What was the point of the first knot if you're cutting it off?
Thank you for sharing. I was dreading joining yarn in a chenille blanket but it's so easy
Yess thank you! I could never do this right

You are welcome!
Thanks
But how do I keep continuing after I connect it?
The same way you were doing it before connecting the yarn
I believe you should have suggested that they hand sew several times through that knot because after two or three washings in a machine...the chenille falls off the ends and you have a loose threads that are no longer tied tight cause all the chenille has fallen away. Have a blessed day.
If the ends connected in the way I am showing in the video, washing many times is fine. Machine washing a chenille blanket is different from any other item washing: it should be cold water, gentle quick cycle and a full load with similar color items as chenille yarn is gentle.
I'm 67yo and I am aware how to wash chenille on a cold, gentle cycle .... by itself. The fuzz released each time you wash would stick all over similar colored items. The way you show in the video is the ONLY way to end and connect the yarns...but you MUST say to hand sew several time through the knot!!!
@@jcsallen3 If it's not too much trouble how do you hand sew several times through the knot like you suggest, I am not sure how. Thanks!
@@jcsallen3 Well it's been 4 years and no response to the person who asked you for information on how to do the hand sewing into the knot that you so vehemently suggested is required. Seeing as you are beyond the beginner and basic level of ability in joining bulky size yarns you should have produced your own instructional video. It would have been a much better use of your time and other people's time, than your extremely rude criticism of this person's video. Your comments were not helpful at all. Shame on you.
Thank you!!!!
