a UA-cam search brought this lesson 14 up as an examples. and while it's not, it's a great lesson, and you are so patient and giving as a teacher. Great JOB!
I am currently at a point in my life where I am feeling lost. I am not the type of person who gives up easily. Before I give up, I always sit down, take some time for myself, and always ask, what can I do to improve my life, how can I do better. My native language is Spanish, and I speak English as a second language. Lately, I started to notice how much attention my voice gets when I start a simple conversation. I have a deep voice, and even when I get a cold and my throat gets sore, my voice just seems to impress people even more. That's how I came across the concept of voice acting. However, I do not know anything about voice acting. It seems very interesting and I would like to learn more about it. Any feedback is welcome and very appreciated.
Man this is like the third video that I've watched from your channel over the last 7 to 10 days. I have to say I really like the information that you're sharing it flies in the face of the advice that all the professionals in the industry are currently giving that being do not make a DIY demo you must hire a vo coach etc etc. I'm an American expat living in a third world country and I can't afford to pay someone $600 Brazilian reais (roughly $125 US) per hour for coaching just starting out. I have mouths to feed and that kind of money would put us all on beggars row. So thank you thank you thank you for your videos I especially enjoyed this one because as I do practice on my own I often feel like I'm spinning my wheels and going nowhere, at least with this video I will have some bases for analysis.
I have been preparing to start a career in VO and have my studio equipment ready and now I’m working on my quiet place :) I have been practicing and this video is SO helpful!! Thank you! I subscribed and look forward to your other videos :)
In my case I just met someone randomly and asked her to coach me. In addition to being talented with languages, she has an exceptional ear. Also while being "very insightful and encouraging," she sees my potential for voice acting excellence, and requires this excellence And so from the intensive online research I've done, I taught her how to evaluate and coach me to improve. Our ultimate test seems to be "Was it simply a good believable performance, or did my acting connect so compellingly as to cause goosebumps?" The recorded samples produced using this appraxh has impressed industry professionals, and I'm about to record my first professional demo So maybe just as some potential voice talent have a natural gift, so may some potential voice acting coaches. However, I think both must be willing to trust each other, and help each other to grow
So to be a vooce actor...voiceover lessons are a must?cant they hire like someone who has talent and improved it by himself or worked on himself to get the talent?
My thought: listening to your voice on this podcast is meaningful for me relative to voiceover. I can tell your voice is trained/developed for VO; on the other hand you sound natural and free-flowing. For me, you just provided a freeVO sample session. Peace.
Just did a voice over for my freinds small business and I really shocked myself and my freinds were too. They never heard that voice come out of me lol. But I'm really liking it
Oh! This is so helpful! Thank you :) I've done full training and I'm auditioning, just started so I've been trying to figure out how to improve. This is great :)
@@thaerkaram7045 I want through Such A Voice, but I graduated from broadcasting school back in the 90s and interned at two Market 25 radio stations, along with being a local dj for a time. This has been a long road and now I'm where I need to be again :) How has your training gone?
thank you, I am also getting started and can use any information to get started right. I am currently studying and shopping for a different mic and it's been a good learning experience.
I dont know much about voice acting, but here's what i do. I'll find something I'm interested in, usually a game, then i'll find some voice lines from the game. I'll read what the voice line says (instead of listening to the voice lines) on the games wiki via text form. Then i'll try my best to act/say that line. After i've done that I will import the game voice file into my DAW so i can compare how I did to the professional voice actor. I'll repeat this and save it as a project so I always have it.
For the first time I am satisfy with the content of a UA-camr telling what I was expecting. So thank you so much for this🙏 You deserve my like and subscribe 🙏
How do you know what script your voice matches? Not sure if I'm posing this question correctly. But I feel I got a 1 tone voice . Not an exciting voice like "HEY GUYS!..."... So how do you know which to do
You likely have many many tones without being aware of it when you are not trying to do voice over I think voice acting and all acting really is about taping into the many emotions that cause those various tones, by doing script analysis (research this) and then getting out of your head, by visualizing the moment, and let your emotions flow through you The varied tones will then come by themselves when needed, just as they do in real conversation, if you playfully let go, and let them flow though you
So I have a character I made his name is blitz the hedgehog and I want a voice for him to sound edgy and happy at the same time but I don’t know should I use a my real voice or a cartoon voice

I started just by practicing. Some will need more training than others.

could you help us with someone making animation/video games? some examples to work on?
note: everytime a youtuber talks, talk along with them
note: own your voice, own your throat, then warp your muscle memory
note: open mic to headset setting on win10

where to find voice over scripts with audios for listening practice?please reply
