[ACURA RSX] HOW TO REPLACE BROKEN REAR SEAT KNOB IN 5 MINUTES!

Got a broken rear seat release knob on your Acura RSX? No problem, you can fix it in 5 minutes with a flathead screwdriver and needle nose pliers!
Part numbers:
Knob - 78165-SA5-003YV ($5.30)
Collar - 78166-SB3-003YE ($2.93)
Part numbers are color specific!

If you're still waiting for the part to come in, you can just twist the broken bottom piece up enough so that it still clicks in and out of the lock. I figured that out after taking it off. Awesome video, thank you so much!

I recently crashed and totaled my 05 RSX do to a driver coming into my one way. I got cashed out by insurance and bought another RSX this time an 02. Everything is clean except the nob for backseat left. It was broken, I found your video and ordered the parts.

2006 type s - besides the front lower seat cushions tearing I finally broke something in the interior....this stupid passenger side knob and I didn't even do anything crazy to break it simply pulled up to put the seat down. Just ordered two of these, one for spare and one to replace. Also ordered two collars incase I scratch these. Thank God they're easily replaceable because I was already thinking I needed to gut the seat to fit this.

Thank you for sharing this. I've had my '05 RSX Type-S for just over two years. One was broken when I bought the car, and the other broke the first time it was pulled. I'm going to order them tonight. This is also a great fix because if my rear hatch actuator ever fails, then I can still access the hatch to get the panel off to replace it. I'd hate to have my stuff locked in there anyway.
